I saw Stephanie on tour in "Chicgao" and fell madly in love with her (those lunges during "All That Jazz" sealed the deal). Even though I'd seen "Fosse", I flew up to NYC just to see her in it (twice). She's the real deal
Fosse choreographed this number originally for Liza Minnelli to sing & dance on her first TV show back in- I think it was 1972. Saw it live then & have it on DVD now. The lady is & was phenominal !
It took place in 1972: they danced and amused while at the same time at thousands of miles far away they intensify heavy bombing over the whole North Vietnam with there giant B52 and other A6 Intruder and F14, they burn cities, villages, jungles and mountains with napalm overnight and disperse there deadly yellow chemical element troughout Lao! Good performance America, pls continue!
Wow, that's interesting. Hopefully you can find a clip of her performing "All That Jazz". You have to see her doing those lunges with those legs of hers, whew!!!
Hello, The lead performer was Stephanie Pope. She was a replacement for the original cast that opened in December 1999. I'm guessing this is from fall/winter/spring 2000/2001
Had to look up Valarie Pettiford for her role of Big Dee Dee, she's amazing. They all did really good. Thank you for uploading this.
The great Valarie Pettiford! Love it!
we used to do across the floors to this song in our high school show choir rehearsals

Her name is Stephanie Pope. I hard that she's about 5 foot, 11 inches tall, mostly legs! Look her up on IBDB.com for her Broadway credits.
Hermoso todo lo que hizo y Dirigió Bob Foose🎉😮❤
VALARIE PETTIFORD!
Stephanie Pope!!
I think that's Val Pettiford singing the lead. Great vocal diction: notice how she enunciates "I'll" be home, instead of "Ah'll" be home. Great job.
not sure if you're still interested, but she is now in the revival of Pippin and she's still amazing!!!
When I saw Liza perform this, I realized she was a real performer
Liza's performance of this was absolutely stunning! She's always been the real deal. :D
She's understudying Patina right now in Pippin she must be so awesome!
A song that dates from 1926s?
Bob Fosse, grande, grande

Thank you. this was from the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade from that year.
+JellicleKat you're welcome!
ralph burns! orchestrations work for everybody-
Is this the macy parade?
:)
Just my opinion, but the dancing is just not as crisp as I would have expected. I expect the dancing would be better on the stage.
Wonder how that female dancer in the middle will be able to use the bathroom while wearing that outfit.
I prefer minnellis version of this song
Where is BEN!!!!!!!!!!
good but I prefer Ben Vereen tough...
I hate that song. Luv the moves , but can't stand the song!
