I also have a Chuwi, larkbook x. I use it as second ultra portable laptop and i find it is excellent for this purpose. I has a wonderful 2k touch screen display and build quality is way better than expected
Affordable and good build quality are two things that are hit or miss. This laptop is really cool, very utilitarian: all the ports you need, no dock needed, don't need to pry the whole bottom of the laptop to upgrade. I think this would've been a 10/10 if it came equipped with 16gb but with value like that, it's hard to argue. I think Dell and HP would have competition if these were mass sold to schools etc. Although, I think branding as in software/OEM support holds this laptop back at least in the western market, I'm assuming. 9:56 I'm pretty sure the call went: "WTH, WHY WOULD YOU PLAY AAA GAMES ON A NON-GAMING LAPTOP, WHAT A WASTE OF TIME"
touchpads are normally shifted left with the keyboard, so your hands just move down to use it. did you find the centered touchpad was better? or was it awkward for your hand movement to move to the right to use it? i like the hatches for the ram/ssd, very cool.
Yooo I had a Chuwi miniPC come into my shop once. It was a standard MiniPC like most other chinese ones but man once I looked at the retail price... Makes me wonder why Chuwi is not more well known in the budget space.
It's disappointing that the screen is worse in the 15.6 Corebook X compared to the 14 Corebook X, that one is 99% srbg and 2160x1440 resolution, this one is 70% srbg and 1920x1080 resolution with lower nits too
WTF? I mean...WHAT THE FRELL? How did they manage to not have a PrtSc key? WTF!!! Interesting laptop, though perhaps a few too many things that could have been better. Thank you for this review.

I really prefer centered touchpad because I tend to accidently touch them if their too far to the left!

For 500$ we can find i5 12 th gen laptop or amd R5 laptop with better specs.
Depends on where you live. Usually not in Europe. And no way with an all aluminum body and that decent build quality and overall feel.
