Funny thing is Clyde was always portrayed as the stupid one.
Canonically, his AI is literally chase Pac-Man until in an 8 tile radius of him and then get distracted and run to the bottom left corner of the maze, so he is genuinely stupid
Unless you count the hanna barbera cartoon and wreck it Ralph.
@@AlexKsToonZone The cartoon isn't canon, and Clyde in Wreck-It-Ralph seems to be following the theory that Clyde isn't stupid but rather doesn't want to hurt anyone like the others (thus not wanting to be a bad-guy.)
He did do the dumb thing, poor clyde will be looking over his shoulder for the rest of his existence
Now Pinky will come after him so maybe kind of stupid. Then again, he's a ghost.

Considering all this time that we've perceived Pinky as a male (even the original Hanna-Barbera cartoons did this), I'd say this new gender identity is valid given the reboot that the franchise has given us since the Pac-Man World days.
Seeing Pinky have this kind of personality being different than the other ghosts would be an interesing to check out in more detail.

I have a theory. I think the pink Pac-Man started all of this by dieing somehow, therefor turning into a ghost, so someone took her place, and when someone would take the new spot she would poison them therefore making inky, blinky, and Clyde. So the Pac-Man that we know today is one of the ghosts and will probably be replaced soon...
