I also want to make you play better golf by providing coaching video on all topics about golf, how to fix your slice, fix your hook, help you drive the golf ball longer, hit your irons more pure, hit your irons closer to the hole and help you draw and fade your golf shots.
I will also help you lower your score by chipping better by stopping you duff and thin chips, pitch the ball closer and also create backspin. Also I will provide you help to putt better and hole more putts!
On this channel I also make fun and entertaining golf content based on crazy and sometimes “gimmicky” golf clubs. I like to cut through the marketing hype about products and I like to give you the honest truth about golf equipment.

What course is this great content
Rick's used clubs that cost 15 times more and they were customised to be perfect for him and he still couldn't win , and he played well to be fair . I thought this was a brilliant challenge , just proves how good a tour pro is to an ordinary pro , its night and day difference

You ever see his vid where mid-match he breaks his driver over his knee and attacks his caddy with it? Probably doesn't exist but that'd be awesome

Every time I watch James play the one thing that stands out is nothing seems contrived, he doesn't look like he's manufacturing a shot, it all just flows like he and whatever club is in his hands are one! Very impressive to watch. Even watching others who are very skilled (like Rick) there isn't that same fluid natural look to each and every shot the way James does it.
Immensely enjoyed this. It's not the arrow It's the archer.

@@HockeyNinja802 the majority of tour players I wouldn't say the same thing about. I actually think it's surprising how many elite level golfers have awkward or choppy aspects to their game. The results speak for themselves obviously but I think it's more rare to see players that execute shots where it seems the club is an extension of themselves. Tour player or not
I love these longer videos! I would happily sit down and watch a 2+ hour video watching you guys play a full 18 with minimal cuts! The shots, the banter, the calming vibe of watching two pro’s play, could watch these all day! Would love to see some full 18 videos! 😁🏌🏻⛳️

I watch Rick whilst feeding my son. He loves it! Longer videos the better, I tend to give the sub 15 min videos a miss. Great banter and production good job

The videos with James are my favorite! The way he can just feel his way around the course is amazing. He doesn’t even know the true lofts of the clubs, and he is putting for birdie on almost every hole. Class.

Honestly these videos with James are so great. Been excited for this to come out since the tease in the last video. Not disappointed- at all! Hope there will be more of these videos in the future. Would love to see James play with no gear disadvantages as well. It would make the match less competitive maybe, but I would love to see how he plays and hear what he's thinking when going through a course. Almost like your "how I play golf" videos. Anyways, thanks for the great content.

Just started playing Golf last year. Been using Rick's video for the last two months. He has helped a lot. I still haven't broken 100 but I'm creeping up on it. Hit a 115 this last Sunday.
New to the golfing world but your content has really helped me integrate with friends who play and understand the basics of the game. Recently I picked up so really cheap clubs off Facebook marketplace and I have loved every minute on the course since. Thank you
This vid goes to show cheap clubs ain't bad clubs, can get some really decent second hand sets off eBay for around £100-£200 when you're wanting an upgrade
I thought the first video you did with James was the best youtube video ever, this one was even more entertaining but also demonstrates just how good these tour pros are and that in the right hands sub optimal golf equipment can still do the job. Please do more specials with James, he is a real star.
This is why I love this game so much.. Two friends in the heat of battle for honours, yet still cheering each other on to play better!! Can`t think of any other game where your opponent cheers for you.. Love it !!❤

Really like that you found something positive to say about the Aldi set, and putting yourself in a "newbie" to golf frame of mind. Seen a couple of others with nothing but complaints about it, but absolutely zero adjustment to the different feel of the club.

I've got these clubs myself so I did some googling to find the degrees when I got them.

I also have these. Quite strongly lofted. The difference between PW and SW caused me a lot of issues, until I got a gap wedge to fill the, err, gap. Never could hit a soft PW. I said this on the last video already, but I honestly think these clubs are decent. Except the driver, which is a tin can on a very flimsy stick.

Loved watching the review of the package set & the 9 hole match with James using them. If package sets like these get more people starting golf & having fun with their mates that's what the game is all about.
Love how fast James can adapt to those clubs, especially the driver. Another sign of a very good player - they can make those small adjustments.

Another (as always) really enjoyable video. You both play with pure enjoyment and seem to make each other relax and the great golf just flows. Seems you could give James any tools and he will deliver, he makes everything look so easy and natural. So wish I could get to that level of swing lol
These are great videos. After watching James play with a box set, limited # of clubs, clubs not fit for him I definitely realized the importance of lessons and getting time on the course. I carry 12 clubs now and have stopped shopping for clubs each season.
Ive never played a game in my life, signed up for a game through the local pub so I came to youtube hunting for tips - this channel has an immense amount of information and these longer videos have been really entertaining, great work and thanks for the tips

Rick, you are the only honest youtuber out there. No scripted drama just real golf. Thanks for videos like this that show us amateurs that golf is mostly skill not equipment. I know it's hard to get sponsors being so honest but you make up for it with subscribers. The truth will set you free.
I love these videos with James playing with random clubs, though I'm sure he would like his own clubs sometime lol. I think a cool video idea would be to play with James, but he uses his own clubs and you get a 10 under start, just like with Tommy. Keep up the amazing videos!

At the beginning when Rick is introducing James to his "weapons of choice", they're both having a good laugh. I've gotta think James was partially laughing because he knew he was gonna wipe the course with Rick using those Aldi clubs.

With clubs struggling with membership, and Covid still rife it great to see new golfers.
I had a 3 weeks in new player with my 3 ball group, a guy crossing over from competitive football, barrowing clubs but loving the round.
I would love this set for my son, now too long for his junior set. 5ft 4inch playing with junior clubs...

It was really great to see how a pro plays with clubs that are so very different than what he plays. Love the idea that you look at entry-level clubs for those who may want to get a new set or start playing the game.

Awesome video, thanks Rick! If this video doesn't teach you the importance of a good swing over expensive clubs then nothing will. A decent set of clubs is important but getting a few lessons is probably way more important.
