Hubby and I found your vlogs a couple of months ago, and love you guys. We've only taken 8 or 9 cruises, find your info helpful and entertaining. We're 73 and 69 years old, but want to be like you two when we grow up. Thanks!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that you and your hubby enjoy our vlogs. It's fantastic to know that you find our cruise info helpful and entertaining. 😊🚢

My MS has flared up this week so it’s been a pretty rough week for me but this has definitely brightened me up. ~ I just thought I’d come in and say hello before I watched the Vlog/video - I hope you’re having a lovely weekend - thanks again for all your hard work in putting up the Vlog/videos ~ sending loads of love and hugs to you both ~ Xxx Xxx

Your support means the world to us, and we're sending loads of love and hugs right back to you! Take care, and we hope you enjoy the vlog!
I just can't imagine how many miles a day you guys walk through these enormous ships while giving us a tour! You deserve every calorie from the buffets and restaurants!
I took my son on his first cruise on Oasis of the Seas in 2012. We just love her. We may have to book her again to see these awesome additions.Great video and tour!
I just can’t get past the shopping mall vibe on some of these huge ships with the balconies facing in. Not sure it’s for me but I love the plants around the ship. You don’t see that often. Appreciate your comprehensive tours.
I watch my shipmate Doug at cruise radio for news, Emma and Cruise life for tours and you two for tours and entertainment! You are the best for sarcasm and comedy and i love it!
This is such an informative and thorough tour! I've been intrigued about the Oasis Of The Sea, especially since she's been refurbished! Thank you, Mr. Ben, Mr. David! I appreciate your honest reviews and sense of fun!
Thank you so much for your kind words! We're delighted to hear that you found the tour informative and thorough. Your appreciation means a lot to us! 😊🚢
Even though we have been on all the Oasis class ships, we have been on Oasis twice and will take it again in September for a Med Cruise and then at the end of October for the transatlantic coming back to the States! Love that ship! Thank you for a refresher’s course!
After you mentioned Star Trek, I remembered the episode you were probably thinking of for the showers. I was thinking Stargate. LOL. You guys are so fun to listen to. Keep up the good work!
Wow. Thank you for sharing your tour and time aboard the wonderful and beautiful Floatelle. Our City at Sea. I feel fortunate to be able to experience so much on my arm-chair adventure. Possibly one day, this will make my Bucket List. Stay safe. Bye for now.
Love watching your ship tours and even when they are really long , it doesn’t feel like it as I enjoy your funny commentary and descriptions eg Casino having machines that light up !! 😂😜
Ooh I didn’t realise the Oasis was in for this refit! We went on the Allure years ago and loved it! May need to check the oasis out in the very near future! Thanks guys 😍
I just came back from my first cruise today after discovering your channel and finding the courage to finally go on one!! I'll say it wasn't the greatest first experience, but it was my fault knowing the ship I chose was one of the lower rated ones, but it was the only one that worked within my vacation window. I'm still hyped to go on another cruise next fall!
Glad to hear your first experience didn't ruin future plans. If you don't mind sharing with us, what cruise line / ship did you sail on for your first?
@@AllAboardWithJoe Sure! I went on Carnival Sunrise. The room we had was amazing and most of our time was enjoyable, but overall there was a major cleanliness issue. It felt like there weren't enough staff to properly maintain the ship, and all of our ocean views were ruined by dreadfully dirty windows no matter where you were. Some windows had such large grease stains that you couldn't see clearly out of them. We also booked our excursions through Carnival and one was a complete false advertisement for what they actually offered, but Guest Services acted like they couldn't understand the issue when we asked them how often their excursion listings are updated and that everything listed under the one we booked was incorrect or misleading. I didn't go to the buffet much because it seemed lackluster, but I hear so many other people complain that they were rationing food. They would only have one side open half the time and 75% of it was just covered in trays of whole fruit spread out wide while there would only be a few pans with hot foods. Because of that, the lines for the other restaurants were always long, but hey, we all gotta eat!
Thank you for this fabulous review. I was on Oasis of the Seas just a year ago with a very large private group. This video brought back some wonderful memories, I love this ship so much. Thanks again!!
I'm so happy I found this review! We booked a cruse on this ship for our 40th birthday as hubby and I celebrate the same year. It's going to be our first experience cruising. I sew a few mostly negative reviews of this ship and started feeling anxious about the whole thing but your review was so good and thorough that it made me feel at ease. Thank you for showing the entire ship, I felt like being on it already! Greetings from London!
Sorry we just got off of our oasis cruise ( April 7-14) and I found it needing updating! Our room (ocean/ balcony) needed new carpet. It was worn! Also not impressed with the food in coco cay and the wind jammer was so crowded that it was hard to get to the food.
I certainly do appreciate your wonderful tour, and all the time it has taken to so far see only the upper decks and the pool areas. I’ll continue to watch and be amazed, most likely at all the other amazing decks, but I’ve already decided it’s much too much ship for me. 😮 I’m going to stay with the older small ones - and probably save money at the same time. I can only relax with so many places at once, lol. 😅. You guys do wonderful vlogs, thank you
Guys. A Saturday video? Is this in addition to tomorrow or a day early?😂. Anyway appreciate it. Was on the Oasis last August. Oh wow. The suite deck area is large. Appreciate the bar but quick bites to eat would’ve been nice. Frequented the upper and lower deck Solarium. Loved the coziness of eating at the solarium bistro to avoid the madness of the Windjammer 😂. Oh this is bringing back so many memories. Schooner our fav bar. Love the shows. Cats and the ice show was great. Didn’t make the aqua show but saw it on the Allure. Gonna watch and enjoy. Thanks in advance for a wonderful tour🤗
This is such a fantastic review! Our whole family absolutely loves your videos and my ten year old son keeps saying how much he hopes to bump into both of you on our next cruise. You are both so informative and make every video incredibly entertaining!
Excellent tour, guys! I never thought I’d be interested in a mega ship like this, but this video got me excited to try one! Thank you for your wonderful content, you never disappoint.
It's bluming HUGE.. that's what she said😂 Great tour. Love you both, l too look forward to snuggling into your videos on a Sunday in Australia. When is BBC going to give you your own talk show, so deserving. Congratulations on all your success, lots of love ❤
If you have a group of around 6 people, I highly recommend booking a private karaoke room. It's so much fun and I don't think it's that popular, so it's easy to get a reservation. If you split the cost, it's not that much.
Hey Guys, we love all your vids and as a result, have booked our 4th cruise (Wonder of the seas). We always thought we were too hip for cruising...how wrong we were!!!. This ship was our first and current fave. Thanks as always :)
Another great video, guys!! I've been on this ship 4 times and love it. Did I miss your segment on the Vitality Spa? I'll go back and watch again. Thanks!!
Great video. It's unfortunate how many venues are "extra pay." With the competition out there and the growing popularity of cruising, I would choose another cruise line. Many other lines include these restaurants/bars etc.
It seems like it would be confusing with so many Lime & Coconut bars, especially if you are planning with others to meet up there. Q: can you take a plate of food out of the buffet to the sunchairs or to your state room?
Be interested to see the update on how busy it is when it leaves from England and its 45F outside and everyone is crammed inside all the outside space covered in rain
Same as night, these ships have so many venues and activities inside don't feel so overcrowded, unless they're doing the parade or balloon drops, I stay away mostly.
I was recently on the Wonder of the Seas on which the solarium is completely enclosed. Even though it was supposed to be air conditioned, it was very warm and muggy in the solarium which was much smaller than the Oasis Solarium. I've been on both ships, but haven't been on the Oasis in about nine years ago. I love the upgrades they've given her and can't wait to sail on her again in October. She looks like the Wonder of the Seas now. I loved watching your tour to anticipate my upcoming cruise!!
Hi Ben and David! I absolutely LOVE your channel! You guys are my favorite RUclipsrs ❤. I'm hoping to book your next group cruise. I finish nursing school in June. I'll keep watching!
Hi guys! I found your channel last year and I love it! As I am typing this, my mom and I are wrapping up a Venice-to-Barcelona cruise on Viking. The Oasis of the Seas is docked right in front of us. It's absurd! The Viking ship looks like somebody's private yacht next to this thing. 😲😉
Having only previously sailed with DCL (9x), we just booked our first-ever RCCL for Oct2024 on an Oasis-class (UOTS). Thank you for this overview! Super helpful! 💜 (edit: forgot about some DCL voyages, lmbo, added another to the total)
Not just bird sounds piped in, but real birds! While in ports we were told that birds will fly in, and if they don't leave before the ship does, then they just travel along to the next port. We spent 18 days going from Honolulu to Brisbane and had birds along for the entire ride.
My husband and I got married on the Oasis of the Seas June 2011. We must plan another trip on her. Loving all of the upgrades . Thank you. This is a lovely review ❤.
Great tour! Did RC spend any of that updating money on staterooms? They didn't get done at the last amplification, so hoping they were updated this time! Hope you'll post some "inside" video of Oasis if updated! Thanks!
Have cruised on Oasis two times to both Western and Eastern Caribbean ports. It's a fantastic ship! For first timers, on Embarkation, head to Park Cafe in Central Park rather than the hectic and crowded Windjammer. Also, book Giovanni's Table for a great Italian meal!🚢
Your observation about the lack of windows on the Oasis Class is exactly why we made the decision a few years ago not to cruise on them anymore. Their almost complete lack of connection to the sea is a big deal for us. We've moved to ships that have more windows and more ocean views.
I have to agree, Oasis is the best of all the Oasis class ships we have been on so far. We went on it post amplification, and I believe the public areas are elevated, compared to Harmony or Symphony at least. The only downside are the rooms, which were not updated and don’t have the same amount of storage as the newer ships.
Harsh critics today. I know you guys are busy moving, etc. And you don't have funds to cruise practically constantly, like the other big guys who are now operating as trip advisors, so they go as media/tour operators for free. That's why I love your channel bc you show EVERYTHING, EVERYWHERE. You guys are right in that the food really seems to have degraded to standard fare unless you pay for a specialty restaurant. Not sure about that. Thanks for posting and showing the walking tours, you do.
Thanks again guys for a great ship tour!! Curious what type of ship is your favorite to cruise ... Do you prefer a larger ship with 5,000 + passengers or a smaller ship with maybe 3,000? I've been cruising for years and have done both types. I really prefer a smaller ship like Princess with 3,000 ish passengers instead of a mega ship. Love your channel ☺🛳
Hi Ben and David. With the new Queen Anne sailing now.Are you guys planning to sail on her in the near future ?.Loving the channel and keep up the good work guys.🙂
We have sailed a few times with Royal...my favorite was Odyssey. However, more tecently, i see prices escalating way beyond its worth, so weve not been with them recently

Hi Ben and David - Great B roll footage at the start of your episode! Sound effects for scene transition was smooth and spot on.

Thank you, guys, for the tour!!
I will finish watching your amazing video of Oasis later tonight.
29:41 I’d definitely pay extra for the Italian Restaurant and I do like the indoor quieter areas of the ship❤
I’m going to be on Oasis in July. Thanks for the great video!
Great video guys! I'm sailing her later this year so your timing was perfect. Thank you! 🙂
After you mentioned Star Trek, I remembered the episode you were probably thinking of for the showers. I was thinking Stargate. LOL. You guys are so fun to listen to. Keep up the good work!

Those Cabanas up on the top deck are just in the way. Who wants a cabana where everyone is walking by looking at you all day long?
Agreed!
I agree. Does anyone ever actually rent those on the ships.
They are almost always empty
