    I feel you Reyne, the amount of frustration that comes with racing is truly none other. So much time and effort. That feeling of being on track is just too good, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Keep going man, I am rooting for you at all time. You are the man!

    Here's some tips that I've learned over my first 2 years -
    1. When the car gets wayyyyy tight like that, jab the brake or ride it a little bit instead of cranking the wheel all the way
    2. When it's slimy like it was in hotlaps, stand the wing up quite a bit and move it back more than usual to plant the car as much as possible.
    Keep on diggin though 99% of people would have gave up by now. Now that you're finishing races you'll be able to build off of what you have learned so far.

      hey boss.
      My rear end is braked on the right side too which were planning on taking off shortly, otherwise the brake jab would definitely help more.
      My wing valve does work very good it’s absolutely terrible. When we’ve got more time and aren’t fighting the engine any more we’ll work on fixing that.

    Tough break Reyne. I saw all of the built up pressure, frustration and exhaustion released in that moment. Its co.pletely understandable and I don't think anyone could blame you for feeling the way you did. But as a fan and supporter of your and your team, I am as proud as ever for the resiliance you show. Hope that you get to race this upcoming weekend. #Believe23

    You're not letting anyone down nor yourself down, yall have learned so much and came so far in a few short runs and time frame, that's anything but easy to do, and everyone in racing knows the struggle. Things will go wrong in a sprinter more then they will go right, they break, shit happens and it's just a grind to race, that's why alot can't or don't do it. I feel your emotions, I know everything you go through. keep learning and working man it'll all come together, it's what it takes, it's what racing is. What you do at home with the car will affect how your night at the track goes. Make a checklist when we come in from hot laps we go down the list, I know time doesn't always allow this, but it helps stay more organized cause you know chaos happens at the track. Perth looks so intimidating, super fast, slick up on the wall speed will come with time and learning. You should be proud and happy bro not down and out to do what you have from where you came from with the little red tool box dude NOBODY does that, I've been around my whole life too afraid to put all my money into goin racing even though it's all I wanna do. I dont wanna go through what you gotta go through to race the grind is worth it but its a grind. Nothin but respect to you for goin and living it

    The car seemed to have plenty of HP. Now all you need is seat time. The car you had wasn't right due to engine issues and car setup, now you have a car that you can work with. Keep going forward.

    doing good mate just remember if your having fun its worth it thats what i say when i race also the gas is your friend dont be shy to gas it rather than getting off it the car will steer alot better instead of cranking the wheel with no gas enter on the gas and steer through it seat time will fix most of it doing the right thing starting off the rear is a good idea alot to be learned from that chin up mate yhats racing

      Howdy, i’m gonna respond assuming this is the first of my videos you’ve watched.
      After fighting this car for over 2 years I still haven’t finished a feature race. The motor is finally is a spot where it can finish races after christ knows how many hours of work, late nights, bad eating, minimal sleep and all the rest. Especially over the last 2 months, i’ve had next to no life outside making this thing work. Then I banged the car up at practice 2 days before this show which resulted in 2 straight days of thrashing trying to get it ready for this race night you just watched.
      So I finally had a CAR that can make it to the end, I went and screwed it up.
      If you think showing emotion is cringe that’s fine you don’t have to keep watching, but it’s not the first or last time you’ll see it in my videos. I’m a highly emotional person and I’m not gonna show only the good times that’s never what this channels been about. I want to encourage folks to get into racing but I won’t have them thinking it’s all sunshine and rainbows.

      @reyneleesonmotorsport you had a night full of positives the team you have around you is amazing, the car looks great and looks fast, you improved drastically at every stage of the night and clearly a massive improvement from your last events.
      Then one small issue at the end of the feature and all the positives are out of the window bit of a slap in the face to everyone who helped you get to where you are i bet they werent dissapointed in the night👍

    • @reyneleesonmotorsport
      @reyneleesonmotorsport  9 дней назад +1

      @@MrBigfella1234that’s a fair opinion but I respectfully disagree. I’m not of the opinion that the meltdown undoes the work we’ve all done and if nothing else it tells them I care.
      We’re right on the cusp of finishing our first feature so it’ll be as high of a high as this was a low. Is what they tell me anyway 😂

    • @Daytona_Dad
      @Daytona_Dad 9 дней назад

      Reyne has worked his ass off for 2 years, scraped, and clawed for everything he has. They have had one issue after another and keep fighting just to get to finish a race. Also, not sure if you remember at the beginning of the video the man mentions grinding for 2 straight days to get the car race ready again... What you call a cringe fest was nothing more than a release of pent up pressure and frustration. I see Reynes passion for this and I think the way he acted is very understandable. It may not be ideal, but we're humans and racing is full of very few ups and a hell of a lot of downs, but I think Reyne is on the upside now. Have a little understanding my guy.
