It probably putters along but they also drastically overhauled it from being about a fervent yet overbearing boss akin to michael scott about relationships to being more about the parks department and the comedy that can come with that. the major complaint originally that it was trying to be an office clone, which it sort of was - like office was about these things in first season especially
Ron and Ben tied for favorite. Ron was the only reason season 2 happened.
Chris ruined the show for me good lord he was annoying. Thank God for Ben
