Dark MBTI: ISFJ - The Helicopter Parents of Society

  • In this video, we discuss the darker side of the ISFJ. Their tendency to care of others is not as void of darkness as you might think. Characters like Marlin from Finding Nemo and Emma Pillsbury from Glee only possess small parts of the puzzle. In order to find the darkest an ISFJ can become, we have to dig deep through mythology and history.

      Mae Dawn I can tell you a little bit of the dark side of ESFP. Just my first hand personal experience.
      Huge problem number one: you try to constrain them in dogmas and traditional expectations of the society. You make them feel unworthy because you take a high horse attitude of “you should because that’s the proper thing to do “. ESFP has it’s own moral compass (a very strong Fi). Others telling them what’s morally right and ridiculing them at that is a huge no no.
      Second: you try to bulshit them. ESFPs have an inbuilt bull detector. They hate, HATE, sneakiness, double faceness, behind your back stabbing because they are a very straight forward people. . They are sensitive and don’t like serious confrontation, but if it has to be, do it face to face rather than talking behind their backs. It’ll hurt but still less than backstabbing. A second huge no no.
      There’s more but those two are on the top. ESFP will feel ridiculed and betrayed to the core.
      So what’s the worst ESFP will do then? What comes to mind is the saying “ Hell has no fury as the woman scorend “. Doesn’t matter if man or woman. ESFP will go out it’s way to destroy you where you’re most vulnerable. She) let’s say she for the sake of simplicity here) will expose you publicly, for everyone to see, the more the better. She’ll destroy your relationships which are based, according to her, on your lies and deceit. She’ll destroy your fake reputation for everyone to see.
      On a larger scale?
      ESFP will become The Joker. And that’s not the worst. If truly evil, they’ll become an shape shifting, worst of the worst of an ENTP. Their demon function.
      I’m lucky i never got even close to the deprived demon function of mine.
      So yeah, the fun loving ESFP will destroy you and your future when you least expect it. And it’ll be ugly. And you’ll find yourself asking wtf just happened???!!
      Just my humble take on ESFP at its worst
      ESFP

    DIY how to bring the best out of ISFJ : attach them to something that need their protection

    This was very interesting. My mother’s an isfj and we are very close. The greatest source of contention between us is that I have an adventurous and unconventional side. I often feel discouraged from pursuing my goals and dreams in life. To her credit though she sees how unhappy it makes me to be forced into a little safe box. I see her trying hard to let go more and more. I know she doesn’t tell me how scared some of my decisions make her. I’m just now learning to appreciate how hard she’s trying and how hard it is for her.

      Carsten T. MacDonald please be careful here. Your message is to warn people of their worst traits. You will get lots of messages from people who find those comparisons encouraging. You need to stop it immediately, if you allow for the grey areas, you might start encouraging bad behaviour. You’re dealing with DARKEST sides of every personality and you need to be CLEAR, in every single if your comments, about what your attentions are. Not lol. Not I’m not sure what you’re talking about. I’m telling you this from the bottom of my heart.

    People can type one way and have disorders that make them look like another type.
    Associating OCD with Si is one thing, but theorizing OCD is more prevalent in Si types might be a stretch.
    Autism is not OCD, but can correlate. Autism could also increase Si prevalence if sensory sensitivity leads to routine habits.

      @@appleasassin3314 it depends, if I have time I can write the script in about 1-2 weeks. But the research takes quite a while aswell. Then the editing. Loving all your videos, especially the last one since I never knew why I always felt like the joker until realising he's an ENTP like me. :) I love considering endless possibilities and thinking about what potential may be actualised into, in the future. It is on this foundation, that I strongly believe your channel will become far more successful than it currently is, and it's already statistically better than most channels that have no subscribers or uploaded videos. Technically, you're already ahead of the curve. You've found a niche and you're making it more interesting than many. I've relentlessly been searching for a good channel about personality psychology since my newfound interest in it. You're truly the best fit.

    I enjoy these types of videos you are creating. Keep up the informative quality and top notch content, and you are bound to grow in popularity fast! Not just for mbti/big five and psychology nuts and curious of the lot who can enjoy knowledge; but also this is great for writers. As for other types, that are not as much into internet/ underrepresented (living the real life out there, not much into the banter-debates and philosophy); i mean like not having as much internet prevalence/exposure as in S types (ESTP) or career nuts like ENTJ ? Can we expect videos coming up on them in the future sometime perhaps? Or do you prefer to create videos based upon your favourite historical evil figures / availability of data and ease of research?

    • @CarstenTMacDonald
      @CarstenTMacDonald  5 лет назад +1

      Yes it's rather difficult to destingush the difference between personality and disability. Some people may find it a curse to be very structural for example, but that might look like a superpower to a perceiving type.

    • @lytea5191
      @lytea5191 5 лет назад

      Yess, and I think that learning about the types could be a potential help to control this in extreme cases- as not to deny people of personality traits that could be seen and used as strengths if they were simply wielded in a healthier manner.
