The downstairs curved sink looks like a " futuristic " urinal ! 🤣🤣🤣 ( to paraphrase a line from " Steel Magnolias " - " I bet your husband's a real gentleman ... he takes the dishes outta the sink before he pees in it ! ' )

😂 Yes! My thoughts exactly. I love Steel Magnolias! Hate the sink though. Sure it may look cool but how do you wash even a mug or glass in that thin? So many broken cups from banging them accidentally on the counter edge as you wash! Not to mention water all over the counter from stray water spraying off the glasses/ small plates/ hands. Waste of $$ IMO.
@@melissab6279 Yep - waste of $$ ! I think the designer does not get that " country " or even an interpretation of " modern country " should at least be purposeful / practical . How about a metal stock tank or a couple rubbermaid black rubber horse buckets / hog pans ? ! 🤣🤣🤣

Gorgeous house…a few changes I would do like add a bedroom on the main floor, maybe one in the basement. The outdoor space with the grill I would cover there too, with something removable on a nice sunny day. I would want to be able to use that space even when it’s a rainy day. I would replace the laundry room in master bedroom making that room bigger. Place it somewhere else on that floor.
There is a bathroom on the main floor.
I like when I see reviewers walk IN the space. Helps to show depth and size to some of these spaces. A lot of that gets lost in the wide angle video sometimes...if that makes sense.

Tim, The primary bathroom has a steam shower!!! Hence that’s why the ceiling is tilted and that fancy little box is the device to control time/ temp 😅

I really like this farm house! It needs at least a family of 4. Or at least you entertain a lot. I would close the doors to that 3rd floor.
This is inarguably an absolutely beautiful home. I'm the outlier in that I absolutely loathe open concepts. I want my kitchen to be my kitchen, I want my family room to be my family room. It's very interesting to see houses so close to each other. Coming from a low population state it would be a hard adjustment. In a high population area it looks ideal, though. I'm not sure if it's accurate to call it farmhouse. At least not to a New Englander. It's way too contemporary. That's not what farmhouses look like, not set up that way. It's still an amazing place over all.
I'm on almost 10 acres and I feel closed in.

I really do enjoy your videos, I do wish you could slow it down some it’s such a fast paced that your walking. That at times it hard to fully watch and enjoy the video, but I do other wise like your videos because you do a full walk through and most of the homes you show if not all the are furnished.
Are you touring all of their homes, I’ve seen the interactive ones, but is so much better to see them like this

Oven in a wall with NO counter to place hot pans on. Stove on other side? No. Terrible kitchen design unless you don't cook
New to the channel, do you let viewers know the flooring you see in the home? Curious because I love the flooring. Not sure if you also show homes for those that would like to upgrade their own home.

Nice house design, BUT for 1.45 M, I demand a double-deep 20' wide garage or at a minimum, a three car-wide garage. I also demand two dish washers.
I like that the office can be closed off. That kitchen is nothing short of gorgeous! Gasp! 😮 The area behind the kitchen is laid out so well. I think the open sitting area/coat closet would be more well suited with a large double door coat closet instead. There’s room for a chair or two there to sit in to take your shoes off. Or better yet, take them off at the door and carry them to the closet. In this caliber home, I don’t know that I would want street shoes on those beautiful floors. I think you could take the gym and turn it into a hidden or safe room. Then call it the hidden “gem.” (See what I did there? 🤣) Super cool sink in basement kitchen! Not a drinker but the bar could be a great addition to a theater room down there! Love this house! Great video! Thanks Tim!

Hi Tim,Jen and boys! I really like the outside of your his home. The porches is gorgeous. All I can say that’s a whole lot of cleaning. You better have a large family and do lots of entertaining! It’s beautiful on the inside. It’s very high end. Extremely gorgeous throughout. I love this home. Just to large for me. Great narration and showing.

I’m looking for a home with an tub located past the shower.
So imagine walking in… you pass your shower and keep walking, then you step up into the tub. When done bathing, you exit and take steps into your shower and rinse with warm water and dry there.
Californian here, I’ve always wondered why isn’t there backyard fencing??
I moved from SoCal to Wisconsin and my HOA here blocks privacy fences. It gives the illusion of a larger yard, but also allows neighborhood kids and pets to roam through your yard. My neighborhood has 1/4 to 1/2 lots. I would prefer privacy fencing.

Not sure what they were thinking with the sink behind the bar in the finished basement. Very different. The only criticism I have is the colors of the kitchen cabinets. Would love to see the bottom cabinets be black like the island and the uppers in white. It would greatly open up the room and give it a more expansive appearance. But that’s just me. LOL
The black top cabinets are a bit distracting for my liking.

The idea of those funny shaped sinks is to fill them with ice to chill wine/champagne or beer.
But I absolutely agree with you about it, they are almost useless and look odd.
It feels like a McMansion that needs to be reworked. Too many eating areas, dining room not near kitchen. Design wise, trying to straddle industrial, Studio McGee and early 2000s farmhouse. When you’ve got steel trusses on a ceiling in a new house, you’re trying too hard. Cut off the back of the kitchen and install a cooks kitchen behind it and have a smaller “public kitchen.” Replace protruding fridge with cabinet depth model. There’s sooo much blank space. I’d say if the buyer has the cash, bring in an architect to rework the layout and a design firm to establish a definite design style. I’m being a beeyotch, but we see these kinds of homes changing hands endlessly and becoming dated monstrosities that no one wants to take on ten years later.

"Farmhouse" I'm curious what makes this a "farm house"
It’s a style thing, basically just because how it looks on the outside, with the exterior siding and the gable roofs, which are supposed to be reminiscent of the appearance of an old farmhouse.

Nice home and if it was mine, yes the front sitting room would be what it was originally designed for and that would be the formal dining room. Some things I really like, other's not but do see they are optional and other options are available. For me this home is monstrously large and I have no use for it but a full family that love's to entertain and have extended family visit etc. It's a dream. I'd like to see some outstanding single story Homes too. I like the gothic style of this home but wouldn't say My favorite. That two car garage would be classified as a 4 car here because each side can have two car's parked so would be a tandem 2 car garage. Excited to see the rest. Glad you are having a fun time, it shows and for a humongous house you did a very good job showing it. Thanks and stay safe, until the next one 😉

This home would be a Miracle to own if it were built were I live now in White Earth, Minnesota. Just a dream for me tho, I would feel like a servant in my own house if I lived in one. If I Win Publishers Clearance house on the 28th I definitely want this one. In my dreams tho,. Haha.
