Start small! If you're not into the hobby (Mini Painting) - Just pick up a few paints and models and start with the basic tools. As you want to do more stuff you can buy things as you get to them. It's an amazing space to be in - both in general and the peace it can provide.

I just wanted to thank you for Idols. Watching you create it and how well it has done has helped me. I was making my own game for a while and shelved it, working on it every few months when I had a moment. When Idols was being shown off I had to stop because it was too similar in several aspects. I have been reworking some of the gameplay to distinguish itself more and it is turning out better than before.

Painting the 4th marine of the 18 (not doing them in any particular order), a salamander after doing an iron warrior, dark angel and ultramarine.

I've been thinking a bunch about scale lately. Between Conquest: The Last Argument of Kings, which is larger than the 28mm/32mm scale I usually work in, and the idea of 3d printing vast armies of 15mm fantasy critters I'm excited to get into all sorts of different projects... then I joined a 40k league at the FLGS. Oh well, all those sizes can wait I guess. Mutated space elf zombies for me right now. Great video, btw!
