Jimin has a very unique type of voice and uses a vocal “cry” when he sings , his natural tone is much higher than any of the other vocalists… but he’s not hitting higher notes than jin or jungkook… even v in a relaxed atmosphere hits the same notes that jimin does. I think bc of the whole “feminine” idea that you’re focusing that about him like it somehow correlates to his voice. The person who has the most unique notes that the others can’t hit is V… the fact that he’s the only baritone sets him apart range wise… and jungkook can get close, jin a little bit harder for him and jimin can’t. If you’re hearing high notes in the songs it doesn’t mean that it’s jimin lol jungkook is the main vocalist bc of his vocal stability, pitch and how he is able to mimic other sounds and add vocal colors and textures into his voice based on the style of the song… jungkook sings and how relaxed he is to hit these notes is something that’s shocking to people.. he hits any note in his range with such ease… but he has an extremely good ear for music and hearing him imitate all the others is insane… it’s so crazy to hear live.
Around 8:15, that’s actually Jin and his range with high notes is also insane. Jin is more so of a belter using his head voice a lot whereas Jimin is kind of a mixture with his head voice and mid register. When you learn more about them you’ll be able to hear the differences within their voices.
Actually the notes at 8:18 were done by Jin. His upper range is honestly insane and probably one of the most stable in the group when it comes to high notes, especially when it comes to chest notes. He even hit several G6s for the background vocals in some of their songs before, which is honestly crazy for a male, even as a tenor. His upper range is actually more in line with female tenors in terms of just how high he can go
Now that you saw that 'save me' on the glass which read 'I'm fine' upside down, you're ready to react to their performance and lyrics of Save Me and I'm Fine :-). I love the 2 songs, and you will too.. :-)
One thing you might find interesting, which I never realized until I saw some of the lives of this song, is that the choreography is based on the guys being marionettes, and they also use the Hear no evil, See no evil, Speak no evil gestures. Both of these ideas fit perfectly with the theme of Fake Love. This song is a great example of how their choreography often tells a story as well.
*19:05** you can see "SAVE ME" but if you read upsidedown it will become "IM FINE" and bts have SAVE ME AND IM FINE* song, its connected but Im fine have no MV OFFICIAL just LIVE PERFORMANCE :) Edit *THERE's NO CGI here btw :) ALL YOU CAN SEE HERE IN VIDEO ARE REAL. THE WATER, THE FIRE AND WHEN JUNGKOOK RUNNING ITS REAL*
I am so impressed with both of you! Finally, young men discussing toxic masculinity - BTS has done so much for exposing toxic masculinity (so damaging to women and men)!
This is what we were talking about when we said "no cgi". We have here little use of cgi and lots of pratical effects with entire sets built. It's impressive
I was waiting for you to catch that line, "I grew a flower that couldn't bloom in a dream that can't come true" and you didn't disappoint me. This is one of our favorite lines of a BTS song, written by RM. There's so much too absorb in this video. In timestamp 18:50, that's Jimin interpreting, "hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil" same with the hands sculpture at the back. The Save Me, is I'm Fine upside down and they have a song titled that, too
There are so many BU references in the mv. Jimin drowning in the tub, yoongi wanting to burn himself in his room, hobi with pills (chocolates), jin going back in time and trying to save everyone, tae calling joon from prison couldn’t get him, jk jumping off of a building.
“Idgaf!” Love it “crush toxic masculinity 2021!” 🖤🖤 Thank you both for your continued support and love for the guys!!!!! Army 💜 and appreciates you both!!!
“Save Me” written on the wall is referencing their song Save Me - earlier in the MV it’s upside down and says “I’m Fine” - which is another one of their songs & is sort of the part 2 / opposite of Save Me ... You should defo watch both!! (There is a live performance of them doing both back to back ruclips.net/video/wu8D3numKlQ/видео.html)
🖤🖤 Ok, I'm still loving that floral print. I appreciate that you're coming back to this song. I did the same after listening to BTS songs at first and went back to the lyrics for this one and others as you get a better appreciation. This particular one is part of the storyline (the extended version) and then you're watching for all the little nuances attached to find clues. You're going to find hate for every single member. Haters will find anything to nitpick. Anything to try to get a reaction of Army. It's just incredibly immature. Some are super nasty though but BIGHIT has an email you can send malicious social media for them to sue the assholes for slander. We report to bighit and report to the platform to shut down profiles. I think you'll really like I Need U (19+) MV. And Blood Sweat and Tears. I Need U is the start of their storyline but its a great MV and song by itself. Blood Sweat and Tears is based off the book Demian by Herman Hesse. It's about the chaos within you and the struggle of temptation within you. Save Me.....flip it and it's I'm Fine....they have songs for both Save Me and I'm Fine. After BTS, I keep expecting all performers to be at their level now, and its gotten to the point that I actually have a hard appreciating their art. I have to get out of the impressiveness of BTS and find good or great things about that performance.
This song is about loving yourself, they are talking to themselves. Save Me is written on the wall where V is with all the cell phones lit up. If you flip the writing of SAVE ME on the wall it says I'M FINE. 2 of the songs on this album. Cool, huh? The flower seen throughout is the Esmeralda flower - from a story. Of course, there is no such flower. but it drys up blows away then reappears with JK at the water wall... This flower shows up in a lot of their mvs. All the scenes with each member have a fake back story - such as Jhope's story where the mother left him at a merry-go-round with a snickers candy bar to comfort him... you get the picture. Look up the stories that go with each individual
If you guys don't know bts have a fictional character storyline inside each of their mv alot of bts mv connecting to each other, it's called 'BTS B.U' aka bts universe
The interesting fact is that in all of they're MV they use almost no CGI, all the explosion in they're MV are real for example, in the behind the scene they show it all. They're so crazy
for me its more deep then just change yourself for somebody, becouse even to yourself you can give that fake love , and people don't even realise it .. if the love you give to yourself doesn't made you wanna be a better person , don't make you wanna do you best , be happy but don't harm yourself , like a lot of artist out there fall into , they say they wanna be themselves , but they harm themselves with drug and averything that make they lose themselves , so even to yourself you can give that fake love .. if that love don't make you wanna be better for yourself then it fake love .. the worse toxic relationship ever it's to yourself
It’s one of my all-time fav lines as well! I think you would also enjoy listening to Baepsae, Go Go, and Anpanman. They seem like fun songs and they are, but they have great meanings too. 💜🖤
If you ever do start doing the storyline y’all are gonna be all out of order 😂 but it’s fine the rest of us are also confused even with knowing what it’s about so good luck wether it’s on or off camera🖤
i love you guys so much and i've been waiting for you to notice my bias - jin. i love all seven but jin's voice hits me a lil more. ☺️ i'll wait for you to check out the vocal line. jimin is absolutely a great vocalist... so are the others. they all have insane ranges. maybe you can check out epiphany, just to hear jin a bit more. 💜
Oh I'm so glad you guys reacted to this song again. I think Fake Love is a masterpiece. I didn't think so at first, but the more time that passes, the better and more meaningful the song becomes.
The other really cool thing is that they aren’t just talking about romantic relationships but also being the perfect child for your parent and any relationship with someone you respect but they don’t feel the same
Thank you so much for giving us this awesome reaction again. This just became one of my fav places here in RUclips 🤭 BTW, Army, let's keep on streaming Butter official MV. Join the last 24 hours of it's tracking week.🙆
That part on 19:26 where you saw the writings on the glass which says "save me" that is one of their songs as well, and if you rotate it downwards, the message changes into "i'm fine" and it's also one of their songs. Their like, all connected... That is what makes their songs more meaningful and cool. Because they're so deep and they make sure to connect each songs that has their own storyline.🥰🥰🥰
@17:35 I shed a tear too the first time I saw this part 😢 -he had to let that ‘love’ go (flower petals) so that he could walk his own path (take the hero’s journey to find himself) when the chamber opened through the waterfall. And the “Save Me” is an ambigram. If you flip it says “I’m Fine”. Save Me and I’m Fine are both songs from BTS and usually performed together during performances-the songs are linked and addresses depression and mental health..what we present on the outside “I’m Fine” although on the inside we need help “Save Me”.
I appreciate and trust your decisions concerning your BTS journey! I am here for it! I used to dance so I am continuously impressed with the choreo and the outfits. The movement is so particular in BTS's MV's and performances. Funny how you were mentioning criticism towards Jimin's voice and this MV can be read as fake love from 'fans' towards them. The screens on the black walls, like people hiding behind their phones and spreading hate anonymously! 🖤
Love your reaction and lyric analysis. As many ppl suggested, you should look into the alternative Bangtan Universe (BU) storyline bc what is going on in the video may not be what the lyric is about. This video is a part of the BU. I'm not the best person to make any suggestions on where to start on the BU. But as I understand it, BTS made MVs, manhwa (Korean for manga), games, and short films that are dedicated to the BU storyline. There are lists online that tell you where to start, if you want to go down this rabbit hole. This is just a suggestion.
🖤 I love your reactions! Don’t be afraid of pausing as many times as you want. Your observations are always interesting. Can’t wait for you to react to 'Blood, Sweat & Tears', 'Serendipity', and 'Agust D'
TV of Ziah TV is going to be traveling?? It’s okay CGI him in. 🤪🤣😂 Also yes your reactions are nice 👍🏻. I like your thoughts on the BTS videos. I heard this once and I quote it often. “When you first meet someone. You meet their representative.” Ponder that 🤔 💭 🖤
This one has an explanation video! Also, the song Epiphany is kind of an answer to this song, but you should watch a live performance with subtitles rather than the music video, because the live performance has an extra verse. Plus, in the live performance Jin plays the piano.
you should react to outro her! its a rap line song and its from the love yourself: her album, whihc was the album that had DNA in it. it came out before the album with fake love on it, and outro her is kind of foreshadowing the fall of the relationship which is interesting because that whole album included songs with happier approaches to love, and for it to end on a sad note it acted as a prelude to fake love. i would love to see your reaction to it!! hope you guys are doing well!!
Ziah TV please read! This is one theory of the connection between the Fake Love MV and other works from their 2017 Wings Album. The psychology rings true...I have a masters in clinical psychology.
You still doesnt know BTS until you react to Spring Day 😁. It is the queen of BTS song. Please react to the MV and MV explanation by Bulletproof Vibes. You wont be able to guess whats the song really about until you see the explanation.
Your interpretation is surely legit, but it's interesting to notice that Fake Love can be applied to every type of love (for example, J-Hope was talking about his love for his mother - in the BIU to be clear-), or the relationship between singers and fandom etc. You should watch the behind the scene of Fake Love, you ould love it! (Also, I reiteraite that you should watch BTS' lives at MAMAs, starting from the 2016 full show: you would go crazy for it!).
your reactions are amazing!! i love how long and detailed they are and how you really break it down line by line and frame by frame - it really does justice to the beautiful lyricism and visuals in BTS mv's!!
Every scene means something important to each member. The one that breaks my heart the most is J-Hope. He's lying in a bed of Snickers. When he was a child his mom abandoned him in an amusement park all by himself with only a snickers.
I am an older Army, and I don't know if you will see my comment, but I genuinely enjoy your reaction videos of BTS. I can't wait until you react to Spring Day, it always makes me cry. You would have to watch an explanation video for it. I have a bad memory or I'd let you know which explanation video it was. Hopefully, a younger Army or one with a better memory will comment and let you know. Anywho, thank you for your videos! 💜🖤💜🖤
May I recommended to watch MMA and MAMA music awards show from 2016-2020. Trust me, you will never be disappointed with bts a amazing performances. It's the greatest live performance of bts and it better then Grammy awards.
You guys talk so much about Jimin’s voice I think it’s time to react to one of his solos. I recommend Serendipity (the full version because the MV one is a shorter one). You’ll fall in love with his voice even more
Hii guys!! you are doing amazing job breaking down the lyrics and coming to your own conclusions. I have not seen many reactions talking about the lyrics. Since you brought up singularity in the context of fake love, I think it would be great if you look up the songwriter before the reaction. Most of the time the members have participated in the process. Like singularity and Fake love both are RM's work. Just knowing who wrote the lyrics might help in understanding their personalities better. The boys do deserve a lot more appreciation for their lyrics. Keep doing this the way you do. All the best...
Yes it was Save me and if you rotate the words it sais I'm Fine So it would be great if you could react to Save me song and next I'm fine - they connect narratively
🖤 also i really felt this analysis in the black depths of my soul, i was in an abusive relationship for 6 years and when it ended (he actually left me for someone else), I was so lost because I didn't know who I was anymore. My husband helped me find my true self and he's always encouraging me to pursue things I like and be myself
I have always had a take on this song which differs from that of most commenters which seem to either emphasize a relatively literal interpretation of the lyrics or who are proponents of the video's BU connections. To me Fake Love is a bridge song between the Love Yourself and Map of the Soul Eras. In a number of MOTS songs, the individual is confronted by painful realization that his or her Persona which felt like a full measure of self being is not one's self but rather is a construction. One's Persona is built on a base which both consciously and unconsciously has avoided by repression certain aspects of the Psyche, tucking them subconsciously in what Jung groups together as the Shadow. These almost invariably leak out, especially as one's Persona grows exposing the falseness of the constructed Persona to a reality that what one is loving as oneself is fake. In Fake Love you hear much lamentation that what they so wished to protect and nurture cannot be viewed the same way as before. How can one love oneself if the oneself one has been loving never was the real oneself which involves the entire Psyche. They have been loving a fake construct and becoming deeply invested in it. However as is seen in MOTS there is a process of individuation which though difficult and painful will be a path to loving one's true self. Jungkook in the close of this mv walks through the carnaged room to meet the parts of himself he has never confronted. He has started going through the individuation by throwing away the fake love to find himself. This theory is neither right nor wrong but I throw it out there to say no this song is not about love of another person in my estimation. This is a Love Myself song.
That's a good theory. I love how their songs are open to interpretation. I personally see this song as commentary on their love for music/art. If you replace the "lover" with music, like in BS&T, you're able to see them talking about the struggle of not losing themselves in their art.
Thanks for this reaction! I really appreciate all the work and time you both put into these reactions! 🖤 Have you guys reacted to any of the vocal lines solo songs besides V’s singularity? If not, I recommend Jin’s Awake or Abyss, V’s(Aka Taehyung) Stigma or Winter Bear, Jimin’s Lie or promise and Jungkook’s Begin or Still with you!
Did you know SUGA broke many records today?😊 his Daechwita MV is the most liked MV of 2020 by a soloist globally, he is #1 Korean Male soloist with the highest monthly listeners on Spotify and he became fastest Korean soloist who suprassed 11 million likes on youtube
🖤🖤 i hope you'll get to check "Save Me" and "I'm Fine". There's so much more within the story arcs of their songs and it will definitely impress you further. Waiting for more videos guys! Oh, and maybe some live performances soon?!?!? 💜💜

just additional info, the phrase 'save me' on the wall, when you turned it upside down it says 'i'm fine'

It was Jin not Jimin! You just haven't heard how high Jin's notes are😊💜 His voice is just incredible😍
i was about to type the same luckily saw your comment

Around 8:15, that’s actually Jin and his range with high notes is also insane. Jin is more so of a belter using his head voice a lot whereas Jimin is kind of a mixture with his head voice and mid register. When you learn more about them you’ll be able to hear the differences within their voices.

Yeah, BTS have even commented on Jin’s range!
G6?! When and where, bc 🤯🤯🤯
In the minute 8:18 the one singing was Jin, he vocal range is amaizing!
Now that you saw that 'save me' on the glass which read 'I'm fine' upside down, you're ready to react to their performance and lyrics of Save Me and I'm Fine :-). I love the 2 songs, and you will too.. :-)

8.30 that was Jin with the vocals not jimin.. Actually all of them can stretch their voices and go high or deep... They are just so talented.
BTS's song "The Truth Untold" is a companion song to the "Fake Love" hypothesis.
Jin is the king of high notes bro🔥🔥🤙🤙
"i grew a flower that can't be bloomed in a dream that can't come true." one of my favourite bts lyrics ever. it's art i'm telling you.... art.
I am so impressed with both of you! Finally, young men discussing toxic masculinity - BTS has done so much for exposing toxic masculinity (so damaging to women and men)!

That line with the flower is just one of a kind BTS lyrics. If I'm not mistaken, it was RM who penned that. Beautiful (but sad) imagery indeed.
I love how open mind, mature and intelligent you're guys. You're comments are always on point. BTS deserves this kind of reactors! 💜💜
It was Jin not Jimin.. Jin do the high notes and Jimin do the angelic voice. ✌

Also yes your reactions are nice 👍🏻. I like your thoughts on the BTS videos.
I heard this once and I quote it often. “When you first meet someone. You meet their representative.”
Ponder that 🤔 💭
🖤
Lmfao I love this comment so much 💜
This one has an explanation video!
Also, the song Epiphany is kind of an answer to this song, but you should watch a live performance with subtitles rather than the music video, because the live performance has an extra verse. Plus, in the live performance Jin plays the piano.
I love the live version because of when Armys sing along with Jin
The guy on the left though... you single? Lmao 🤣
Lmao thanks but I am taken 😊
Idk why but I can’t wait for you two to react to “run” and “i need you” so then you can get in bu
Yall never disappoint!!!💜🖤💜🖤💜🖤
loveeee the bts videos keep em coming
you should react to outro her! its a rap line song and its from the love yourself: her album, whihc was the album that had DNA in it. it came out before the album with fake love on it, and outro her is kind of foreshadowing the fall of the relationship which is interesting because that whole album included songs with happier approaches to love, and for it to end on a sad note it acted as a prelude to fake love. i would love to see your reaction to it!! hope you guys are doing well!!
Ziah TV please read! This is one theory of the connection between the Fake Love MV and other works from their 2017 Wings Album. The psychology rings true...I have a masters in clinical psychology.
Again again again bts
Please React to BTS UGH Lyrics & Live Performance 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Im sure you guys will Love it
That’s not Samsung advertisement tho… It’s part of story line.
Back then, BTS was LG phone ambassador. Yes, its part of storyline but they used LG phones.
@@snisa92 They never advertised anything in their official music videos. If any marks are visible, it is only to tell a story.
Subscribed for the conversation about toxic masculinity.
You still doesnt know BTS until you react to Spring Day 😁. It is the queen of BTS song. Please react to the MV and MV explanation by Bulletproof Vibes.
You wont be able to guess whats the song really about until you see the explanation.
And the dance practice that shows the beautiful choreography no one ever sees anymore since they don’t perform it like the old days.
Finally, Thank you guys
Love the reaction! If you can, please do the behind the scenes too. It made me appreciate their production so much
the most objective reaction that I ever heard for fake love
Every scene means something important to each member. The one that breaks my heart the most is J-Hope. He's lying in a bed of Snickers. When he was a child his mom abandoned him in an amusement park all by himself with only a snickers.
His fictional character in the BU
I am an older Army, and I don't know if you will see my comment, but I genuinely enjoy your reaction videos of BTS. I can't wait until you react to Spring Day, it always makes me cry. You would have to watch an explanation video for it. I have a bad memory or I'd let you know which explanation video it was. Hopefully, a younger Army or one with a better memory will comment and let you know. Anywho, thank you for your videos! 💜🖤💜🖤
Back then, BTS were LG phone ambassador. So, its LG phones. But its still part of storyline.
Plsssswatvh Vs solo SINGULARITY. I love ur reaction
I love ur reaction, and pls react to their LIVE PERFORMANCES its more impressive! Im waiting! 😊
May I recommended to watch MMA and MAMA music awards show from 2016-2020. Trust me, you will never be disappointed with bts a amazing performances. It's the greatest live performance of bts and it better then Grammy awards.
Save Me says I'm Fine when turned upside
You guys talk so much about Jimin’s voice I think it’s time to react to one of his solos. I recommend Serendipity (the full version because the MV one is a shorter one). You’ll fall in love with his voice even more
Thank you for another BTS reaction! 🖤
Love your reactions. Will be amazing to see you guys reacting to blood sweet and tears because this one is.... 💜💜
Hii guys!! you are doing amazing job breaking down the lyrics and coming to your own conclusions. All the best...
it's amusing watching the perspective of someone who doesn't know BU
You've become a part of my daily routine.. for me it's early morning when i watch your vedio .. and i do really like it .. thanks 🖤
Yes it was Save me and if you rotate the words it sais I'm Fine
So it would be great if you could react to Save me song and next I'm fine - they connect narratively
Yaaaaaasssss!!!!!!!! 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
please watch the fake love explained because thise is connected to thier bts universe story line
Thanks for this reaction! I really appreciate all the work and time you both put into these reactions! 🖤
Have you guys reacted to any of the vocal lines solo songs besides V’s singularity? If not, I recommend Jin’s Awake or Abyss, V’s(Aka Taehyung) Stigma or Winter Bear, Jimin’s Lie or promise and Jungkook’s Begin or Still with you!
We’ve reacted to Rm ‘Joke’ and Agust D ‘Daechitwa’ but we will definitely check out the other solo songs!
yes react to save me + im fine live bts come back show
Did you know SUGA broke many records today?😊 his Daechwita MV is the most liked MV of 2020 by a soloist globally, he is #1 Korean Male soloist with the highest monthly listeners on Spotify and he became fastest Korean soloist who suprassed 11 million likes on youtube
🖤🖤 i hope you'll get to check "Save Me" and "I'm Fine". There's so much more within the story arcs of their songs and it will definitely impress you further. Waiting for more videos guys! Oh, and maybe some live performances soon?!?!? 💜💜
