I realized that all three options were good. One stuck out as being a bit of a regression, one as being a bit too big of a jump, so I took the middle path and am lining up with it, slowly and happily. I know deep down that all is well, no matter what. We just can't get it wrong, that's just the drama lover in our minds that wants to spice things up a bit ;) (and that's fine, too). My dad had this illness-we-shall-not-name, and we were really scared that we would lose him. After two weeks in ICU, he came back to us. Tired, 40 pounds lighter, but alive. Now, 3 months later, he's going back to work and going back to his bike runs and long walks in the woods. Never lose hope! thinking of you xxxx

Don't sell yourself short, for only an iPhone / drone, you have a high level of production quality... I envy your remote location for it's dark sky's, I think you will be amazed on what night photography will bring to your photographic enjoyment as well as the ongoing videos. Astrophotography is one of my favorite things to do.

Transition can be a scary experience, I remember all the changes and shifts I experienced as a child and young adult, and I get goose bumps even now just reflecting upon them. However, as I've gotten older, I discover more frequently that I embrace changes now rather than mourn or fear, that I lean into transition rather than against. It sounds odd - isn't it usually the opposite - don't we usually resist change as we get older? The tree with the beautiful blossoms on it reminds me of those we have here in Italy. Ours our white and pink blossoms. In our village, we have the pink blossoms, but they only show up 1 month out of the year, while for the rest of the year the trees hold only dark reddish/brown leaves, and no hint of the beautiful blossoms that flourish in 1 month of Spring. Your videos are a sweet whisper of hope and contentment. Thank you for being who you are, and for sharing your life with us.
You really don’t need to make the production quality high, its already there. I watch your videos not to see production but your lifestyle, nature, your narration and simplicity!

I'm just 14 years old, and I live in Iowa. I've wanted to live just like you for a long time now, in fact, your videos are what first spark this in me. I understand it firsthand when you say it's intimidating. I don't know how to make the leap or what I need to do to ensure my future will be what I want it to be. I have a plan of what I want laid out, and I'm scared to death that I won't be able to live it because of I mistake I made. Both of my beautiful parents passed from this no honor illness a week apart. Dad November 4th and mom November 11th. Married for 63 years I didn’t realize how much of my world they were. It really bothers me because they were so much more than a statistic just like everyone else who succumbed from this virus. Memories of them don’t hurt like it first did and I know they are still with me. Prayers for your loved one’s and patiently waiting for the video. Dude you have a God given gift! You know what we all have a God given gift but it’s up to us to passionately pursue it. Too many people take the easiest road but I’ve learned the easiest road isn’t always the best road!

I too have had so many changes, selling our home of 35 years, moving north, I too live in Washington state, born and raised and am building my dream cottage. I retired from working at a school for almost 30 years and once settled in my home will unlock my creative soul that has had to lay dormant in all of this change and is crying to be set free once again. Hopefully you will be content with that realization because you did not hold back.

I am dumbfounded that all these videos until now have been shot on an iPhone. I just went back and rewatched "Dawn 'till Dusk at my Rural Cottage," just as an example, and almost every one of those shots seems outrageously beautiful; and the succession of them artfully cut together is nothing short of miraculous to my sensibilities.

They are microphones and wide-angle lenses that can be attached to the phone, the bidirectional microphone is one of them, they sell a base to put the phone in the tripod and then attach all those goodies, but a camera in 4k is another history, but you will have to learn how to edit the sound and the video and that is time-consuming. Don't sell yourself short, for only an iPhone / drone, you have a high level of production quality... I envy your remote location for it's dark sky's, I think you will be amazed on what night photography will bring to your photographic enjoyment as well as the ongoing videos. Astrophotography is one of my favorite things to do.

Transition can be a scary experience, I remember all the changes and shifts I experienced as a child and young adult, and I get goose bumps even now just reflecting upon them. However, as I've gotten older, I discover more frequently that I embrace changes now rather than mourn or fear, that I lean into transition rather than against. It sounds odd - isn't it usually the opposite - don't we usually resist change as we get older? The tree with the beautiful blossoms on it reminds me of those we have here in Italy. Ours our white and pink blossoms. In our village, we have the pink blossoms, but they only show up 1 month out of the year, while for the rest of the year the trees hold only dark reddish/brown leaves, and no hint of the beautiful blossoms that flourish in 1 month of Spring. Your videos are a sweet whisper of hope and contentment. Thank you for being who you are, and for sharing your life with us.

I'm just 14 years old, and I live in Iowa. I've wanted to live just like you for a long time now, in fact, your videos are what first spark this in me. I understand it firsthand when you say it's intimidating. I don't know how to make the leap or what I need to do to ensure my future will be what I want it to be. I have a plan of what I want laid out, and I'm scared to death that I won't be able to live it because of I mistake I made. I'm terrified that along the path I may stumble, but above that, I don't even know how to find the path in the first place.

Both of my beautiful parents passed from this no honor illness a week apart. Dad November 4th and mom November 11th. Married for 63 years I didn’t realize how much of my world they were. It really bothers me because they were so much more than a statistic just like everyone else who succumbed from this virus. Memories of them don’t hurt like it first did and I know they are still with me. Prayers for your loved one’s and patiently waiting for the video. Dude you have a God given gift! You know what we all have a God given gift but it’s up to us to passionately pursue it. Too many people take the easiest road but I’ve learned the easiest road isn’t always the best road!

I too have had so many changes, selling our home of 35 years, moving north, I too live in Washington state, born and raised and am building my dream cottage. I retired from working at a school for almost 30 years and once settled in my home will unlock my creative soul that has had to lay dormant in all of this change and is crying to be set free once again. I look at your home and it is in the same way I surround myself. You are amazing and encouraging with your brave spirit.

Have no worries about taking on new challenges. This is coming from a 60 year old who has spent her life being much too cautious and fearful of making mistakes and as a result many exciting adventures have been allowed to pass by. So I am encouraging you to be fearless and experience every adventure that comes your way. Take chances and live because you will wake up one day not that far in the future and will too realize most of your life is behind you. Hopefully you will be content with that realization because you did not hold back.

I am dumbfounded that all these videos until now have been shot on an iPhone. I just went back and rewatched "Dawn 'till Dusk at my Rural Cottage," just as an example, and almost every one of those shots seems outrageously beautiful; and the succession of them artfully cut together is nothing short of miraculous to my sensibilities.

They are microphones and wide-angle lenses that can be attached to the phone, the bidirectional microphone is one of them, they sell a base to put the phone in the tripod and then attach all those goodies, but a camera in 4k is another history, but you will have to learn how to edit the sound and the video and that is time-consuming. As a dog lover, I wouldn't complain about dog hair found in the mail from a talented artist that has a cute dog. :) (It would actually make me smile. I hope that the customer in question was nice about it and only tried to help her improve her business by pointing it out.)
@@misspeach3755 Exactly, and all that is necessary is to state its coming from a home that has pets.. Smoke smell is a different matter all together.
One of my co-workers asked what to “bring from Publix” (local grocery store) to a potluck lunch at work. Then she said “I have 4 dogs and no one wants me to bring food from home.” LOL!

Me too. It actually adds a personal touch, I think. (It always makes me giggle when I'm at work and suddenly feel an itch only to realize that it's some dog hair from yesterday's grooming session with my boyfriend's dogs. :D )
