  • When you hear about whale shark watching in the Philippines, the first place that might pop up in your head is Oslob, Cebu, but Donsol is considered to be not only the best and most reliable spot in the Philippines to see whale sharks(locally known as "Butanding") in the wild but in THE ENTIRE WORLD!
Therefore, this is a must-visit place if you really want to see this magnificent beast of the sea, the biggest fish in the world.
In Oslob you are guaranteed to see whale sharks, but they are semi-captive and do not behave naturally. Besides almost all of them are juvenile so they aren't very big. As of recording of this video, I had not been to Oslob yet, but after trying it out, I cannot begin to describe how much more I appreciate Donsol in comparison.
And ethics aside, to swim with ENORMOUS whale sharks in the wild is such a stunning experience that this is a place I would want to visit many more times!

I'm lucky to see your channel while watching other travel vloggers. From list of videos you uploaded I can say your channel is underrated. Btw, new subs here and starting to watch your videos.

This is what adventure feels like, it's like a hunt but in this case you don't kill you hunt to get up close to these magnificent creatures. Those who wait patiently are greatly rewarded. Nice shot of the whale shark and great footage of your girlfriend beside the whale shark. It shows how big, graceful and massive these creatures are. Don't worry about your channel not blowing up yet, find your voice first and everything will follow. Once you find your voice people will surely be interested in what you're saying and will watch you with or without collabs. Keep grinding and you'll be rewarded immensely.

find other vloggers (foreign or local, it doesnt matter) and collab with them to help you grow faster.

@@magnusferdinand everybody started vlogging as "insignificant channel" until they collab with other vloggers. the secret of Filipino subscribers are their relatives living abroad.. the more you cater to the Filipino audience.. the more they will share your channel to their relatives working abroad who seem to miss the country..

@@magnusferdinand i think so too.. unlike other vloggers who have specific day of posting and their audience knows when to return to their channel to see their latest post. Example. Making it Happen Vlog post around 7pm; Ash and Kels posts every 2 days, etc.
