No One Gets Out Alive | Official Trailer | Netflix
/ netflix
Desperate and without documentation, a woman from Mexico moves into a rundown Cleveland boardinghouse. Then the unsettling cries and eerie visions begin.
Every horror movie be like, "There is something wrong with this place and then proceeds to stay"
Right have the common sense to figure out something is not right with the house but no common sense to leave 😕
Its said in the trailer that dont try to leave it will just make it worse
They read the title and know they don't get out alive so they stay inside...
Dude, have you tried renting anything property in this economy?!?!!
Are you all that privilege to just be able to leave your house and be able to find and afford another?
People in haunted houses need to leave some of the lights on at night so it's not as scary.
Fr
that would be realistic and movies now a days struggle just to make sense!
Right.. dark houses at night only makes sense if it's the 80's, not 2020 where everything have LED's on them.
I live in a haunted house.
So at night i always keep turn on few LEDs.
@@shreyajha9867 lol...do you really believe that your house is haunted?

I know I’m two years late but, where else they gonna go? Just buy another house? Or ask for the rent back to move somewhere else? (And I’m assuming they signed a contract).

I love how, instead of playing the creepy sound effect at a scary moment, they just play it throughout the whole trailer. Proving that even the scene where the women in the kitchen are just talking, is supposed to be creepy
Only in movies they make the dead as something to fear, where in real life, one should only fear the living.

Really liked "The Ritual", another horror movie based on Adam Nevill's novel. Excited for this one ❤️
Loved that it was a Norse mythology horror themed film.
Well done movie! I really liked the creature.

Makes a change from typical horror creatures and viilians.
The Ritual was very underrated seemed like many people didn’t like it
The Ritual was one of the best horror movies so I'm excited for this.
“There’s something wrong w this place” “basement off limits” yaya we seen this before
I've read the book. You haven't seen THIS before.
Naaah, I don't think you're ready for what this story has to fully entail (if it's fully faithful to the book, it's going to be a really uncomfortable watch).
The funniest moments of any horror movie including this one is when the protagonist begins the movie in a normally happy and content state of mind then when shit goes south they start turning their head ever so slowly, administrating something from across the hallway waiting to see what it is, knowing full well it not natural but they still wait to find out.
Then when they have their first encounter with some entity or hyper-killer, they desperately try to convince others of the threat and either no one believes them or they’re in on it themselves.
The lady at the start of - “lights out” had the right idea. She flicked the lights off and on and saw something then she ran and said to her boss - “yo there’s something here I’m out.” 🏃♀️
Leaving it to the boss as the last person to leave the workplace and get clapped by the demon lady. You gotta love horror movies and there cliches. 😅😅😁😆
rule no.1, a non documented individual telling you they have contacts to "sort out your papers" is a scam right there!
There's nothing wrong with this place.
But there's something wrong with these people that stay here.
I always look forward to a good horror / suspense film. Excited to watch this one.

Really good movie for Netflix. Ambar was very well acted and believable. Good thriller/horror without too much gore - or relying on cliche tricks. Deserves much more than the 5.3 out of 10 given by critics. I'd give it a solid 8 out of 10. (and I'm not Alix, I'm her mother visiting and using her laptop)

Really loved this movie!! Given that it's the director's debut project, he nailed it .

So fuckin excited! Loved the book. Adam Nevill is a fantastic writer, he knows how to get under your skin.
You had me on "The creator of the ritual" best horror movie of the last decade in my opinion!
In the book, the story was set in Birmingham, the girl was Stephanie, and the ending in the book was more impactful, hopeful and happier.
I do like the illegal immigrant setting in the movie, but other than that, I love the book better.
@@letstrythisagain5096 Dude stfu. Then take everybody from Cuba, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Cambodia, etc if you want to let people go wherever they want. That's life. I’ve never read the book but to be honest this movie was legitimately scary. Great Saturday night cuddle movie.

This is an awesome movie! Finally a good setting. Cleveland, Ohio one of the best cities to live in. Highly under rated.
lmao Cleveland is a dogshit city
Why is it that in most of the haunted stories or movies these people never ever move out of the homes. The minute you see something crazy the person should say, "Okay, that's it I'll be staying in a hotel and move somewhere else.
She was great in Too Old to Die Young, cant wait to see this

Looks great, excellent for The Haunting of Hill House fans. Marc Menchaca was awesome in The Outsider series. 🔥

That creature at the end was absolutely insane looking!...never seen anything like that in any horror movie ever
Kinda silent hill vibes
The thing at the end of The Ritual was also pretty out there. Same author. Something tells me he likes Lovecraft and Barker... maybe Cronenberg to boot?
A real gem, I kinda loved it.
That lead actress is excellent.
Que encontraste de bueno en esta película? .
Title is self-explanatory. Thanks, Netflix
Just watched it..
The story was ok,
Acting not that good but in general it's worth it.
Enjoy!
L opinion
The stupid part was that she was able to get out by mentally ?? fighting the creature. I’m still not understanding how that worked out for her.
Just watched this. It is by far one of the better horror movies of the last five years. Very suspenseful and I love that big creepy, sprawling house. I lived in a similar place in my early 20s and loved it. No ghosts or creeps but it was sure cold.
I guess this movie is set in the same universe as The Ritual. Despite the monsters having a very similar design (weird, hanging arms), there is a scene near the beginning of the movie where you can hear a radio broadcast mention 4 lost hikers in the Swedish woods.
Very well observed! 😃
😮😮😮😮😮
Just finished and I would agree with most it’s a good movie. As a overall good story, small characters cast so more focused, visual we’re great and the ending had that oomph.
Also a good plus it has Spanish dub so I watched it with my mom. Hard to find good international movies again that are good
Netflix is pumpin out projects like crazy, I’m not mad tho keep em coming
I read the book a few years ago. Cool to see netflix picked it up. It was pretty good imo
The best Netflix movie ever made hands down 💯
Idk about all that but it was a ride I absolutely wanted.
Issa no for me.
You can definitely tell the people from The Ritual had their hands in this, similar aesthetics
Wasn't the book set in Birmingham, would be funny if everyone had a brummie accent.
Absolutely
But Cleveland is the best city ever. Go Browns!
Adam Nevill’s books are great. Even If the movie is half as good, it’s good enough. Excited about this.
I'm glad they're adapting another Adam Nevill book, since I absolutely loved "The Ritual." Totally can't wait!

ME: Duh! there always is!!!!!!!!!
Finally Netflix is coming with something interesting again!
I bought my apartment in NYC because something "bad" happened there. The owners (kids had inherited) wanted to sell and be done with it. It was bad but for the discount I got in the neighborhood I live, I painted a cheerier color palette than I normally would've chosen and don't think about anything. I've lived here for years and there's been nothing specific in the apartment, all buildings have creams and groans and lights that flicker now and again. If I wanted to live on Long Island, you can get a hell of a deal on the Amityville House when it's on the market.
I liked the movie and it was an interesting watch 9/10.
Mind Hunters season 3 Please!🙏 🥺 I know it's a lot of money but a lot of people love it too!

Looks a good watch. Doubt it'll hold a candle to the creepy novel by Adam Nevill, who's arguably the best horror author in the UK. I think this will go down The Conjuring cheap jump scare route, whereas the book has a Poltergeist meets Fred & Rose West vibe.
Nicely put: I loved the book.
That guttural background sound is so haunting,I love it
I don't really believe in ghosts but if I saw what she did I'd be staying at a hotel after the first time.
Edit to quote Michael Scott "I'm not superstitious, but I am a little stitious."
Ghosts are a piece of cake.
The demons are the real deal.
They're real. Believe it.
Hi Tony
If this is faithful to the book, this is going to be a very uncomfortable watch.
Huh...the rating says Strong Violence, Grisly images and language.
So it might tone down the rapey parts of the book.
@@GravityRaider care to spoil?

SPOILERS
From someone on Reddit: "A young woman who is short on cash and doesn't have much of a support network rents a cheap apartment. The landlord ends up being a scum bag and is real sketchy. Increasingly it seems like she's going to forcibly held captive and forced into prostitution. (It's a rough book if violence toward women is a trigger) all the same time, a lot of increasingly spooky stuff is happening. She ends up having some paranormal encounters but does manage to escape. She becomes wealthy after telling her story, but now she lives in a big mansion and is afraid that the eldritch creature she encountered is still after her. And it is. But she defeats it."
@@GravityRaider wow thanks!! Definitely interesting, I think I might read the book too
@@OhxMyxBarnacle It's a pretty intense and long read (at a whopping 600 pages). Some people prefer the first half while some (like me) prefer the second half. The first half is more of the "real" horror (sex slavery and misogynistic stuff) while the second half is more of the supernatural stuff.
It's honestly two books in one. I found the female abuse a bit gratuitous in the first half, but your mileage may vary.
Adam Nevill is my favorite horror writer! outside of Stephen king (who has been a favorite since middle school 20 years ago), Adam Nevill is the one writer I always recommend.
I'm so excited for this movie! I hope they adapt more of his novels. the ritual was pretty good, although I was a bit disappointed how it strayed from the book's original ending. it would be fantastic if they made last days last days into a film. The actors and actresses in this teen movie don't look like teens. They look like in their late 20s and early 30s. They look very old and mature. Why don't they get teen actors/actresses so that the movie will look believable.
Maybe because they're not teens
Have anyone watched it? please tell me how was it ?^^
The story was meh. The girl was kinda stupid for calling the rent owner just to ask for her deposit back. I get that she was broke but she wasn't thinking rational. And the monster was pretty cool and the ending is okay but confusing. Why wasn't she eaten by the monster? Did she wanted to continue to sacrificial bc she's seen that the monster can actually heal her? I'll rate it 6/10
