scratch that, the greatest all time best episode of the Good Place is Dance Dance Revolution, and so naturally that cold open is the best. Some of the best lines from Jason "what a stupid age I am" and Kristen Bell doing the over-the-top soap opera acting that people would expect for the "this is not the good place, it's the bad place line". absolute gold

The first episode of season 2 immediately ends the “attempt two” we thought season 2 would be following… and then the third episode ends “attempt three”, before running through *seven hundred and ninety nine more.* All because Michael decided to keep trying after Eleanor’s note. These two episodes kept finding new ways to subvert any and all expectations for the series, completely setting them apart in the process.
Still in the process of introducing every soul I know to this show (so far, everyone’s loved it), and the official channel comes back? I love this show so much, this is some amazing timing! Glad to see the Trolley Problem’s and Time-Knife’s cold opens here! I’ve always seen Michael’s “how do you kill all six” as an iconic moment of the season (especially paired with his amazing drawing), and the “I know, it’s IHOP” high-five might never leave my brain RAM. “But they all look good…” I never get tired of watching these, glad this video exists to appreciate them!

In the age of endless reboots and sequels and directionless shows with no clear end-point, I just want to keep this one show that told the story it wanted to tell in the most creative, engaging, and entertaining way it could have, ending on a high note before it overstayed it welcome. Support the creatives and actors behind this in their new projects and hope we get more shows _like_ The Good Place, but don't ask for more Good Place, because it's already near perfect as is. Anything more will ruin the entire point of the show.
