I've tried it today and I love it! I didn't puree everything though, but left some of the soup unmixed for more variety in texture. It's always nice to have an easy recipe using pantry Staples. :)
Ahh I’m obsessed with you and your channel! 💕 When I’m stuck on meal ideas, I can just browse your page and there’s something fun and easy and delicious, thank youu! ❤️
Have u tried red lentils as filling for samboosa (somsoa)? It tastes really good. Idk where it originated from but I’m Arab and my mom would make them for me during Ramadan. Boil the red lentils until their soft ig (u don’t need the water if there is any left) Then you can salute them w herbs and spices (whatever you want, we usually smash together parsley and garlic w those traditional smash thingys idk what it’s called in English n add it to a pan saluting it w a bit of oil then adding the lentils and spices) Then you fill it into ur somsa pastry thing. You can either make it at home or buy it from the store. You can also do this with potatoes.
Turmeric, ginger, garlic... and such. it's funny how people call daal soup "Turkish" or "Indian" and so on, when so many countries name it as theirs, but the difference is mostly in spices n ingredient or two ;)
I really trust your recipes! there are very authentic, been following for a while now 💖(big fan) and since your Indian dishes series, the way you presented and made them was very very similar to how we cook in our homes!
i make this soup anytime I want to eat healthy but also not to spend half of a day in the kitchen and this is honestly the best soup ever. it's tasty, cheap and the flavour is always muhteşem (magnificent) ❤
Everything is super in this recipe except using unwashed lentil 😁 u should always wash lentil before use bcz it has lots of dirt & dust in the process of field to packing. I will surely try this recipe 😀
Mercimek çorbası has only lentils as ingredient. Sometimes onion also included, but definitely no carrots and tomato paste. If you add them, it becomes Ezogelin çorbası
Hii. Cutie!! We love your recipes.❤️ And this soup is our favorite in our family. By the way your pronunciation of "Afiyet olsun" is really good. Greetings from your Turkish fans. Hoşçakal👋🤚👋🤚👋🤚
I suggest green lentil soup also with orzo (dont have to put orzo in it but I think it pairs nicely) and oh I put 10% cream on top of this one like just a bit on top of my bowl…nom nom (but i guess it wouldn’t be vegan with cream)
Girl, why is your lentil jar so tiny? I would be pouring the whole jar in for just one meal. Also, I can't remember when I stumbled into your videos, but I'm super glad because I've already used a few recipes and they've been delicious!

Thank you so much Beautiful Soul for sharing yet another amazing recipe. I love lentils!
I've tried it today and I love it! I didn't puree everything though, but left some of the soup unmixed for more variety in texture.

Noch getrocknete Minze und nen Spritzer Zitrone, dann ist es perfekt 😍
I’m not even vegan.... but you make me want to be
Same here!
The animals will thank you too ☺️
You don't have to become a vegan to enjoy veggie recipes
Everyone eats/enjoys vegan food... whether vegan or not.

I highly recommend this recipe with thyme. (I use dried one )

Nice 👍 Add some Moringa Drumsticks to it and it will be even more tastier and healthier 😋
As a Turkish I never saw it made with cumin. Have to try it 😋
It's what my half Turkish friend said makes all the difference
I follow you on instagram and love your recipes so I’m so happy that I found you here as well / totally making this ❤
I am very happy to see Turkish food here :) but I have to admit that this is actually "Ezogelin çorbası"
Mercimek çorbası has only lentils as ingredient. Sometimes onion also included, but definitely no carrots and tomato paste. If you add them, it becomes Ezogelin çorbası
This became my fav lentil soup recipe. I love it but i have a disclaimer, these ingredients are good enough for 2 people maybe 3 at max
Love ❤Turkish food.
try Egyptian lentil Fatah it's so delicious
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS SO SO SO MUCH!!!!

What did you add to the soup at the end like a garnish - that red colored oil or something?
Looked like Chile oil.
This is awesome 🎉
That looks really good and I’m hungry now
Mmmh...j adore la soupe de lentilles mais que versez vous dessus? Huile pimentée ? Merci
Eritilmiş tereyağına toz biber.aslında o kadar güzel oluyor ki üzerine birşey dökmesende olur.
The bread.... the breeeeeeeeead! It also looks really good.
I love everything you do
Am Turkish and make this soup often, I've never used potatoes though. Not sure if that's common
Love this! Great for stressed out college students lol
In India, we don't pureè it with a blender! We like it a bit chunkier & a sprinkle chopped coriander leaves on top 🇮🇳🧡🤍💚🍀
So nice one of my fave soups gurrlllll xD
What is that red sauce you poured on top? And it looks delicious
It’s probably vegan butter with red pepper flakes or something similar to that
Du musst unbedingt in die Türkei verreisen ❤❤
Try making fasole bătută- it's basically a bean paste, kind of like hummus
You blend everyhing after it's cooked?
You are soooo pretty ❤🌺mashallah
Love u so much I'm a vegan and this food is my favorite
Afiyet olsun

I'd love more soups!
Bravo love it
Turkish food is super delicious
The best is with a little bit lemon juice 😍
The carrot chop gave me Demon Slayer flashbacks.
Hello..loved this recipe but I would suggest you wash your lentils or rice before cooking. You will be amazed to see how much dirt it has
Hey! What oil have you drizzled on the soup at the end of it?
Girl, why is your lentil jar so tiny? I would be pouring the whole jar in for just one meal.
Also, I can't remember when I stumbled into your videos, but I'm super glad because I've already used a few recipes and they've been delicious!
This is also like Levantine lentil soup
Harikasın 💐🤗
You are supposed to wash any lentils before cooking it and soak it in water for atleast 15-20 min before using it.
Afiyet olsun 🤤 ❤
Eline sağlık.
You added veg stock or water?
Do try veg dhanshak with brown rice
Subscribed for your smile
You need to wash your cereals and lentils before using them sis❤ Infact soak them if u can to remove all the extra polish from it.
Just an additional step to add: wash the lentils first
Is it possible to replace dry lentis with a canned one?
Now I’m just wondering, did those spices include pepppppppperrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?
btw you can just make it with only red lentils. Dont put vegetables. İts gonna be more delicious. Bon appetit. 🥰🥰🤩🤩🤩🇹🇷
...this is called masoor ki dal in the indian subcontinent, only the veggies are not put in the blender.
Q sopa más deliciosa💜💜
Afiyet olsun ❤🥰💋
Always fun to watch people from other counties measure "tablespoons." That looked like at least a 1/3 of a cup of tomato paste. Just weigh it.
I am new to using lentils. Does it matter if you replace red lentils with the black ones? For example in this recipe?
I'm no expert, but I think you can
use any kind of lentils,
red, green , brown, black
Is it garlic chili oil on top?
The lentils must be washed first by soaking them in water and change water several times until they are clean, then they can be cooked.
What is that red stuff that is being drizzled on the top?
Nice
Can you make a video for vegan sushi..
Watch lentils thrice and if possible soak for atleast an hour
You have to rinse those lentils first and clean them form starchy staff, it will rise your result 🎉
i think this might taste like pappu charu except we don't blend the veggies just boil them until it's done.
