@@Bestcustomscreens I appreciate your video on how to install vertical blinds in 3 minutes. I had an idea pop in my head after the video. So I made made a template out of cardboard of where I wanted the blinds located.This was so I didn’t have to measure but once then I followed your advise. Man, it was so smooth. I dreaded the install prior. Total time was less than an hour to install 8 vertical blinds in my house. Thanks for your help.

How do I remove it. I want to put a new different blind the horizontal one.
There should be a brackets that has a thumb tab to pushed. You may need a tool like screw driver or pair of pliers to push it and un click it

No Rawl Plugs? Screws straight into what? Plaster? I've always found the time consuming part is trying to get a fix into the lintel
The screws are long enough to reach the header beam "wood" above the window. Only 1/2" or 5/8" drywall is there over the framing and the screws are 1 1/2". This is standard construction. Hope this helps answer your question. Thanks for watching 👀 🙂
@@Bestcustomscreens Ah right. Here in the UK we don’t have such a good system. Usually a concrete lintel or even trickier, a boxed metal lintel. I’ve had to resort to using pneumatic drills on some of the ‘70s concrete ones 😅

I did it, but it took more like an hour and a half.
We always recommend to put down the beer and turn off the game before installing.

You might want to spend some money and time with a Lav mic. Audio is very poor
Random video on mobile phone. Was by myself and decided while I was there to shoot video when I was installing. I actually had to prop my phone on my ladder too. Lol 😆
You need to zoom camera into area you're talking about. You should explain how you chose area you put stuff in. It appears like you just eye-balled it. Waste of time viewing this video. Everything is far away. Hard to see what you're doing. Smh
It looked like he did a lot of prep work that is not shown. There is no way everything just fits perfectly. Every window is different so I bet some pre-measuring and cutting.
Hi Glenn C. The only prep work that was done was 30 years of experience installing vertical blinds. Also it the fit perfectly because it was measured first, then the vertical blinds were made at our factory and a few days later I came back to install them. I didn't even plan on shooting a video that day but I was reminded that we needed a vertical blind video for our RUclips channel and website. I shot the video with my cell phone balancing on the top of a 4 foot A frame ladder.

Correction: They are not Home Depot blinds. They are the self aligning EZ Glide headrail with contract Vanes in an apartment building.
