Good thing is there's no reason to nerf him. He still has major hitbox and whiffing issues. And useless krushing blows. As well as some the least of the entire cast

I love how on the Kombat Kast, they changed his forceballs that no one used or talked about or even noticed. Yet ignored his lack of good krushing blows. And just lack of in general. Or how his pressure game which is his character type is useless against females because of whiffing issues. It's like they purposely ignore the biggest issues and change shit no one cares about.

If they made his fireballs act the same on the whole cast and not whiff on female fighters and gave him a good KB or two he would be amazing. They could make that jump kick KB he does an overhead and it activates when they are blocking low. That wouldn’t be amazing but that string is worthless as it is right now. I think it would also be interesting if his amplified fireball did a KB. They could make it like Sonya’s or maybe make it so it activates on the third or fourth time you hit them with it
Funny thing is after EVO they gave Cetrion new KB and now Kitana gets new, but Johnny seems to be hated in NRS department, but I am happy with the forceball changes because I believe u can still keep your plus frames after amplifying them, if that is not the case, no-one will pick his 3rd variation.

Better mids better kbs requirements .his fb is 26 frames I believe it wiff so much that u can't juggle and connect it one of the slower fbs in the game .if I was nr I change his f3 to mid. Jezz how Liu Kang have a 9 frame mid Sonya have a10 frame why mi boi don't have none :(
As a noob, it was hard for me to cancel 1,2,1 into shadow kick because I kept accidentally cancelling into straight forceball. Variation 3 solved all of that for me.

the Austin Powers bit was pretty good. On my way to Grand Master, I did see a few Johnnys and I lost as well. He's definitely not bad, but his krushing blows def are terrible. Idea for a series: Try and rank up in KL
I've switched to a mixbox type (arcade stickless with WASD like keys) controller for MK11. It's soooooo much more precise! When I drop a combo now, I know it was my fault, and it wasn't the controller not registering my inputs the way I intended them...
I once fought a Frost who did nothing but jump kick and low poke and also a Noob that only threw projectiles at me. I screamed out of anger. I was able to adapt but I still lost then for the Noob match I forgot to switch to jade after I lost the first match 🙃
I used the nut punch, which is not in variation 2. I just prefer how consistent the distance is. The camera allows for a jump-in, but sometimes the opponent is too close and you jump over them or whiff. That is why I prefer the nut punch :3
KB ideas for johhny cage Escape fail KB for forward throw where on the final hit he breaks your jaw If you land his mime parry 3 times (just like skarlets parry) it will get the krushing blow that is also a launcher with the damage (this is a lot more easy to get than landing it at the start of the game considering that it is pretty easy to land a parry if you know when to do it) The camera flash krushing blow lands on a kounter or punish Nut punch krushing blow lands in a combo of 8 hits or more (like scorpion) The krushing blow breaks their nuts or if they are a female fighter doesn’t and like scorpions does damage over time. Amplified flippy kick krushing blow lands if done three times like amplified sub zero slide KB,the KB breaks their jaw let me know if this is too many or if this list needs more would appreciate it! #JUSTICEFORJOHHNY
Keep nutpunch as a counterhit, use the x-hit combo KB on the camera (same restand properties as the current camera KB). Johnny doesn't need a throw KB since he can combo into it with Showstopper. If he gets a throw KB, it can't be one you can just lock and load and save for whenever you want it. We don't need every tier whore this side of the Sun to switch to Johnny lol
The flippy kick krushing blow should be used. And his Shadow kick should KB like jacquis punch. And his 34u3 should be a safe overhead while 34d3 is a slightly unsafe option for mixups
