Potato and smoked sausage soup
Smoked sausage sauteed then mixed with a mirepoix of carrots, onions and celery, and cooked in a cream sauce with buttery soft potatoes, this is real comfort food
1 ½lb Potatoes (6 or 7 potatoes, peeled)
2 Tablespoons Butter
1 Onion, diced
2 Medium Carrots, diced
2 Celery Ribs, chopped fine
3 Cloves Garlic, diced
3 Tablespoons Flour
5 Cups Water
1 Chicken Cube
1 Cup Heavy Cream
Salt and pepper
