I specialise in golf club reviews, golf club unboxing, golf club news, golf club head to heads, and all about golf clubs.
I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

First time you've looked a little rattled 😂 let's be honest though if you'd of got to grips with using the 6 on the green you've of saved loads of shots. Very impressive ball striking and short creation ! Good fun to watch 👌🏻

Absolutely, you should even start a 2 v 2 series, you and Guy vs Robbo and an average player (bogey player to be fair because Robbo is sooo good)

It's been a while since I've seen a proper one shot challenge. Simply never gets old. Always nice to see James on the channel. Fantastic video, loved it!
Absolutely brilliant. I was holding my breath for that last putt.
The biggest benefit for me as a high handicap player is hearing James talking through his thinking on each shot. Also, he is so mentally positive once he decides on a shot - it is all 'OK, let's do this ' not 'Oh that's unlucky', or 'what a bad lie'. We could all learn from that. Even if it doesn't actually change the final score, (and I think maybe it will), it certainly makes the round feel more fun than constantly talking yourself down.
One thing we've all seen time and time again is James's ability to fashion shots with the wrong club. When he's played against Rick with rubbish clubs or only 4 of his own , it's an extraordinary ability to still hit great shots .. he's amazing!!

Awesome! Always a treat watching James. Shooting a 79, and he left at least 3 just on the edge and a couple others just barely missing…. he could have been 5 shot better. Still, it was all for fun. Hey Rick, here in Canada we have our winter greens too! 👍
Some of the truly unbelievable efforts from this round: chipping in on the 2nd, the ridiculously good rescue from the high mound down to the green on the 9th, and the most ridiculous of all, the up and down from the back of the 16th. Incredible skills.
I'm surprised that Robbo didn't more actively try to give himself a full 6 in to the 5's. He did it on 18, and was a good strategy.

Absolutely LOVE this video - so talented. Just in case people fall foul in a comp though, on the 6th James played from the "wrong" green which you are not allowed to do. Sounding like a negative geek which I am not. Great golf and two great personalities
Searched the comments for this. He has to take a drop. You cant play off the wrong green even in a casual round.

That was great. In my league, we always do have a three club tournament. We usually do two clubs and a putter. It was always a great time. Thank you, Rick, this was very enjoyable. FYI, James is awesome
I love doing this for a few holes every now and then. Played my last 6 holes with 8i only today. On the greens I putt using the back of the blade left-handed. Rolls much more predictably than trying to hit the equator perfectly. Well done Robbo!!!
That was amazing! I broke 90 for the first time yesterday, and with a full set! Well done James, and if I my say say so, growing nicely into the personality/presenter role, just like Guy. Great stuff.

I loved this! What I found interesting was to hear James' breathing through the mic, and how it would slow down and almost pause for the putting. That's some really good insight that you would normally not get on coaching videos.

We did this a lot as teenagers. But we always use 6 iron AND putter as you discussed in the end. I loved this, you relax in a way as you reduce the pressure you put on yourself. And you practice your imagination.

Loved this video. I was reminded of some of the videos at St. Andrews. I think it would be really good fun to watch Rick and James play a round with hickory clubs like he did at St. Andrews. Now that would be a real challenge!

Enjoying the video. A question I’ve meant to ask for a while… do you guys choose where to place the ads? It feels like they always come just before a shot or putt and it’s annoying because the video doesn’t pick up exactly where it leaves off, ie the viewer misses seeing the shot or putt going in the hole.
The content with James is always top notch. Love it!
I used to play on a course that was high in the hills, and sometimes a cloud would settle on the hilltop. One morning I arrived and visibility was down around 50 yards, no more. Teeing off into blank white mist. I played the entire round with just a 7 iron (and putter), relying on my knowledge of the course and listening for where the ball landed. One of the best rounds I ever played. And great fun.
This is an interesting exercise and a great training tool. One of my friends as a junior was forced by his coach to only play with a 3 iron until university studies stopped him playing golf fulltime. He now plays off 3-5 depending on how often he can play.

That was really good to watch. We often do a par 3 challenge with 1 club only at our course. Grab a few beers, golf carts and off we go. Our par 3's are 186m, 142m, 162m and 205m. 6i is usually my club of choice...

they used to do this now and again on pro celebrity golf with Peter Alliss - Seve’s range of shots with I think was a 5 iron were astounding - huge hooks off the tee for distance, wildly open faced chips, amazing stuff. I’d be happy with 79 with a full set…

Whoever did the scores, got it wrong on 10, James had a Birdie, not a 4. Oooops. James is a top pro golfer and a great coach too, a friend of mine has lessons with him, and his handicap is trending down to lower numbers than he himself thought he would be at this stage.

Brilliant watch, shows exactly how good tour pro's are, I'm thrilled when I break 80 with a full set. I have tried the one club and a putter years ago over 9 holes and it was amazing, I was only 1 stroke or so above my average. I hit both the par 5's in regulation by taking the danger away, made easy pars, certainly helped me with decision making when I was playing competition golf.

I think shooting what James did with one club is incredble. Those long putts were really tough (very difficult to get the pace) so could easily have been 75. The chip on 16 was genius. Great video - a lot of fun.

I always enjoy the videos with Robbo. Would like to see this challenge again but with one club and a putter. Only allowed to use the putter on the green. The shot creativity is the fun bit of the challenge, don't need lost shots from trying to putt with an iron.
