This was 1 of My Son's Song that was sung,& my Sister Liz sang in Sign-Language...I MISS YOU BOTH MY SON JUNIOR & SISTER LIZ...MY MOM'S SONG TOO,DONE IN SIGN-LANGUAGE...MOM I MISS YOU SOO MUCH # YEARS ON 4-27-2010..
This song reminds me, When my grandfather died. We sing this in the church. I keep practicing this song and when I sing this in the church, I cried. Because it reminds me when my grandfather died, My mom dont know why Im crying when I sing this song. And when Im home I just wipe my tears. And I hum this song. And I feel that the past comes.
We played this at my grandfather's memorial last year. Now I hum it to myself when I miss him. I love you Pop- Pop, and I miss you more then anything! I really wish you were here right now.
When it says," I" the Lord of sea and sky, it is the Lord speaking to his people, asking who can he send, who will stand up and take the call he is placing for someone to spread his word. Then the song changes to "Here I am Lord, It is I Lord", responding to his call, like you are saying I will do it!! Yes, I will hold your people in my heart.
We played this song during my grandmother's funeral last month. I listen to this song whenever I miss her. I hope you rest in peace Sitty (11/02/13-12/18/11)
Dr. William, thank you. Your voice is incredible. The song is inspired. I will never forget the first time we sang it at my small 208 year old Presbyterian church. The congregation didn't know it, but by the time we got to the last verse, they were all bravely chiming in. Our very first circuit riding pastor, John Simpson, was also a Princeton graduate, started our church in 1789. God bless you in your ministry, wherever that may be. Our country sorely needs strong men of faith and honor.
i listen to this song every morning. At first i thought it would be a great idea for william to post a video of himself singing, but God has said let it be, Listen to the message. This is awesome. Canada
picked this out to go with part from acts where Saul is struck blind "And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord."
The piano accompaniment was created in the performance/recording by Minister Michael R. Gittens. He serves as choral assistant at Princeton Theological Seminary and Minister of Music at Kaighn Avenue Baptist Church, Camden NJ. Additional selections by this WNHeard, Gittens, and PTS choirs (Dr. Martin Tel, Director) can be heard and purchased at Amazon, Itunes, Google Music, CDBaby.com, and HeardSong.com. In response to the Divine declaration by God relative to God's attributes, intentions, and ongoing work in and through humanity, the believer responds with his/her own commitment to God's vision. WNH
Every time I hear this beautiful song. There is one thing very imp. that takes away from it.. It should be He The Lord Of Sea & Sky. It should always go as He not I . For it is He the Lord Not I the Lord.. Get It People.. This is a song that has been taken in one self by the word I .. Which is such a shame. It should be changed and kept to( HE) not saying I.. as one self.. Just want to note this very imp. flaw A Huge error toward this song....
I am 12 but I am catholic and our church sings this

I love the piano arrangement. Is there a way I can get the chords or sheet music. Who arranged it?

Great song. Unfortunately I cannot use it because the singer sings it really breathy; too bad
