I took the Tanuki 375 out for a go on one of my favorite local streams. This thing is a JOY to cast kebari with! I ended up with two species on this day, creek chub and a brown trout! Most of the brown trout were big and chunky!
I was very chatty on this day too, so you will hear a lot of on stream tactics while chasing the big browns.

It helps the channel out. Thank you!
Enjoy!
good vid, good chunkers! 😍
Thanks Chris! 😁
14:20 fun stuff
I try to be aware when they strike, but they can still surprise you! 😂
"One little tree and I get it." a humble admonishment when you snagged on the false cast. A redeeming par for the course during an otherwise wonderful Tenkara adventure. I noticed the Goose was not on the "ET" (extra terrestrial) rock watching you in this video. LOL
Haha! It’s a reminder not to false cast Vic! Nope, the goose has flew the coop! 😂
@@tenkaragenki I get it! Your one cast over the Coo Coo's nest ? Hee Hee
@@VicBranker 🤣 Great movie by the way!
I hope you harvested those mushrooms. Pheasant backs are delicious if you get them early.
I unfortunately did not! :/ I’m only confident in identifying morels. I may have to next time though! Thanks for the tip!
Ahhh, the famous mushroom rock! I guess I'd revisit that spot frequently too if I knew I'd catch a donkey brown like you always seem to find there. What a great, productive creek! Thanks Jared! BTW, what's up with that barbed wire fence across the water? I thought the streams and their beds were public property in Wisconsin. (Maybe it's just there to keep the livestock from wandering and not to discourage anglers.)
Yeah it’s very productive and about an hour away! And yes all healthy trout!
I think the fence is up to keep the cows in the pasture. Thanks Gary!
🤩🏆🤩
🙌 thanks Carlos!
Is that a soft hackle ?
@@georgespence590 yep, soft hackle! Sorry I don’t have any closeup pics of the kebari on this video.
