loved the Margiela documentary too! the part I remember most was when he said the shoulders give the attitude and the shoes give the walk. loved the shoulder pads you got on in the talking head clips and the shoes you paired with the bag. great stuff

Awesome!!! I love it, this whole video was so good. I have always wanted to make a DIY of the Margiela glove jacket. So much sewing to do, so little time lol...

That would be a dream! I reckon we would need a sewing machine intended for leather

@@inkarlcerating I have thought about it a lot lol. I'm not quite patient or skilled enough yet, I do have heavy-duty and cobbler sewing machines but I think the best way to do it would be by hand. Without making the base or linning from scratch, I think finding a button-down shirt that can support it & looks good as linning, remove the buttons add a zipper, then by hand add each glove with stitches like buttons to hold them in place. Then after fully stitch each glove edge together. I haven't seen the linning on the original & don't know how they did it so I'm just guessing... Oh, and finding all the gloves can't be cheap or easy, I'm waiting to stumble across enough lol...
