Hey y'all, I recorded this vid back in March of this year and just now made the decision to upload it. I've gotten significantly better at the game since then, and I recognize that there are probably far more efficient strategies to this achievement, but I still believe this video was worth sharing as at the time I could not find any videos that showed a method like this. I am hoping to upload videos similar to this, as well as other hoi4-related content, every Sunday morning, and would appreciate any suggestions you all have. Thanks for watching!

So I know this is an older video, but post AAT, getting marines and a few of their special forces doctrines is very doable by constantly exercising the navy. The first tech gives you 5 invasion capacity which is more than enough with loaded marines to get a beachhead. Will save tech time

Following this guide will work in AAT(Nordic’s update).
Change 1: you must directly take Greenland from denmark, otherwise the US will seize it from fascist denmark. Disabling the Scandinavia focus.
Change 2: world tensions gets past 50% a few months sooner, so consider not taking factories and resource rights in sweeden, at 50%+ Norway is able to join the allies. Do also consider using naval invasions to make Norway cap faster(before 50% world tension).
That's a guide on how to make a guide in hoi4, really great man! I'll certainly try it on the weekend.
Since you asked for suggestions I had this idea for exploring possibilities with the darker corners of Bulgaria's focus tree (the best in my opinion), it's not really an achievement, although you'll get some in the making of it, it's more of a scenario run. So, the idea was: using Antasil's guide, form the Balkan federation as Bulgaria, put Tsar Ferdinand back in power, join Germany in WWII, fight the Soviets (by denying Bessarabia) to get the states bordering the black sea, then do the Focus "Bulgaria on the Three Seas" which gives 2 dockyards to any state bordering the Aegean, Black or Adriatic seas that already have one dockyard built. Finally use these dockyards to build a fleet large enough to invade the UK and US and capitulate the Allies, in the peace deal get their fleets and show the world (and the Italian allies) who are the true rulers of the seas.
I had this idea mainly because that focus is insanely broken, by my calculations you can get more than 80 dockyards by it alone if you control the Italian states in the Adriatic and Aegean as well (and build at least one dockyard on each), but even without the Italian states you'll get like 60+ dockyards with one single focus.
So, my sad story, I tried to do this a couple times but my 2k hours in hoi4 don't mean I'm a good player, in my best run I faced defeat when at war with the Soviets the Italians let the British invade the Dodecanese and use it to place like a whole army in Anatolia, when I realised and sent an army to counter it the British naval invaded again behind my lines (yes, in the panic I took off my garrison from the other ports XD) and managed to encircle a good portion of my divisions, I then tried to retreat to the Balkans but for some reason I don't understand (probably a bug) my armies in the Caucasus were trying to return home through the Soviet territory, ignoring that I had complete naval dominance in the Black Sea, by the time I saw this there were 21 divisions in one tile on the coast of Georgia, I tried to retreat them but was encircled and lost them all. The few divisions I managed to save and bring back home were soon to be split because I forgot to ban fascism alongside communism and the Italian influence was almost making me go to referendum/civil war (which I didn't want) so I was using all the PP I had to make anti-fascist propaganda and institute press censorship, but then came the Fatherland Front, giving already 20% communist popularity, 0.2 daily increase and a big debuff to political power, so I was lost because no way I'd find PP to counter the fascists, communists and democrats (the Petorkata focus give 0.05 daily democracy support) and avoid a civil war, so I gave up...
So, that's it, I just commented because I really liked the guide and you asked for suggestions and I thought it would be fun to see someone doing what I failed to accomplish, some people might like the idea as well... Anyway, as I said, great video man, best regards from Brazil!

heeey, good video, i can suggest you that you can push with all your units in Letonia so they can´t reinforce the "main attack".
i either had strikes or the draft thing i had a perfect run and that blew everything almost every time😭

Is is even possible to do it this way without by blood alone and your enemies navy?
I was able to do it prior to BBA coming out by just spitting out submarines after you take out Latvia and Lithuania. Since the Swedish AI eventually withdraws their navy you only need a single ship to project supremacy in order to launch the naval invasion.

It took me 16 tries to not get a civil and get the 40% support for the browns, war and the probability of one not happening was always between 49 and 66% :(
edit: I just calculated it and this shouldnt happen in 99.8% of cases

I always get mutinies and I can never figure out how to deal with them, they almost never go away, and they mess up my invasion of Sweden.
Edit: I just had an amazing run after commenting this, the only downside being the German volunteers capitulated Sweden before I got my War goals
I get them pretty much the second I invade latvia, its so annoying cause it messes up the finland thing
Yeah that part is pretty RNG unfortunately. Could always rush radio research to be able to do radio propaganda as soon as you declare war, as well as saving PP for war propaganda. Won’t get you above 50% war support but it’s slightly better odds
I ended up not getting the high command right away and that seemed to work, but I might've just had good RNG those few runs.@@KartoHOI4

@@KartoHOI4 I would much enjoy a China achievement guide, as the ones I have found are either old or not descriptive or maybe I was just dumb trying it then as I have not attempted again for awhile now ( The Achievements Awake And Angry / Romance of the Three Kingdoms preferable in the same run)

Oh dang really? That’s very strange, I’ve never had that happen. Watched a friend do the run several times last week and Finland accepted every time. Did you make sure to enter Finland’s civil war directly via event, rather than choosing the option to just send volunteers? I’ve never tried the volunteer option so I’m unsure if that has any affect on it
sweeden never withdrew their navy and kept naval invading me I also never got finlands navy because they flipped peacefully
nevermind I tried it again on the same save in it worked weird
@@Noah4.2yeah hoi4 is weird and sometimes the AI will do strange things. Glad to hear it worked the second time around
This guide was shit. You completely left out the part about how you'll still be at war with Iceland when Denmark capitulates and then they join the Allies and then France and the UK will keep naval invading either the islands Norway and Denmark have or Norway and Denmark themselves which will lock you out of the Estonia is Scandinavia focus.
This guide was made long before AAT came out, I didn't leave anything out, that just wasn't a mechanic when I was making the video. Evidently AAT has made this achievement considerably more difficult, so I may look into making an updated guide
