    You have no idea how thrilled I was when I saw this. For a high school Biomed class project about 6 months back we had to create and design a new product/device that could be used for medical applications and the projects would be reviewed by a biomedical company that just so happened to specialize in spine related design and product. What I designed was almost exactly this device. I know that this is a different company from the one our projects were sent to, but it just thrills me that I at least formulated something that actually works and could be revolutionary in the restoration of paralysis

    It's also important to note that the man hasn't used his legs for almost 10 years, so the muscle is weak.

    I am not a paralysis victim nevertheless I cannot walk properly due to bike accident 3 years ago, I am recuperating gradually or slowly.

      Procedures like this, when they become publicly available in 3-10 years, will be ludicrously expensive in 95% of the world for probably another decade or two.
      With predictions for how our world may turn out if we go down our current path without any alterations, we may not live to see a day where 8b+ people can all afford miracles.
