@@Robert-hz9bj The thing about ego is that it doesn't make sense. Pride and confidence, sure, but ego is inherently illogical. Being shown up THAT badly would be far worse to someone with a big ego, not better.
You know there's nothing more attractive than seeing a guy being confident and in his element, I'm sure Leslie couldn't keep her hands off Ben when he was an accountant 😂😂man was dripping rizz
Ben is easily one of the best written characters ever. On top of that, he wasn’t even an original character but was so perfect that we all liked him immediately.
tbf ben is like the MC to accountants. i mean a young, good-looking guy who's a genius at the job but is also funny( to them). i read mangas with that exact plot

I don't work in this field, but everyone plays a part in someway in making a company they are in some way a part of successful so in that sense everyone working in a field like accounts helps build something so don't feel bad. The best part was April rejecting the potential opportunity at Barney's firm after Ben had done it multiple times all through the previous seasons. Epic writing!
Jokes aside, there's a good argument you should pursue a company that clearly values you like the accounting firm. You may not absolutely love your 9-to-5, but it supports your passions financially and it's clear they would move heaven and earth to accommodate his personal life
These would have been his people if he hadn't met the Parks team. They were written to be perfect for him, his own personal sirens. More stable, productive, happy, accepted, encouraged. Thriving with people who built him up and challenged him with what they couldn't figure out. Would he stagnate or become resentful, or be even happier?
One of the real heroes here is Frank. Once he saw Ben was actually good he completely changed his mind about him. Zero ego. What a trooper.
That’s a great point.
Yeah even during the calzone party his face lit up
Makes sense though. Ben wasn't just regular "good." He was "solve a problem in 24 hours that stumped an entire team for months" good.

@telanis9 Great point, having a big ego is rarely helpful actually
The fact that Barney went ahead and copyrighted the board game under Ben's name says everything about his character as a human being.

He’s such a sweetie
I always felt bad for the accountants whenever Ben quit
It literally broke my heart every time
@@fishybrickfilmsyeah of course, Barney is such a kind dude.
Same
I always wished he at least stayed a week with them
it always breaks my heart when he has to turn down the accountants. they love him so much 😭😭
The amount of delight Barney gets from Ben’s jokes is rather wholesome.😊
I feel so bad for Barney and the firm that Ben quits all the time.😔

Sorry I should clarify. He didn't start off with the show in season 1. So he was a late addition, but was still great
@@Asian-Hawaiian-Orian ohhh okay haha I get it now! Yea he and Rob Lowe have such a great dynamic and elevated the show to a whole new level!

TED! TED COME HERE THEY MADE A COMPILATION!
🤣
(whispers) play the video for Ted when he comes in
Thank you lol
Ted, get in here! There's a video about the accountants!

What mangas?? I’m interested hah
He’s like if Jim didn’t hate his job.
Legend has it Barney's still waiting for Ted to get in here
4:28 Ben: Wait a second that's not pizza, those are calzones! I love calzones!
Barney: we know!!!
It's so hard to explain out of context how that's so funny.
It’s a shame we never got to meet Ted 😢
Haaave ya met Ted?
The twist is that Ted had been deceased for 10 years.
@@theevilascotcompany9255 oh no!
He was busy getting dunked in the lake 🍵
Poor Barney. A life with so many ups and downs seems a little stressful. His incredible attitude is amazing though.
I would happily watch a show about accounting with Ben and barney
And Ted
@@DelTorres Ted should be an offscreen character for the entire show, until the series finale, where he's played by a big name actor.

If Ben was as confident around cops as he is accountants, he would be unstoppable…

*"I'm just kidding. You can do what you want."*
This kills me every time. These guys loved Ben so much and really appreciated having him on 😢.
If you turned dogs into people, taught them math, and then how to start a business, it would be that accounting firm.
5:33 I love this scene. Really underrated
Seeing these scenes all put together makes me feel so sad for Barney
7:17 I hope he got paid a million dollars for that scream lmao
andy’s reaction is always the cherry on top of that scene.

I still feel so bad for Barney, also I want to see Ted once 😂
Ted's a skeleton in swivel chair a la psycho.
🎶 Saturday, at the firm with Ben 🎶 😁
Barney and the accountants are legends, and you can’t change my mind. 😂
If only every day at work started with "you're late! Pshht just kidding you can do whatever you want :3"
I love Barney, so much life energy 🎉
No small parts only small actors. This guy is an excellent case in point.
I think he’s my favorite character on the show. Certainly the most likable.
He's like an excited child around Ben
when ben winked at the camera during the calzones scene i got pregnant
Me too 😂 top tier comment
It was so attractive
Just imagine how incredible the firm would have grown if Ben stayed.
Pay, healthcare, calzone parties. Honestly, that accountancy firm seems a good place to work.
The evolution of Ben’s suits 🤩
The calzone party was so wholesome... they really appreciated Ted those guys are the best.
I wish my boss likes me half as much as this guy liked Ben.
I love Barney’s enthusiasm
Barney is such a cool guy
I'm a "value-pack" version of Ben in my real life. I get emotional everytime I see the calzone party and the batman suit scene.
Never seen gaslighting the way Ben would to Barney 😂😂😂
Barney is the best. Always felt bad for him, he deserved so much better
"coffee in the morning" is getting added to my morning routine.
Ben is an absolute monster for teasing these guys so many times
🤣
Barney's actor is AMAZING 😂
Barney is a little strange and has an imaginary friend named Ted, but he means well and it almost seems like he worships Ben. I love those guys!
As an accounting major, calcuLATER is fucking hilarious
1:43 this one is actually good lol
Every tax season I wish I had an accountant like Big Ben Wyatt.
Barney have a place in heaven with it initial on it, so pure and kind .

The correct title for this video should be "Barney and the accountants thirsting for Ben more than Leslie".
I fucking love Barney.
"If I'm murdered tonight, start the investigation with those two guys." lol
7:17 😂😂😂😂😂 Andy lol
Haha i loved Ted, love his reactions
Barney is one of my fav recurring characters next to the guys from animal control and John Ralphio and his sister Mona Lisa who is the "worst..."
In my mind, it was Ben who ran for president and appointed Barney as the Secretary of the Treasury when he won.
love the accountants here!
I need a group of people like that at work
7:17 🤣
6:52 that was so funny
Lol we have a shortage of accountants and I came here to see how they're portrayed in the media.
Sweetest guys on the show. Bless.
Every employee in the world, just wants to be treated by Ben Wyatt.. Is that too much to ask?
Ben winning over Frank immediately after showing he was capable is so funny and wholesome
Barney is my favorite goober
The accountants are some of the most wholesome characters in modern television

Honestly, its a nice group of people
Reminds me of my first accounting firm in ‘98 😂

It's nice that Barney went from a rec centre teacher to running an accounting firm.
Ted! Come in here!
To this day I think of the 'calc u lator' joke everytime I use one.
The calzone party was one of the moments in 22 minute show history
Ben really got the best workplace TBH 😃
If they made a spin-off of just this, I'd watch it.
The second most interesting Barney on television 😁
God all Barney wanted was for Ben to work there 😭😭😭
Justice for Barney !!
