The pie and mash at the start really sums up British food and why it’s good. People say it’s dull and bland, but you’re stood there, it’s cold and wet, and you have a steaming forkful of hot beef pie and potato, with gravy.
The Beigal shop is owned by my family and I'm glad you liked the salt beef beigal. Also the Portuguese tarts are good if you fancy something sweet. Love your content, keep up the good work bro.
You say it's touristy but as someone who's lived in London for 12 years now, Londoners definitely also go to Borough, it's so so good. Also it was probably a good thing that you went on a grim grey day, sometimes it's so busy it's just no fun. If you come back Spitalfields also has a brilliant food market, and you can walk to Brick Lane from there (which I've seen other people have already recommended).

Your comments about the pie at the beginning is everything people don’t get about British cuisine. Eat it on a cold, wet day, and you will understand, respect and desire it!
Omg my sister and brother made that pie as they are working inside the Pie minister factory 🏭. My favourite is the moo pie 🥧 it’s soooooo good and yummy 😋. We always eat pie every weekend because they brought home some pie. Pie minister also has an amazing sausage rolls. Welcome to Uk 🇬🇧
Whenever I go to London I ask myself, why do us Americans have a bigger obesity problem 🤣? The last time I was in London for two weeks I gained 7lbs lol.

Me too...hehehe
I am only here because it was on RUclipss front page for me likely because it likely got popular after the video of him saying they broke up in London
Me after Mike New video, London is a nice city with diverse culture and food. I just hope he will find the One for him soon so he will get over his ex, love from London for Mike ❤️🇬🇧
Me too! Poor sod. I like Mikey. He seems a decent soul.
I had brined a brisket in preparation for some bbq and it got interrupted so I froze it. One thing after another I ended up just baking it. It had basically become almost liked a cured beef and roasted into meltyness. It was shockingly good and I can only imagine it’s similar to that beef!
people mock british food for being just pie n' mash every day without much spices and stuff
but
we know how to make that kinda food bloody well
They mock bc they really don’t have much else to pick on do they? They’re losers
Billy don't disagree with the delicious and good part, but definitely not healthy
I love British food. People can mock it all they want, more for me.
Yep after you added spices from the colonies 😂😂
@@CloroxBleach-vy1dj He said hearty (as in filling and comforting) not healthy. I don't think anyone would call our food healthy haha
I come here to help with some sadness it always works. Seeing delicious food wants me to go to the actual place to eat it. This channel is truly wonderful
Finally Borough Market gets the appetite it deserves!
Wow....He’s actually the only utuber who managed to scoffed down all these blood-clogging street food down his throat in one visit and still gone to Bagel Bake at 3am, by himself! lol. Most of other utber ive watched gone in pairs, still none of them had as much as him 🙈 He eats for 3 (maybe more! Haha) with square chest, abs and biceps, his sense of humor and love for food-thats why i love this guy so much. Dont ever change Mike! 😌
Good to see you in London Mikey however why are you playing FRENCH backdrop music.?
Good to see you finally made it to the UK, i think that London and other parts of England lead the world in food markets.
Welcome to the United Kingdom my friend 👍👍🇬🇧🇺🇸😁😁
BANTER CLUB
You're in London! Excited to see what you think of our grub and see where you go!
BTW salt beef is not pastrami. It is called corned beef in the states and it is very different.
LOVE that you went to the beigel shop on brick lane! Been going since I was a kid, amazing place!❤️
11.52 " If only vegetables smelt as good as bacoon".. 😅😆😆

It feels so weird knowing that you actually came here xD (in a good way lol)

Literally 50 minutes from my house, I’m so glad our food got good reviews
@@isabelleb.1270 You seem likable.🙄
The way he so accurately describes all the food he eats just blows my mind.. Awesome!!
"This pork is as moist as this country's weather" hahaha
You need to try traditional east end pie and mash it’s on another level! My favourite food
Use this as a Strictly Dumpling makes you hungry button
Pls go back to Instagram, thanks.
Six Petrified Trees I don’t even understand the comment
Shall we tell him it's moist here 10 months out of the year all over the place, we'll all evolve with gills and webbed feet somewhere along the timeline XD. Ugh, I really want to binge eat in the market places now. I'll just have to make do with my crisp butty though.
When you're talking about the donut you reminded me of my strong African ascent uncles for some reason.
I've just had breakfast, but Mike, watching your videos always makes me hungry again.
When in England don't play accordion music. Leave that in France
Don't eat their food either, also leave that to France. At least when you're in Europe.
I know. What a divvy.
Even being an American, it kind of stood out to me too. Oh well. Most of us are living in the modern era anyway.
Hope u know 80% of english white people have french ancestry
Plus a lot of french people live or study in the uk
Man, I would not go against you in an eating competition!
Great video and lots of really awesome looking food.
So good to see you have come to London! You should have gone to the 24 hour bagel place next to that one. It's the original and much better. ;)
Thats the real test of a londoner. Left or right bagels... There is a correct answer.
@@DaveDaveson right! Always.
Oh awesome dude welcome to London.
There are food markets all over and vegan food has become a large piece of our community, but hope you enjoy what ever you try and looking forwards to more videos!
