  • Join us on an unforgettable adventure as we visit the stunning town of Oslob in the Philippines to see the majestic whale sharks up close! After deciding to cancel a $150 excursion ($300 for two) we spent less than $100 to do everything on that excursion but figuring everything out on our own. On top of saving all that money we truly believe we had a much better experience in Cebu. The whale sharks in Oslob was truly an unforgettable experience! We are loving our time in the Philippines!

    We have left Alaska behind! We moved to Alaska nearly 3 years ago and absolutely loved it. After moving to Alaska however, we quickly realized we wanted even more of an adventure. We decided the next adventure would be a year spent traveling the world.

      Thanks! Hostels are more of a community based hotel. They have some private rooms but often times you share a bunk room and/or a bathroom with other guests.

    tuk tuk is for Thailand, tricycle is for Philippines But, if you are riding a tuk tuk made in Thailand in Palawan then it's a tuk tuk. Yeah, you had the right decision to make your own adventure, it's more fun that way. You can also do whale swimming in Bohol and Donsol☺️

    • @jordanandsoph
      @jordanandsoph  Год назад

      Haha yes we did learn that in the Philippines they were referred to as tricycles. Thanks for watching!

      @ArnelAlina your colonial mentality is sickening. So you have a problem with calling it tuktuk because you want to use tricycle. It is the same thing idyut. Just look at Thai tuktuks. They are no different from tricycles. In fact, lots of places do not have a problem when it is called tuktuk. In India, it is called auto or rickshaw, but tuktuk is fine. Only idyuts have a problem with this.
