I suggest a licensed psychologist, social worker, or counselor. More important is the training the professional has in treating complex PTSD. There are different approaches to treating PTSD. Discuss with the professional what is their approach, the number of clients they have treated with their approach, and the training they have received in treating PTSD. @@morbidmusing I was diagnosed with CPTSD years ago, but I'm far enough along in my recovery to sometimes joke about it! Lots of therapy and lots of EMDR really helped.
