DR. HEATHER KETCHUM.....YOUR LECTURES ON THE IMMUNE SYSTEM IS BY FAR THE BEST AND MOST COMPREHENSIONABLE ON THE INTERNET. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING. EVERYTHING ABOUT YOUR LECTURES ARE PERFECT. YOUR VOICE, THE RATE OF VOICE, THE PITCHES, YOUR ANALOGIES. MY ONLY REGRET WAS PAYING $160 FOR CLASS TEXT. HAD I FOUND YOU BEFORE, I WOULD OF DONATD THE $ TO YOUR SCHOOL. THANK AGAIN.
After wasting whole day i didn't find even a single good lecture of immunity...but then i found you...you have no idea how much you have helped me...thank you so much🥺❤️❤️❤️
Best video. Straight to the point, very easy to understand. My professor is so difficult to understand regarding APII, just reads the slides and nothing more.Reading the text is not enough for me, the visual aspect of your video and your detailed explanation is amazing. Thank you so much for putting the time in to teach us.
Hello, by far, you had taught me alot on the subject "Immune System". I have my school notebook and has been writing all the things you write and draw. I plan on being an Immunilogist when I grow up, so I'm preparing by watching your vids and reading about human bodies, lymph nodes and such. Thank you so much for teaching us and you teach in a fun way. (Btw, for those who are wondering how old I am, I'm 9 years old.)
I LOVE this lecture. It helps in clearing so many doubts and confusions and the flowcharts are of a great help in understanding the sequence of events happening. Thanks a lot for such guidance :)
This is awesome...Thank you so much.. It is only now that I understood what innate immunity is.. Thank you so much. I hope you keep making videos like this and help students understand the subject well!
Excuse me, I think I saw a mistake. At 7:43, the picture shows that the fluid flows INTO THE CAPILLARY. But I think that what makes smelling happen is the outflow of fluid that go INTO THE INTERSTITIAL FLUID. I'm not sure so please check that and tell me what is right please! Anyway, thanks you so much for the high quality video!
This video was awesome thank you very much! Your voice is sometimes sharp and a little annoying but others it's cute and high pitched. So, all-in-all I like your voice it's far more pleasant to listen to than monotone or overly energetic voices. What I'm saying is: your voice is fine! 😁
This is an amazing overview of the innate immune system. You did an excellent job at covering some of the important features and the animation that went along with it was great as well. Keep up the good work and create more videos like this. :)
Today, August 2021, we now know that the B and/or T Cell antibodies are not lasting as long as we hoped in the Fall we may need boosters, per Pfizer and Moderna and the others.
Ppl are so mean and stupid instead of thanking her for explanation and her hard work they talk about her voice if you don’t have sm nice to say then keep it to yourself and watch another video.
All viewers of this video, please note that it is the COMPLEMENT system and not the COMPLIMENT system. We all need COMPLEMENT for an effective immune system; and I would like to COMPLIMENT Janux on this video, except for the spelling errors... if in doubt check in a dictionary or physiology glossary.... SPELL IT RIGHT! not write, and not wright....
MUniversity yes indeed! It is really not very difficult to put the correct words into your work. to understand the difference, say, between "complement" and "compliment". Especially coming from someone who is supposed to be quite learned about the subject of which they speak! As you said, when in doubt, there are always references which one can check or double check, as the case may be, to make damn sure that what they are presenting to the public is accurate & free from at least glaring mistakes!
Great information. I have a question on antibodies and viruses. I know antibodies are proteins and so are viruses. They use the proteins of the host cell to replicate. So, like you said, if the virus can't use that host cell , it will die. Why is it that from other readings, it says that antibodies last forever and that viruses aren't living organisms so they can't be "killed " due to viruses not being active until it invades a cell. Two different information being given which is conflicting and confuses me . Thank you
mera immune system kafi kamjor tha…..main kuch v khata tha mujh pachta nhi tha. But jab se maine planet Ayurveda ka immune care Pack lena start kia hai. Mujhe kafi Fark dikh rha hai… Ab mujhe khaya hua pachne v lga hai…Aur mera immune system kafi acha ho gya hai.

This a very didactic video on innate immune system, but there is a major mistake: there is not exist a "compliment system", but a "COMPLEMENT system".
This is awesome...Thank you so much.. It is only now that I understood what innate immunity is.. Thank you so much. I hope you keep making videos like this and help students understand the subject well!

Additionally, the process by which a cell bursts is LYSE not LYCE, as written in the video
"This killer cell here is a natural". That line killed me
Appreciate this a lot. This lecture helped me understand A&P of the human body.
