I was just there this past weekend dropped 50 bucks easy!! Love it!! I line my fridge with the long flat foil pans easy to clean!! also I use the baskets in my personal bathroom!! 😍🤩♥️
Oh. That is a great idea about the foil pans. Also makes looking for stuff in the back by just pulling it out some. Thank you for this great idea. Heading there this weekend. FYI. Hope they are not made in China.
I really like the placemat idea. My new house has glass upper cabinets and bright colored mats would look great . Also I HATE wiping out the fridge shelves-mats would be great there.
Moved to apt. in ver old home. Many doors had about a 1/2" clearance to the floor (must have all been carpeted at some time), which caused a lot of draft. Instead of paying $10+ for those draft dogers, I bought a couple pool noodles, cut them to length, sliced lengthwise on one side, then slipped the noodle around the bottom of the door...no more drafts.
@@---nj7hl I love my pool noodles!!! I have them everywhere I can find a place for them, even made a hernia pillow for my preggy friend lol. Love all the colors and sizes. Great at the bottom of a dried or fake flower arrangement
Thank you for these ideas. They'll come in handy with the spring coming up. I really like the laundry bin idea to take to the beach you don't have to worry about LARGE amounts of sand because they'll fall through the openings, the toys will dry quickly and it's easier to transport. Thank you for you time & ideas
I keep these types of mesh bags in the toy trunk we carry in the van for summer toys and towel (and a few squirt guns.) When the nice weather arrives the niece and nephew always make sure I have that oy trunk along and the mesh bag is a good way to carry the basketball, soccer ball, small bouncy balls for kickball or whatever.
Such great ideas! I especially love the one for the fridge. Just went to buy some items at the $1 store to organize my makeup collection. It's a great place to find some pretty things to make your clutter like neat and lovely.
I live next to a flower shop. The small wreaths START at $85 and go up. A plain, undecorated Christmas wreath...just the greens...starts at $50. $300 for a beautiful, well-made arrangement is not unusual.
The little organize bins very frustrating. I cant never find a combination that works perfectly for any of my drawers. So I bought a couple foam board, glue gun and a exacto knife. Once you figure out the measurement, sky is the limit.
In Modern Living Room Everyone Using "SoundProof Curtains" That Stops Outside Noise by 80% (25 Db) Tested. Check Here: livesoundproof.com/best-soundproof-curtains/
I had the same problem with my drawers. They were either too high, too low, or that last one just didn't fit right! Thanks for the idea, I use foam board for a lot of things, now that will be my new project 😀👍
I agree. The bins are not squared correctly and they all have a lip at the top so they don’t nest or fit well side-by-side in the drawers which makes some wasted space.
I used different sized plastic boxes to organize our camper. I attached them to the walls with command hooks then hung them through the holes in the baskets. Can't put heavy things in them but it did a great job. I'm so proud of it!😌
I thought so too but unless you glue them in place they just slide down to the bottom of the hangers, no matter how tightly you wrap them. I had 200 hangers to do and almost all had this problem soon after I did this. I should have glued them when I first did it. I didn't have time or energy to mess with it again. I just went to Walmart and bought thin space saving hangers that are covered in a velvety material. Now no slippage and I have more room in my closet!
Hi, everyone. This isn't a Dollar store idea, but it's very useful and practical: If you are like me, you have a drawer filled with address stickers...some accurate, some not, but about 3.45M of them! I recently found a great use for them: as precut pieces of clear sticky tape, (i.e. Scotch tape). Of course, its not for public things, just the scads of uses for clear sticky tape in the home. I started using it shyly, but then more and more and am delighted each time I find an additional application. And, these labels are strong. I used to shred them, and still do with some, but now I have a piece of tape all ready to peel off the paper! Hope this helps others out there. : )
I love using the toy noodles in my boots, so they don't get ruined. Just cut them to the size of your boot legs and insert. I once used newspaper, but that got really messy. Thank you for the video..
If your fridge has wire racks, do not cover them with anything. This blocks circulation of cold air to keep your foods cold. You will be calling out a repairman for service unnecessarily.
that's fine, but there are those of use who have maintained our fridges (like me) and I am still using my fridge that I bought back in 1975 - and it has wire shelves - in fact the original user manual instructs the user to NOT cover the shelves with a solid sheet because it will impede the proper flow of cooling air
Some are just small stores, we have one now thats in another town and it's frigging huge, 10 times the size, like a supermarket, well a smaller one hah! And they have more and better stuff, same company though. Just watch, things are now made for the dollar store, cat treats at Walmart are actually cheaper because you get more, and Easter grass, like 88 cents at Walmart. I bought the plastic shoe boxes and found better ones at Walmart for 88 cents. But the BIG dollar tree had bigger ones and nicer ones for a dollar. Just like when you grocery shop, the price on the left in orange is by volume, so you can compare sizes, guess what though, bigger used to always mean cheaper. NO MORE, they know this and that most don't bother looking at volume prices, since they are all measure using the same, gallon, lb, etc, the higher price is instantly the worst price, and frequently i am finding manufacturers charging more per volume in LARGE sizes not smaller. Like a small ketchup might cost less per volume than the bigger one, so LOOK PEOPLE DON'T BE IGNORANT. They are ripping you off, like a lb of coffee is now 13 oz, and 5 lbs of sugar is 3 or 4 lbs now, same price, LESS PRODUCT. Don't be tricked.
Don't use hot glue for the felt piece throw. When you wash the throw, it'll fall apart. Instead, either sew the pieces together or use permanent fabric glue.
Don't use hot glue for weighty glass. It is a temporary bond at best and will quickly fail. Hot glue works best on porous surfaces and will not tolerate being outdoors for long if used on smooth surfaces.
redcrimson I'm no expert but what is your end use? Kinda depends on the environment (heat, cold, moisture) and how much stress it will need to endure. How about Loctite Glass Glue? I've never used it but it's worth a try. One thing you might consider is using fabric as a base for gluing the stones and then wrap that decorated fabric around the glass. Depends on the shape I imagine, but I decorated an "up light" that way (minus the stones). Remember that you'll eventually need to clean your project. Will it hold up to washing or will you need to use a spray cleaner like the stuff I use to clean "silk" flowers? -- or maybe just a dusting will suffice. The Loctite says it's safe for the dishwasher. If true, that's pretty tough stuff.
A tip for hot glue: Say you want to glue together two stainless steel spoons or other smooth materials. If you lay some glue on one spoon and then press another onto it, it will stick for a while but won't take much stress or big temperature swings such as outdoors in New England. But if you wrap the glue around the two objects it will hold far better. Even if the glue bond fails, the spoons will still hold because they are "trapped" in the glue. Yes, the glue will show but you can cover it with findings or a "silk" flower etc. Edit: for something like the above you would use High Temp glue. Never low temp - which is more flexible and softens with heat faster (such as direct sunlight).
A Dollar Store treat while working on your crafts: $3.00. Cherry pie filling, already made angel food cake or similar dessert, and whipped cream. Add walnuts or pecans. Total $4.00, 4-5 servings.
I Love it, thanks for sharing. Another reason I love inexpensive things is because I love to change and move things around when I am feeling some kinda way, it helps me focus and stay on track. This is one small thing that makes me a bit happier. Life is good when you know the truth and stay in your lane. 👍👍👍👍
Need a bit of insulation for a window or glass door in the winter..?? the dollar store carries poster board that is paper on outsides with a styrofoam material in the middle.. they're a decent like 3ftx2ft size.. where else will you find insulation that size for a buck. I've had some in the windows of my travel trailer and they've held up for two years now..
LOVE me some Dollar Tree time. I already use several of these Dollar Store ideas. Place mat fridge liners, Dollar Tree little rectangular baskets hung with Command Hooks (Wal-Mart) on back of door spice rack & storage for sponges, hot melt fragrance wax for wax melt burners, pencils etc.
iLOVE the Dollar Stores.Sometimes u can really find expensive looking things for your home. Also, when going to the movies,we go there and load my purse up with goodies instead of having to pay 5 bux for a damn box of candies.
Last Christmas I bought the clear dinner plates to make pretty cookie trays for gifts. Decoupage fabric to bottom of plate and let dry. I liked the smaller bread plate size for candy holders too. You can even get dishwasher safe decoupage. These gifts were so pretty plus inexpensive!
For my daughter's 6th Birthday party we took the kids to our local McDonald's . They each picked which kids meal they wanted and after went to the play area where they had different activities. Instead of goodie bags we went to the dollar store across the street and gave each kid three dollars to pick out any 3 things they wanted. They had a great time picking out what they wanted . It was such an easy but fun day and it only cost 50.00 dollars and change for her Birthday.
Dried spray glue leaves enough grip to keep your clothes from falling off. Just wipe your hangers with alcohol or windex, let it completely dry, then spray glue along the top edges of your hanging hangers (not the hook). Let dry before use, or your clothes might not want to let go. Also, make sure you are upwind of the spray so you don't get any on you or inhale it.
Great tips. I have used some of the small bins to un- clutter draws and as silverware seperator. Also for almost anything in pantry to keep things organized.
Thank you !!!! I find a lot of the ideas fun for young teens to make a few dollars at craft/veggie/lula roe outside events. This is fabulous and gives kids earning potential / good funding ideas for young athletes. With parental supervision, I think it is much better then kids standing outside of stores begging.
Man, I feel like the dollar tree where this person lives is on point! The one I go to just has a bunch of crappy plastic things, boxes from inventory the employess never put away all up in the aisles, and random ass children running around...smh
Seriously, I want to know what MASSIVE Dollar Tree she has and with such good quality items. The ones at the 4 stores nearest me don't have half this stuff. And the stuff we have is all thin and flimsy and cheap. I think some of this was really from nicer stores she's passing off as Dollar Tree. Like the comforter storage bags - hers looks think and completely clear. The one I bought was so thin it ripped when I was just unfolding it.
I make my own French fries. When I'm done I filter the oil through a coffee filter. It takes a few minutes but it gets out all the particles. Vegetable oil by itself will last long for months or more than a year. But if you use it to cook food with it will turn bad. What most people don't know is that it's not the oil that spoils but rather it's the food particles in the oil. Filter out the particles and the oil will last much longer. You can use the same oil 10-20 times before you have to throw it away. You don't have to throw it away until it either turns dark in color or starts to smell and that should take many months. You can also use coffee filters to filter out undesirable particles from almost any water or oil based liquid.
i worked at this restaurant where the chef had a car he had parked in the back for a few years he wasnt using well apparently it did not run on gas but fryer oil.. weird and pretty cool i thought i dont know the process of how the oil was treated to make the little car run but the story was real, he said the only problem was that the car while running would smell like french fries lol
When I watch videos like this, I only expect to get about 1-2 ideas I can use. Seems (by comments) that people expect to find MOST ideas will work for them. Of course not. I don't understand such high expectations on the part of people, and I don't get the critical remarks when the ideas are not "life-changing" for some viewers. What do you expect from a FREE video? Just enjoy them for what they are; and stop being so critical. How about just mentioning the ONE idea that appeals to you, and if none do, just move on and watch a different video. I NEVER click on "dislike" for ANY video I watch. I'm not so narcissistic as to expect that ANY video is "bad" just because it doesn't appeal to me.
Better than the stale popcorn my boyfriend's mom gave me. I ate two pieces. He ate more and got sick. At least with the utensils with contact paper, you could remove the contact paper and use them.
you can also accordion-fold dollar store table runners, neckties and socks to make the ring holder tray. anything long and silky. no cotton batting necessary. you can hot glue the accordion to the bottom of the tray for stability if you want.
U can also use the small foam curlers that look like a mini pool noodle and cover with fabric or contact p and cut them to the size of small boxes and put together in a larger box
See if you can find a DVD of the movie "The Cheap Detective", with Peter Falk and Ann-Margret. The way she pronounces "baubles" is something of a plot point. (The movie's dated 1978, so it's been waiting almost 43 years for you to hear it.)
Wow, Who know! Last month cleaned my refrigerator and cover the glass shelf with plate mats from the Dollar Tree. I used the table cloth as a liner for my dog and place on the deck with training pads for my dog. Maybe, I should do a video.
I thought so too but unless you glue them in place they just slide down to the bottom of the hangers, no matter how tightly you wrap them. I had 200 hangers to do and almost all had this problem soon after I did this. I should have glued them when I first did it. I didn't have time or energy to mess with it again. My 3 favorites have to be the placemats for the refrigerator shelves. The glass is a pain to clean when cold and if the fridge is full I don't always want to remove everything so I can wash the shelf. The next is the coffee filter idea! I hate that my good dishes can get scratched from laying on top of each other and the coffee filters as separators are a cheap solution. The last would have to be the shower caddy treat solution. Brilliant idea!
My dollar tree is clean and organized. My favorite buy was butter dishes, the top, turned up side down is the perfect size box to hold things in my narrow medicine cabinet. For real. But, after watching this video I think I will make gifts out of the bottoms.... clear plastic chimes hanging from wire coat hangers on yarn wrapped in pipe cleaners. Maybe I'll roll up baby socks and tie them in the center to look like flowers and glue them on the coat hanger......my friends will appreciate the decorative gift.(okay, I'm making this part up, lol).
My mom made Christmas wreaths with wire hangers using different colors of yarn and adding details ! I remember her doing that in 80s ! She sold a bunch !
Here's a tip for the balloon and twine with glue trick, if you want something inside of the ball like tiny fairy lights or for an outdoors or garden decoration use solar powered fairy lights, but put whatever you want in your ball, inside the balloon before blowing it up (I'd use big balloons) to whatever size you want and when you pop it your item will be in the ball! Just has to fit thru the balloon opening but you can get balloons with big openings and you'd be surprised how much they stretch!
Some really super ideas. I love the place mat pillows and the plastic placemats in the fridge. Well done.
I went into the Dollar Tree near me and was blown away by the people following Covid protocols and the exemplary service from the gentleman at the register. Watching him almost scientifically pack the customer ahead of me was unreal. He ended by handing her the Graham cracker pie crust so it wouldn’t break. Any supermarket wouldn’t care. I already use several of these Dollar Store ideas.
Place mat fridge liners, Dollar Tree little rectangular baskets hung with Command Hooks (Wal-Mart) on back of door spice rack & storage for sponges, hot melt fragrance wax for wax melt burners, pencils etc.
the laundry mesh bag great idea!

Great for storing fresh grown potatoes and onions
iLOVE the Dollar Stores.Sometimes u can really find expensive looking things for your home.
I like your idea...will try that! 👍
Thanks for taking the time to share! The pool noodle drink carrier was brilliant, though I wouldn't linger beneath that chandelier..
I saw a Meijer box! Yay Michigan! 😀 Great tips.
Thank you for this awesome video. TONS of useful ideas I've never thought of before, but I'll definitely be using them now!! Thanks again 😊
Love the placemats in the fridge!!
How to make a fashionable box: drape shower curtain over the top and wrap rope/string around balloon. Pop balloon. There ya go! A trendy.. box?
Something was left on the cutting room floor, I think.

Yes - that was a mix up. I did like the look of the lights - May have to search that one.

I use the felt place mat as a tool box liner. Works great.
I saw the Meijer logo... hello fellow Michigander! ♥️
I know what I'll be doing for my summer vacation! These are awesome ideas! Thanks for sharing.

Going to the dollar store is what you'll be doing for vacation? Really

I wish Dollar Tree have cross stitching supplies
Great tips. I have used some of the small bins to un- clutter draws and as silverware seperator. Also for almost anything in pantry to keep things organized.
Great ideas! Gonna do the place matts in the fridge for sure! Thanks
The one I go to just has a bunch of crappy plastic things, boxes from inventory the employess never put away all up in the aisles, and random ass children running around...smh
mine too
Seriously, I want to know what MASSIVE Dollar Tree she has and with such good quality items.
Dollar store website for full catalog stuff
👏👏
Lazy House Cat you must live in ny. Lol our dollar trees are disgusting
I absolutely love the faux nail head trim! Great idea!
Gluing those jars together is what i need to organize my electronic parts!
"do this to avoid having to purchase drawer dividers"
"use drawer dividers to make this ring thing"
Rayann Midkiff I took it to mean that custom drawer dividers are expensive, whereas you can grab whatever's there for the jewellery holder.

You can also use coffee filters to filter out undesirable particles from almost any water or oil based liquid.
nunya biznez na
Oil shouldn't be used more than a couple of times, because heating it causes it to hydrogenate and make harmful trans fats. Sorry.
i worked at this restaurant where the chef had a car he had parked in the back for a few years he wasnt using well apparently it did not run on gas but fryer oil.. weird and pretty cool i thought i dont know the process of how the oil was treated to make the little car run but the story was real, he said the only problem was that the car while running would smell like french fries lol
Dalton lockridge I swear I’ve seen this on a show before. Lol nice try though.
@@dshe8637 fyi restaurants dont change their oil but every 1 or 2 weeks and cook in it a couple hundred times a day.
I'm not so narcissistic as to expect that ANY video is "bad" just because it doesn't appeal to me.
arx754 preach it!

Great comment!!
Amen sister!
Totally agree. Stop picking everything apart like the video was only meant for you. No one forces people to watch. She has great ideas.
Though it really just means you don't personally like the video, so I guess it isn't necessarily narcissistic to dislike something.
Ring holder - use foam rollers, not batting. Wrap each roller in fabric and hot glue into whatever box you like. The rollers can be easily trimmed.
Hear could melt the rollers.
Very small amounts will have no effect.
Awesome! I didn't like this video because she didn't really explain how to finish anything!
This is actually AMAZING!
Thank YOU!

You had me at the plastic mats in fridge and sealed deal with artificial flower wreath
I would hate it if somebody gave me Wooden Spoons with contact paper on them
donna field 😂😂😂
Luckily they’re not given to u ;) lol
Be grateful what someone is able to afford and quit being a snot
Better than the stale popcorn my boyfriend's mom gave me. I ate two pieces. He ate more and got sick. At least with the utensils with contact paper, you could remove the contact paper and use them.
They'd be hard to hold. That's why wood. Or bamboo.
you can also accordion-fold dollar store table runners, neckties and socks to make the ring holder tray. anything long and silky. no cotton batting necessary. you can hot glue the accordion to the bottom of the tray for stability if you want.
U can also use the small foam curlers that look like a mini pool noodle and cover with fabric or contact p and cut them to the size of small boxes and put together in a larger box
Is no one going to mention that at 2:25 they switched from talking about a box to talking about balloons???
I came to the comments specifically for this.
@@chastityspear8932 Well, yeah, but there are just SO many other things to comment about.
That was a cool project
It was just another thing to do with the twine or rope. Liked both ideas.
They were talking about twine for both.
I know I’m three years late but I have to tell you these ideas you shared, are going to change my life 😊 so Thank you.
You are so welcome!
Extremely imaginative creative and intelligent ideas! One of the best videos I've ever seen on RUclips! Please keep them coming!!!!! $

The garden carry-alls are a great idea, too, for movie night.

I used to do that basket on the stairs thing with my kids. They now have their own kids! Lol
It's a great utilitarian idea & very attractive. There are some talented & creative people in this world & I'm thankful they share their gifts.
When I go there it's the hundred dollar store. I might have a problem.

I've waited 43 years to hear someone say, "baubles". 🙂

@@stephaniejohnson1539 yyyy//
You don't use baubles on your Christmas tree?
Sis cracks up laughing every time I use the term🌹
See if you can find a DVD of the movie "The Cheap Detective", with Peter Falk and Ann-Margret. The way she pronounces "baubles" is something of a plot point. (The movie's dated 1978, so it's been waiting almost 43 years for you to hear it.)
I really like the fact that you can decorate for a very affordable price and it looks good
Thanks for the back splash idea. I live in an apartment and I'm drying to have a backsplash in my bathrooms and kitchen 💕😉💕
RUclips does it again...This video was posted 2 years ago and it’s in everyone’s recommended
And again!
Use long baskets in frig to easily; access items, clean n use all the back storage!
I use clear plastic bins in mine to organize and to keep shelves clean. They are easy to take out and wash.
Wow, Who know! Last month cleaned my refrigerator and cover the glass shelf with plate mats from the Dollar Tree. I used the table cloth as a liner for my dog and place on the deck with training pads for my dog. Maybe, I should do a video.
I did the same thing in my refrigerator! I like your table cloth idea as I have a 16 year old dog that can no longer use the doggie door!
Also, i agree with Rosa. Chill. This is supposed to be fun. I love leaving comments. Sweetie PI agrees😻
OmG this was all good but the pipe cleaner idea around hangars to keep clothes from falling off is brilliant. Thank you. Great vide.
Linda DeChow my dollar tree now carries velvet hangers 😃
I thought so too but unless you glue them in place they just slide down to the bottom of the hangers, no matter how tightly you wrap them. I had 200 hangers to do and almost all had this problem soon after I did this. I should have glued them when I first did it. I didn't have time or energy to mess with it again. I just went to Walmart and bought thin space saving hangers that are covered in a velvety material. Now no slippage and I have more room in my closet!
hot glue, rubber bands, old news
Sundar सुंदर How do the hangers hold up?
Like this idea
FANTASTIC VIDEO. VERY HELPFUL.
Some good ideas in there!
Excellent, thank you!
Okay. It took til the very end, but I'm a fan for life 💕
Pipe cleaners on my hangers...genius!
Oh Em Ghee..... I did #1 years ago and it works great! A different color for each child 💕😁💕
Wow Your So Creative !!!!🤗 I am Always at The Dollar Tree. And Personally I Think it's #1 of The Best Ideals Someone Has Ever Thought of 🤔💗👍
Thanks for sharing these tips!
My mom made Christmas wreaths with wire hangers using different colors of yarn and adding details ! I remember her doing that in 80s ! She sold a bunch !
PS Ms. Rebecca Manship, I am so using that great tip for coffee filters under my planters!!!! Thank you!

I know I've watched this before, but there are some ideas here that are really useful that I'd forgotten.
Tip #25: Get a SpaceBag. Use it... as the manufacturer intends.
Brilliant.
loved them
Thanks for the addvice. These better than anything. Your so right
I'm definately going to try the homemade grill! That is perfect for apartment dwellers like myself.
Great ideas! Your videos are ALWAYS exceptionally well-made & helpful! Keep up the great work! :)
A need of hot glue on hangers stops them from slipping too
So does duct tape, haha jk
30 seconds into the video, I’m already saving the video to my playlist.
Cool ideas! The placemats in the fridge is an excellent idea!
