Interesting that you mentioned the United plane on the apron using a bus service, my son & daughter flew United to the USA on 29 February & they too experienced the bus shuttle (in fact the driver originally took them to the wrong plane!). They were told that QANTAS has the first call on gateways(?). at Sydney Airport. Interesting that your flight only had 50 passengers (their United flight was full), lucky you didn't fly QANTAS or Jetstar as they tend to cancel low patronage flights. Good to see more competition in overseas flights from & to Australia, especially more 'no frills' airlines competing on price. Great also that you got to fly with plenty of room on board to stretch out & move about (no queues for the loo).
I've flown that United flight 20+ times and never had a bus. SYD must be getting very overcrowded. I really liked this flight, but pretty sure it wouldn't be nice with 350 passengers! Price was right too.
@@TravelwithMark Yes I think SYD airpport has reached full capacity. The new Western SYD airport is taking shape & is due to open in 2026 & will be open 24/7, unlike SYD.
Hi mark , the meal provided are included or you need to pay separately for them on board ?can you also give me some information about priority booking please
Hi, yes you need to pay for your meals. They do take cash (check your change, they make mistakes). You need to pay for everything extra. That is the budget carrier business model where the base fare is low and then you pay for everything else. sorry I have no info on priority boarding.

Hi, do you happen to remember the price for onboard upgrade ?
I do not. I didn't take the upgrade, just flew in the mostly empty economy section. BTW, Air Asia regular seats are very comfy

Next time you can try Uncle Chin's Chicken Rice if you have a chance, it's the best meal I've had on AirAsia!
I can only eat so much 😀 I'll definitely fly them again and will try it next time and report back
Hazing lines coming on screen why?
Old 60Hz lighting in Sydney Airport
Nice vid, thanks mate. Do they offer any IFE options?
They did not.
@TravelwithMark what do they offer? Since they don't have IFE, do they have some magazines, books or any reading materials?
You need to bring your own entertainment.
BRO KNEW MY FLIGHT NAME ON THAILAND -> JAPAN 😭
What nice.....AirAsia CANCELLED my flight from Goal Coast to KL TWICE IN 2020 and NEVER refund the money 😡😡😡
Did you pursue the refund? Did you lodge a complaint with the regulator?
