  • Another evasive move that I feel Leo players don't use as often. This is to be used in tandem with Leo's BOK, back kenpo, db3 and even their parries. All of these tools add another layer to your offense/defense which could potentially give you more oppurtunities to open up your opponent.

Love this move and it’s great for those who like to press buttons at the start of a match

I like this video format, labbing the character and counter-options

Bruh... so i been watching u a madara for all of tekken 8... and i watch and had always wonder "why dont they use f 23?" I thought i was missin something like yall are the top guys so i figured there was a reason lol. Its one of my go to moves since leo came into the game. Its a really good to mix in at rd start as well if people are mashing to start. Obv homing and crushes will kill it but i get some good leads at the rd start if i dont overuse it. It also can change the course of a rd youre losing and can get off of wall pressure. Its clutch

Put alot of time into Leo T7 since there was no Bruce.
The 2+3 options are such fun buttons, she feels like she's playing a completely different game.

Richie and gang as a Leo and King player, upon further investigating, I have found that this move is a GODSEND in the Leo vs King matchup because sidestep right is King’s general weakness. In any situation where you are neutral on block and maybe even slightly minus (all tests done with shove which is neutral on block and body check which is +3), f2+3 completely evades the moves. Here are list of crucial moves that evade this seemingly from +3 (these guarantee work on shive and lariat still checking body check fully check) to -3
    - Giant swing
    - Df2
    - df1
    - jabs
    - another shove
    - ffn2
    - f3
    - All command throws including Tijuana and pile driver
    - hopkick
    - b1,2
Needless to say, King’s frame traps are looking hella shaky against Leo with this tool

I've won so many close games with F2+3 I think of it as Feng evasive move UF2. I use it as a panic move at the wall if there about to press and they get wallsplated 99% of the time 😂

Huh. I'll have to explore this move more. I feel like I tend to opt more for D2 or F3+4, but I suppose this move is a lot better than I thought; kind of overlooked. I feel like that was the case in Tekken 7 as well, wasn't it? Or did it not have as much use as it seems to have in T8?

wouldn't say the move has changed game to game but this move is really effective as a panic tool and can be super clutch at the end of rounds
