Geez… leave it to Ripple Training to take this kind of tech recommendations video to the next level. All of this stuff looked incredible and much better than what other channels recommend. Great job!
Hey Steve, I use the quadlock case and various accessories. Car mount, bike mount, motorcycle mount, tripod mount. Lets me leave the case on. I never thought to attach my watch to the actual phone-I have always just left it on my wrist and control the camera from there. Love your work. Cheers🤙
Thanks Steve - Really useful tutorial.. I use a RODE mic, then Quadlock to secure my iPhone - plus adapt my GoPro tripods for iPhone as and when :) I really like the Newer dolly. Sadly not available on Amazon UK - but I will be in NYC later this year if it hasn't crossed the Atlantic by then :) The trick with the Apple Watch was a jaw dropper!!
Just found your channel. Wow, Steve, what a breath of fresh air! Great suggestions--keep them coming. And for the record, I've gotten more information from watching two your videos than what I was able to glean from hours of other videos (too many Tubers love hearing themselves talk). I recently moved to FCP (struggling) and your "Final Cut Pro 10.6 Core Training" is exactly what I've been looking for. You got a new, enthusiastic sub.
@@rippleguys Yes, in fact I use many Smallrig accessories bought for my Sony A7III on the iPhone cage. One of the best accessories is the handle. I did a video review but, although subtitled, it is in Italian
Some great stuff here. I generally don't shoot video with my phone... but maybe I should? The first few gadgets that you showed up to and including the Neewer thingy could probably help me accomplish certain shots that I can't get with a GH5S and an Atmos Ninja tethered to it. Plus they just look fun to use.
I'm pretty impressed with what the iPhone is capable of - as long as the scene is lit properly ;) That newer dolly is loads of fun and fits in my pocket - takes food shots to a whole new level
@@Roz-Inspire-Video Yes I’m fine thank you for asking. I’m a jeweler by profession and have a small shop here in the LA district. I hope we can know each other from here if you don’t mind.
Very cool ideas, and Happy Birthday from one 60 year old to another. I think my Amazon shopping cart is looking lonely, perhaps I've found some new must-have gear. Best,
Thanks for the tip on the Moment Pro Tripod Mount. After reading the amazon comments I realized an Iphone 13 pro max with a case won't hold. So I went with ULANZI Magnetic iPhone Tripod Mount ST-28. I would link that one as well and point that out as I almost just click purchased right away. Many of us tech nerds prolly have the pro max and a case. IMHO.
Dear Steve, happy RT customer here. IMHO, the background music level is too high on this episode-I know this is personal. But you've got a great voice, so consider no music. For me it detracts, not adds. Love your and Mark's work.
Awesome video! Thanks for the shoutout ❤
love your products -
You know, I have watched a lot of "gear recommendation" videos, but this one have been by far the most useful.
Happy birthday Steve, here’s to another 60 years of great content 🎂

The tip of the iwacth was a killer! Thanks!
Great video Steve. Thanks for the recommendations and wishing you a wonderful birthday celebration!
This is what knowledge and experience look like. THANK YOU! I just ordered the Neewer 3-wheel Dolly!
Happy Birthday Steve!
Hope that you had a great Birthday Steve, thanks once more for great information.
Thanks so much for this video! I had no idea about the Newer dolly. Great stuff as always!
Yes, have had the Newer dolly for a couple of years. It’s able to carry my GH5 also with ease on a smoothie surface.
Great tips, thank you! Filmic on the Watch is my highlight!

Hi how are you doing 😊
Another great tutorial and tech recommendations and I just placed an order on the motorized dolly 👍

Thanks for that!
Really interesting and informative. Thanks Steve.
Hi , I use filmic remote on my iPad whilst recording on my iPhone. It works a treat.
Thanks
Hi Steve, great tips. I use the Smallrig cage for my iPhone 13 Pro, it's amazing
I considered buying that - makes your iPhone feel like a real camera (which it is)

That was fun … I’m curious if you have used 3rd party lens? Thanks

the moment tripod mount links to the Neewer 3 wheel thing
Fixed. Thanks!

Good point. The max is too heavy, but great tip on the Ulanzi magnetic mount - it's $10 cheaper than the Moment
Excellent tutorial, by the way. Can you post a link to the Watch app you mentioned? I heard Filipro but that didn't work.
Filmic Pro
@@lincolnezra8067 Thanks Lincoln. I have that already and now I feel a tad silly!
