Fenris and Morrigan will be forever my favorite game characters out of all I've ever played. What's interesting - their voices are so amazing. Very well dubbed.
I don't really know how many people will see this or even need it but the way to get "The eyes of a slave. Does he want freedom or a master?" (or something like that) can be easily achieved by talking to Katojen (sp?) before leaving for the tunnels, right after the main dialogue with Petrice (Act 1). Hope this helps anyone who wants to listen to this in-game or is just curious about the setting in which it happens. I know it bugged me for quite a while before figuring out where the hell it came from ^^
Number one reason why I went for fucking Fenris in-game was because of this silky smooth ass voice coming from this petite ass young man. Bro, the way I die every time he speaks to Hawke. Man didn't even stand a chance.
“Looks like the Amells didn’t hate your father enough to throw all his possessions away” 0.0 was Malcolm scripted to have hidden in the mansion for a time? Lol (not that he’d be alive, but there’d be humorous notes like “Leandra, send your ‘pet’ away, before your father must send for ‘exterminators”) “Luxurious accommodations for a former slave, don’t you think?” I wish they had it in game where he comes to live with you. It didn’t make sense that he was squatting with the constant threat of being arrested by the seneschal when his lover has a perfectly fine mansion just around the corner.
@@TheLizardWizard_the2nd at first he asked Hawke to help with Danarius and give him all the coin he had in return, and once you clear Danarius’ mansion, you can enlist Fenris to join you as a hired blade.
@@toritsubasa816 I’m glad he’s my epic damage dealer instead, I’d be lost without him tanking and destroying everything (hell, running through Feniyrel’s mission, he’ll murder me when he goes with the pride demon unless I strip him of his points beforehand with maker sigh)
0:29 "enough to put her on a sip and maybe carry her for a while" oh my gosh is he talking about Varania? after all this time i still wish there was a quest to somehow at least make them civil ( ; - ; ) and 3:28 was he originally intended to be a rogue? edit 3: nevermind. in Heroes of Dragon Age, "slave" Fenris was classified as a rogue. he must've been intended to be a rogue in da2 too.
Dare Reale No, everyone has lines like those because you could level up Fenris’ dexterity if you wanted to, thus making him able to spot/disable traps and unlock things. But since he’s a warrior no one would do that.
I think he was talking about Orana instead, given his peaceful wording of the woman. He was venomous after dealing with his sister, I doubt he would take so sweet about her so soon after. When you give Orana coin after freeing her from the bitchy magister, he worries she’ll be robbed easily since she’s never been free before, so she’s an easy target for the corrupt of Kirkwall. I guess there must have been options to ether have her live with him (probably ether like a kid sister if Romanced, or as a lover if not, like Tali and Garrus lol) or have him arrange transportation safely away, since he’s been on the run for so long, he knows how to handle keeping hidden for times.
