Makes me think of Lionels video after the Colin doping saga, when he talks about walking in Kona and that learning how to deal with adversity, rather than winning at any price, is the real utility of doing sports. Kudos to you for sharing the story in a such a good way. Winning or having a touch day out, you're always a great inspiration!
"i enjoy the process." I can identify heather. Sometimes i feel like when im getting a workout in before the world wakes up I've stumbled onto something special that few get to experience. Race day is just a victory lap. Can't wait to see you up in lake placid this summer. You prob don't remember by you high fived me on the last mile in 2022 to get me over the finish line for my first IM. Looking forward to racing again in july. AND turning my little girls loose on the kids race. Little Haydens. watch out! haha Love your channel, love your approach to training, racing and living. Good luck on your next event. You rock HJ. -Eric
always helpful to hear someone say that it is all a learning process towards the bigger goals. i get caught in the immediate results and forget the bigger goals, etc. thanks for your honesty. racing is fun, but there are so many factors, aren't we glad that it ain't all about those dang results!!
Great stuff for us watching to learn that experience and champions come through real hard work, pain, frustration bad luck and the odd mistake. I'm confident I'll see you and your team when all this stuff comes together.... soon. Such an inspiration, thank you..
You are such a badass, Heather. I am so proud of you! Onwards and Upwards for you and Watty...See you in Leadville again...God Bless you, you studette! Loyal fan for many years!

Starting poorly on the season with lots of room to go is better than starting strong and having little improvement. Things can only get better.
Great effort.! You are learning so much through the adversity. Hope that you are proud of your accomplishments. Good luck with your upcoming events!

Best laugh in the sport😉
Freaking Viking!!
how do you avoid getting totally bored on those flat roads?
You should go out and lace up the skates! I think it will do you some good! Bring the noise to Leadville!
What's the longest run and bike you ever done?
R u doing gravel locos?
racing unfortunately happens, not sure about the tri bars??? UCI would not allow
PLEASE come back to Ironman we miss you there!
You biked 5 hours at Lake Placid which is incredible. I don’t understand how you don’t crush these girls . Are they that good? Younger?
I think it was wrong place wrong time in this case (back luck for Heather) :(
Hoping for a better race next time!
Pros need a separate start
You are a badass💯
