Great video!! How often do I have to change engine oil on my GT86?

Why do you need to pull the dipstick to allow the oil to drain when you have already loosened the filler cap?
Tighten the drain plug, but what is the torque spec? Since I own a torque wrench, I torque everything, including the filter.

Simon Watling that particular engine is designed by Subaru, it's the same engine on the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ and that same engine is also seen here on the the Toyota 86 so all 3 cars are pretty much the same one but under 3 different names.

    thanks for the video.
what are your thoughts on using a 10w30 oil for a bit more power and performance?

iNDIGO You will not gain any performance with 10w30. IF you are going to track your car you should use 0w40.
