I got a Stetson hat that's about 40 years old it is straw and I have a beautiful feather band on it

I wear hats from Hatco and MasterHatters MHT. Both are quality and are good people. But the past five years all of my felts and all of my family felts have been made at MHT. My straws come from Hatco. MHT is still family owned and also in Garland. It just depends on what a person likes. Hats are a very personal thing to me. I have many, for the look, for work and because it serves a purpose day to day.
