People are upset they don't get as much dmg off wall combo. I say this is a quality over quantity buff. More mix-up options to break an opponents defense, and more counter hits into guaranteed follow ups stacking up to make up for lost combo dmg. Leo can still pull off 80 to 90 on the wall average anyway, so this is definitely a W patch imo.

cant lie aftter i played a lot i never got the situation to get hopkick afterwards, you are mostly still +13. i do think if they would press into heat smash on block or jab it would still work. all the other trades are not changing the frames tho

I won't say it's useless, it sets up decent play by mixing it up with b1,4 and you can go into BOK from it by holding down. BOK1+2 is then a good option, sometimes BOK2 or BOK1,2 depending on how they try to punish your shoulder, after this situation many people will start respecting the shoulder giving you mental frames.
@@MilanorTSW200 you can clearly see if leo goes for 4 or 1+2 after b1. There’s no mixup really. After 1+2 you can punish easily even if leo goes to bok. As i said if opponent knows it’s just free punish. There is video on you tube clearly showing this.

You're also able to get uf12 after CH d1~d since you can do u/ub/uf moves from crouch without having to crouch cancel.

Unfortunately ⬇️ 1 after a trade is now +13 instead of +18...
