This is probably true , but the problem is that he just wouldn’t get into the midfield of any of our rivals. He’s a very useful squad player and goal scorer , but he’s not title winning quality.

Definitely should be kept as An important squad/rotation player.
Scott isn't the best United player but we not need every player to be world class we need squad players and ones who perform. He is that player and deserves to stay at United and hope he does but I won't be upset if he does get sold. But if it wasn't for Scotty this season we wouldn't be in the position we are in. We would be 10th or lower. Love his attitude and passion and that he plays for the badge.

Utd rely on him, he’s part of the squad, fans should be trying to create an environment whereby he plays at the highest end of his confidence. Anything less is turning in him. Encourage don’t destroy a player who needs support.

But why though? There has to be squad players. Every big team has them and they have to bee good enough. Ole Gunar Solskjaer was a great forward he could have made a transfer to many teams accross europe where he would have been the first name on the team sheet every week but he decided to stay in the mix where there were 3-4 other world class forwards and fight for the position. Scott could never be a starter in a team that wins the prem but he could be a squad player in one. He could also be an important player in a midtable club such as Fulham or West Ham, i feel like he would prefer to stay home.
Let him go, he is home grown and so selling him helps with the new rules and easy to find someone better for less that you get for him.

No need to watch the answer is obvious, LUCK, the manager completely relies upon it and McTom, he is West Ham and lower level, so can United go all the way and lift the FA cup, with buckets of LUCK maybe, but without LUCK no one expects City not to win it, hopefully McTom is sold in the summer, it will help with the new financial rules, as he is home grown and if we £30 million we can replace with with much better, even from the youth or under 21s, we have need to bring in the sort of players that will help us close the gap, McTom is not a player that can help us do that.
