Definitely go with your intuition! From the start all of my symptoms and the old wives tales pointed to boy. But my momma instinct kept reverting back to girl. We did the genetic and gender testing also, and In 22 weeks we will be welcoming our baby girl 🎀

It’s really normal. Even more so if you have the fear of loss or have experienced loss. I have had 3 mc and have 2 kids. I’m 18 weeks pregnant with number 3 (6th pregnancy) and I just started to feel like it might be okay and that it’s okay to be attached to the baby now that I’m in my second tri. I told my doctors I feel like an awful mom because I should love this baby the same as anyone else would or how I did with my first pregnancy and she said to relax that’s it’s normal and it will happen and probably between 15 and 20 ish weeks. I did feel like I’m holding back til my 20 week scan to make sure baby is good to go which sounds so stupid because you love your baby regardless and I so do but I’m not oblivious to loss and mc and still births. I know people who have had born a baby still and with I’m completely aware that it can happen to anyone and I’m not singled out from that like I thought I was when I was pregnant for the first time when those things don’t even cross your mind. So this pregnancy has been really hard for me but over the last couple weeks I have gotten more connected with baby and I’m not afraid to touch my bump and get attached.

Hi Kelsey, I heard you talking about craving frozen berries and it made me think of something Rachel from “Brad and Rach” mentioned on one of their RUclips videos: Rachel said that her craving ice was probably due to anemia and that might be due to a lack of iron. I talked to a friend and she confirmed that it was the same for her in her pregnancy. I am sure you are getting looked after perfectly by your midwife but it might be worth having an eye on your iron levels. I’ll get mine checked out soon too, even though I’m not pregnant, but have been incredibly tired the last few months.

With my second pregnancy I was so sure I was having a boy with all my symptoms the old wife's predictions and my own interwishion we even named the baby a boys name that's HOW sure I was!! come to my 20week scan we found out we were pregnant with a GIRL I was so shocked I cryed for days LOL I'm so grateful for my now 4year old, but said to myself I'd never do that again, came to my 3rd baby I swore i was having a girl! turned out it was really a boy I was rong again 🤦♀️😂
I think you're having a boy, you don't seem as sick as you were with junie but you were on the road and travelling can make you feel worse. It would be nice for you to have one of each.
