Would love a update on the female firefighter from the first day as a firefighter vid from 4 years ago
Yes
That would be cool
She makes an appearance in the latest video! She's an RTO now (Recruit Training Officer)
Yes!
@@bm7151 she’s a RTO now
This is without a doubt one of the coolest stations and channels.
We need a day in the life of the tech rescue firefighters
hard to do since its not confirmed if they have a tech rescue call unless they do a training but its kinda a hard thing to do
There really is no such thing as a dedicated tech rescue firefighter. They are additionally trained in that particular aspect. Tech rescues do not happen all that often.
My dad was on Boston Fire Rescue 1 for many years. They are a technical rescue as well. Funny to see their T shirt there!
Can you do a video that shows the switching of shifts ?? Please
Great idea!
Am pretty sure the workouts were staged due to 10 pounds compared to heavyweight
Good looking fire station like the style way to go your service is deeply appreciated thanks take care. Joe
nice to hear some German language touched words being spoken out as well... (5:12 when you know what I mean) 😉
greetings from Lower Austria and thx for the vid
Awesome! Been waiting for this Station Saturday, 34’s is my favorite since it’s a rescue station!
Absolutely Outstanding video!
You can tell how much pride these guys have!
Awesome station as a sister to a firefighter always be safe and enjoy your day ❤️🚒
Any possible way to purchase a company shirt ?
So when you say you watch training videos you mean watching emergency right?🤷🏼♂️
Do each of the district chiefs have there own office/bedroom along that long hallway in the beginning part of the video or are they shared between the shifts? It’s remarkable the planning that went into some of your station design. Operational and practical!
I know this might be a bit random but. I was wondering if I wanted to join SMFR how would I do it, because I live in the UK also what age can I join because I am 16 at the moment?
Here's a link to our website that should help answer your question on job requirements and qualifications- www.southmetro.org/411/Firefighter-Careers
Nice. IAFF 4173, sure wish I was still working...NOT!
Great video guys thanks👌
You all deserve every luxury, while you are waiting for your calls!
You have a beautiful second home!
Thank you for the tour, i’m from Maryland, it was great to see.
Thank you for your service
You are my Hero’s!
It’s that time again,
Guess the next station Saturday.
Only one guess per person good luck
I guess station 38
Station 44
Station 20
Station 15
Oooh I got it lolz, I even meant to put 28
Can you name the radiostrap?
That was really cool thanks so much
Ricky P. Nicely done.
Hey Eric ( or Lauren) I know this go’s is back a while but I was just watching the hazmat 38 Fleet Friday video and at the end of the video I saw a yellow vehicle in the bay next to engine 38 I was wondering what that vehicle is, if it’s still in service and if it is still in service we could get a fleet Friday on it. My guess is that it may be a rehab unit somewhere to rehab 12?
The yellow vehicle was Rehab 12 back then and was temporarily at Station 38 while Station 12 was having some concrete work done. It was replaced by the vehicle that is shown in the Rehab 12 Fleet Friday and the old vehicle is no longer with South Metro.
@@Spitfire8520 thanks!
Awesome :)
What an intro, lol.

Another great station from South Metro
Thank you!
Hmm! OK then amazing walk through tour of station #34! 😉
One of those red shirts on the wall, was one of them Tri-Beach fire?? it looked like it but i couldn’t read it, i plan on volunteering there this summer
Thank you and God Bless all who serve🙏🏼❤️💪🏼
Hi please can you do another 'a day in the life of a firefighter' vid because I would like to see if there are any updates. Please. Thank you for your great channel
Nice station and tour. Love those single sleeping quarters. FFs are notorious for chainsaw snoring. Can’t remember the term you used but not a fan of one crew staffing 2 units. We call it single pull and it can be a real pain. Be safe 👍
Ring back the fleet Fridays!
Firehouse 34 Rescue Rats
Hi
Its been a while since you guys have did fleet friday can you do one
South Metro Fire Rescue No. 34 Rescue Rats
That bit in the gym made me spit out my water 🤣🤣🤣
When the table is done you guys should do a video about it
Why would you not have a full time crew on the rescue ?? I can see crossing over for a hazmat truck but not a rescue and rescue should roll for every structure, every auto accident and every type of rescue period .
As SMFR's response plans are currently configured, Rescue 34 was needed 62 times during all of 2021. That call volume doesn't justify having a staffed Rescue and Aerial at Station 34. That being said, Rescue 34 and Tower 34 are both being replaced by a Rescue Tiller which has been ordered from Pierce Manufacturing. Having equipment from both apparatus combined into one unit will eliminate the need to cross-staff. South Metro operates 5 additional aerials across the district which are well equipped for vehicle accidents that require extrication. A single Rescue unit that would respond to every traffic collision across South Metro's 300 square mile district would be ineffective.
I love @South Metro.
When will the next PIO Vlog be?
We don't have an exact date yet- but stay tuned!
Thank you Kim Connor Eric and Lauren can’t wait for station 34 station Saturday from your friend kyle
An update from the first female would be AWESOME. Great idea!!
