I was at a Foo Fighters show back in 98 where Dave Grohl yelled at a dude for molesting a woman in the crowd. Pointed the guy out and had him removed. I will always respect him!
This happens a lot apparently at festivals and concerts so good on him for drawing attention to the guy
you spelled "power harassment abuse" wrong. oooh c'mon! its so easy and self righteous to encourage the fans against one single mute, defenseless someone, when you are the star of the show, mic in hand knowing it will repercute great in the headlines later on.. thats just stupid to even wosrship shits like this.
Why because he interfered with 39 bodyguards behind him
Lol did you know the foo fighters denied the exsistence of AIDS lol
@@sonnnymacdonald2946 I was just about to say this! They said there was no connection between HIV/AIDS even having a section of their website about it.
Green Day's performance was cut short whilst they were still on stage.
Literally in the middle of a song, without warning, they were told they had 1 minute left to finish up, so Usher could have more time on stage afterwards.
Apparently it was because Usher was late, but I don't know how accurate that part of the story is.
Regardless, I'd be pissed off too.

When Dave Grohl calls out the guy in the stripped shirt I imagined Waldo being the one kicked out.
I kinda hoped they would also mention his most recent confrontation at Sonic Temple where a man in the crowd motioned him to hurry up (he wasn't part of the crew) and Dave went as far to do a mocking death growl and ask if that's what the guy wanted to hear.
Probably why Waldo doesn't want to be found.
Neon Dreamer yeah I wish that would have been in here because it was awesome to watch Dave do his thing!!
@Salem Al Maskari interesting for that lol you got a tumb... Good night
Guess he was tired of looking for waldo
Billie Jo Armstrong's and Dave Grohl's meltdowns make sense. Anyone could lose a temper by idiots.
Yeah. It's not so much a meltdown as it is justified anger.
I kind of understand them all in the moment. Anyone who has ever performed has said something or did something "in the moment" they would never do anywhere else.

Dave Grohl sees fan attacking people: “Get out of my show.”
Billie Joe Armstrong sees a fan attacking people: *”Why don’t you come here you little mohawked motherf---er!! You wanna fight? I’ll fight ya right now!”*

I remember seeing that on here years ago, that was great.
Catulus in Billie’s defence he cares about others that much he is willing to drop kick an attacker
and when gerard way asked the aggressive fan if he could beat gerard in a dance competition
You forgot “while surrounded by security guards” Billie is a jerk, makes fun of other bands for no f**king reason. Hes not a good person.
That little pansy would have got his ads stomped without his security.
To be fair, in Billie Joe’s defense they cut Green Day’s time so that usher can have more time , so they felt disrespected. I’d understand that and he was definitely very drunk during this too. Props to him
Yeah I'd be angry too. I'd rather see Green Day, not much into Usher.
I always wondered what happened for that to transpire but never figured it out til now

Never heard him swear before.
Not kind to the guy who got humiliated in front of the whole crowd. What if he didn't start the fight?
Amazes me how much of an everyday man he is.
Even when he freaks out he doesn't want to offend anyone. Lol

100% Agree , Also come on i Heart Radio it's Green Day !? Green Day freakin' rules !
Elon Musk he comes off like a spoiled brat. I don’t know the specifics
batgurrl imagine how disrespectful it would've been when the time of green day was cut in half
@@batgurrl This event is best known for Green Day lead singer Billie Joe Armstrong losing his temper during the band's performance. Armstrong swore nearly 50 times as he ranted about a lack of engagement from the audience (this also happened with Linkin Park) and Green Day's set being cut to 20 minutes due to Usher receiving 25 extra minutes for his performance.
The band was told about this just prior before going on stage and the timer reminded them over and over "you guys aren't going to play your full show because Usher wants to extend his show and because Usher is much more famous than you guys are we're going to give him his wish!"
Billy had every reason to throw a tantrum.
RastaSaiyaman if that true I would not have blamed him if he threw equipment all over the stage and in what world do Green Day and Usher fans co-exist even. He certainly seemed justified if that is the case
at the end of Billie's meltdown he hell "we'll be back" and one of his most recent posts on Instagram is him stating that they're going to Las Vegas and the hashtah he used was #onemoreminute and they preformed at the iHeartRadio festival
There are several things I love about Green Day. Their friendship is one of them. Anyone who really likes them surely knows that during this time Billie battled with alcohol addiction and was quite wasted here. What I love is how, in spite of knowing that this tantrum he threw was probably gonna cause them some troubles, Mike without any hesitation smashed his guitar too. Tré then proceeded to stop a photographer who rushed to the stage to film it. This makes my heart so happy. I’m not gonna comment on how the producers deserved to be yelled at since it was all said here in the comment section. It was so disrespectfull!
Billie Joe Armstrong: YOU SEE THAT RIGHT THERE I GOT 1 MINUTE!!!!
camera turns and says 1 minutes
I don't think you can call Dave Grohl and Billie Joe Armstrong reaction as freak-outs really
Daved Grohl's 'freakout' was just ejecting a violent asshole, whereas Billie Joe's 'freakout' was just him being a violent asshole.
ellie9311 Billie Joe totally lost his shit of course it was a freakout
Billy’s was a justifiable freakojt
@@Gretchluver1 To be fair got his time cut short.
Billie had a right to rant. Getting cut short, shitty fans who don’t cheer, and just were disrespected, Green Day shouldve gotten the 45 min
I'm not one of those cheery green day fans, I like to listen attentively n let it all sink in as I nod in amazement.
And this is why iHeart radio sucks
Ouch that Courtney Love one hit hard. Imagine trying to perform and seeing someone flash a picture of your best friend/husband/father of your child who was lost to suicide. I can imagine a great deal of emotions were triggered for her
Does she avoid photos of Kurt? Seems strange....
She killed him. That's why she left
Regardless the cause/nature of his death, you wouldn't want to be at work and have someone show up waving around images of people you love(d) who are now dead.
It is disrespectful of that person to bring that sort of thing to her show.
@@LurkerPlus especially if you were the killer that killed him.

My all-time favorite is Bono losing his shit on a fan holding an "SF" sign at a show, then giving a political lecture about why he hates Sinn Féin...not realizing that the "SF" refers to San Francisco, *the city he was performing in*.
Hahahaha
SERIOUSLY, you guys called Billy Joe Armstrong's tirade "Vanity filled?"
- The real reason why he was going off was because the band's set being cut short by half so Usher could extend his set. Green Day was the only punkrock band who played the I heart Radio that day, almost everybody else there were Justin Bieber-ilk pop artists, which is why Billy Joe named him in his speech.
