I have the upgrade program & am very excited for the new PadPro. Unfortunately I may have to get a new case. Thanks for all you do for us to keep us updated. Knowing when the new IPad’s will be released it’s like having the winning lottery ticket.
I’m still rockin’ my 2018 iPad Pro! It replaced my laptop years ago for all my content creation & media consumption. I also have an iPad mini for when I want to travel really light. I will upgrade both when the new ones come out. I’d actually update my ipad mini first as it’s battery has degraded the most since I use it on the go while my iPad Pro is mostly plugged in at home.
The low glare/reflection could be achieved with a screen guard right ?

Still using my 2018 iPad Pro 11”. It’s my favourite Apple device. I’d love a new 12.9/13” iPad Pro but it really depends on the weight for me. I’d also love to see a clamshell option when plugged into a monitor. I’m sure iPadOS 18 will have some cool feature.

Some people just like to watch the latest reports and rumors on the upcoming products. There is nothing wrong with that.
You won’t get the “fact” until apple releases it officially, and most of those “rumours” end up true anyway because they were not just guesses but they were based on supply chain information. So I don’t know what you are trying to get at?

I still have the 9th gen iPad and I don't plan to update that setup until iPadOS has a meaningful change. I prefer using the iPad for creative stuff, but I get basically all those features on the M1 MacBook Air I've been using.
I guess what I'm looking forward the most about iPads is better browser support and just as good battery life as a MacBook? Otherwise, it's an already solid tablet.

I'm gonna upgrade my 2018 pro to 2024 pro definitely. It's gonna be OLED with 270 DPI. No macbook can beat this sharpness at the moment.

The issue for the iPad Pro is that it’s an obscene amount of money for a content consumption device. The operating system is not pro, when you’re dealing with files and so on it needs to be far more like OSX. Like you, I have an iPad Pro and I just won’t upgrade because of the operating system, your file better off getting a MacBook Air or low spec pro. Apple are missing a trick here because I would have an iPad and a MacBook if the OS was that good, iPadOS is pretty useless and is the reason I won’t be upgrading.

Waiting since last year for these new iPads. Tempted to go for the pro simply because of the OLED panel and the 120hz. But these two things alone aren't enough justification to cough up extra money for the pro lineup. Depending on the pricing might go with the air
if you're used to 120hz devices you'll definitely regret going for the air. bought an Ipad air last year and returned if after 1 week of use. cant stand that 60hz refresh rate, it feels like its lagging or something. haha
I think due to the recent release of the M3 MacBook Air, Apple decided to release the iPad Pro a little bit later, maybe at WWDC, so it wouldn’t cannabalize the sales of the new MacBook Air

Yes, I'm having a difficult time deciding whether to go with the new iPad Pro M3 or just keeping My M1 iPad Pro, and being an MBA M3 15" for a large screen.
You wouldn’t even notice a performance difference. Depending on what your current computer is, I’d get the MBA instead of the new iPad.

One of the reasons that I prefer Apple's displays is that they are glossy. Matte screens lose vibrance and color accuracy and present colors as washed out, even blacks looks grayish.

They’ll move the Apple Pencil charger to the short end
Or they might just adopt the USB-C Apple Pencil as the main pencil (although I personally prefer the 2nd gen Pencil that magnetically charges)

@@denergyisgud It’s a possibility, but I don’t think so as it’s a pretty big downgrade… Imagine having to carry around your type C cable everywhere you go (you might need it to link your Pencil to your iPad again), instead of just snapping your pencil to the side of your iPad
@@iTech. Yeah fair point, I always thought the USB-C Apple Pencil was a bit messy tbh. The way you charged it looked very ugly imo (but then again, the charging method of the 1st gen Apple Pencil felt weird too)
