Haha I can't stop laughing, this is just too perfect to be true. The way you manage to capture all the voices, even when there are too many to capture with two hands, is amazing. You should travel the world playing these things at concerts! Maybe you already are...
Though the OST of Link’s Awakening was created using simplistic hardware (it being on the gameboy), the music is surprisingly dynamic. You captured this perfectly on the piano, and having played some of this myself, I admire you all the more for it.
I thank you deeply, Luke Springer. I think it is precisely these technical limits that allow composers to focus on the essential, on the emotional power of their compositions and to reveal their genius.
I did not know that the songs of one of the best video game soundtracks in history could be interpreted so perfectly, thank you very much for the two medleys they have made me cry with emotion.
This is a fusion of all best themes from links awakening, (even I want hear the main theme playing by you) Man, I only can't describe the happiness you make me feel, keep on, God bless you!
The limitations for music output in older games seem to be a big advantage as the composer had to really focus on writing simple but extremely effective pieces.
@@GabbPiano thanks for taking the time to comment, felt very lucky to find your version of these songs after looking for decent sheet music of the overworld theme. Also realize now it's not only music benefiting from limitation, reminding me of the very very strict form of haiku.
I don’t think there’s a more accurate pianist on RUclips! Just discovered this melody and I’m blown away. Links’s Awakening is one of my favorite Zelda’s-absolutely nostalgic. Haven’t seen a video from you recently-I hope you’re doing well and hope to see another!
Wow, that arrangement of Mysterious Forest is insane! Keeping those trills going through the whole thing while having to switch fingerings is quite impressive!

This is so as not to duplicate the individual tracks of this medley: "Sword Search", "Field", "Mysterious Forest" and "Tal Tal Mountain Range", which are indeed in the Zelda playlist. This medley video is in my Medley playlist.
Le premier meilleur Zelda de tous les temps étant, ex-æquo : The Wand Of Gamelon, The Faces of Evil et Zelda's Adventure.

Sir, your hair is just as amazing as your piano playing! Simply marvelous!
🤗 Thank you! I confess that I spend almost as much time styling my unruly hair as I do practicing my piano. 😋

"Sword Search" is such a deeply nostalgic track for me. This whole soundtrack is, really. Thank you so much doing this medley arrangement!
This man should get an award for being the world's most handsome nerd.

Incredible! Absolutely beautiful 🎉
The best rendition I never heard before. Thank you "maestro".

oooh gosh ! that's too good to be true

Exactly. The constraints in music often make it possible to release the true expression.

Good piece, but should have ended with the Ballad of the Wind Fish
would have been perfect if he had shortened each part made it the same length of video and added in the ballad of the wind fish to top it all off
I propose the Ballad of the Wind Fish in this other video :
