Usually if the price is right, I certainly go for Airasia/Airasia X. They can be 50% or more cheaper than regular full service airlines that serve the same route :). Thanks for watching and I just watched your Starlux video which looked amazing - I just subscribed!

Excellent review @TheWindowSeat I share a very similar sentiment based on my recent experiences with Air Asia X up to KL from Perth and continuing on with regular Air Asia to Colombo and then returning from Taipei through to Perth via KL. Flying on the wide body is definitely a bonus for a LCC and the legroom is probably a bit generous for LCC standards :) As you pointed out I agree the menu/food is amazing and doesn't break the bank. In summary AAX deliver on what you pay for (and the extra inclusions you may wish to add) so defs pretty hard to find too many objective faults with them from my experience!
Thanks @AussieJetSetter! It's great to see they are fairly consistent with their services and product offering from your flights too with them :). Yeah for sure, the A330 definitely gives better legroom which is always nice for longer flights. I've flown with them quite a lot over the years and you're right that its hard to find a lot of faults given the usually good price you pay for the flights.

Many other airlines fly from KL to other destinations as well - perhaps you could set KLIA as your hub in south east asia.
Make some time to tour Malaysia - we have long line of beaches, beautiful islands (underrated and less crowded) with beautiful marine scenery if you enjoy scuba dives, we have a number of mountains should you want to hike and natural tropical forest as well.
Plenty of waterfalls, elephant and orang utan sanctuaries. Several highlands where you could walk in the clouds.
I promise you would hit 10k subscribers in no time!

I normally use a mount to attach it to the window or seat in front if possible. Sometimes though, I just manually hold it as the vibration causes a lot video rattle!
