Not comparing apples to apples. Some of these are prices for 2016 models and some are 2008 and older. No mention of mileage either. I fully expect a 15 year old car to have lost value compared to new msrp.
That's a wise thing to do 👍. That's what I would do if I couldn't afford the maintenance any longer on my old Jaguar (XF, 2013) and BMW (6 Series, 2008).
Neither one with over 200K in miles, it’s in need to do much maintenance. Transmission, ball joints tie rod ends shocks electronics, window regulators, electro issues…dude it’s a money pit the free maintenance would expire before the vehicle had the kinks worked out😂😂😂
I feel like you can buy nearly any car for cheap with this many miles. Sure if you don't drive anywhere you can get a few years out of them, but if you actually drive anywhere, the Lexus' and the Nissan are the only ones worth anything with the mileage being that high.
Yeah I'm pretty sure u won't find any of these cars for this prices anymore. No car is cheap not even high mileage. Not even rusty cars. I tried finding an acura rsx type S. 10-20k for lowish miles. Also a 07-08 acura TL type s, 15-20k for low ish miles . 10 years ago your snag em for maybe 5-7k
A lot of these will give you headaches to no end. Especially the Porsche Cayenne. There is a reason why SOME of these are so cheap. Others are bargains. The car I would recommend is the E38 7-Series. Bulletproof if maintaned well. I had a 750i that was imported from Japan and drove it for 9 months without a single issue. But then again, others were not so lucky. So think twice before buying any of these cars. And whatever you do, stay away from the (pre-facelift) E65 7-Series.
You're comparing the depreciation of cars that are 7 years old to cars that are 19 years old. It is April 1st when I watched this,so I assumed it was an April fool's video, but alas it was posted 2 weeks ago.
Make sure you set aside $20k for repair costs the first couple of years. Dealers have no shame asking for $20k to punish you for making this dumb decision. It's sort of like buy now and pay later in repair costs. Don't take them to your local mechanic since they will ruin the ride quality. Oh also avoid British vehicles like Jaguars.
Cheap yes, but to insure them and fix them that discount goes bye bye, fortunately I have my 2012 avalon for $14,900 that's perfect and easy to work on and good on insurance and makes them dodges so angry😂😍😂

Hey, I search all internet and auto tempest (nada No) dont find one whatsoever please point, derect me to fews? I'm interested in Q60, A7, LS460, E55, S550, Cayenne, Thanks
The Catch 22 is maintenance parts & repair cost.
You'll get that sucking sound from your wallet when purchasing a money pit like a Maserati or Audi??
And most of these cars are super unreliable
I wouldn't think anyone is rich if I seem them driving these cars.
Not comparing apples to apples. Some of these are prices for 2016 models and some are 2008 and older. No mention of mileage either. I fully expect a 15 year old car to have lost value compared to new msrp.
I want a luxury car but all the maintenance talk scares me back to regular cars 🤦🏾♂️
That's a wise thing to do 👍. That's what I would do if I couldn't afford the maintenance any longer on my old Jaguar (XF, 2013) and BMW (6 Series, 2008).
Yep. You can buy 'em cheap. Wait until you need some work done, though. You'll be stunned at what, say, an oil change will run you.
That ad you showed of 2012 jaguar for 5,700 is a wrecked car!
My pick would be the m benz e55 supercharge amg.. Or the audi a7
Hey I saw my car 😂
Who thinks somebody is rich driving a 15 year old Mercedes?
I've been driving a 2008 6 Series coupe and some have been commenting about me being rich. Many people are ignorant about cars ...
Make one for Europe because a v8 in Europe is financial suicide
Danm how many of these videos can you do.
If I had free maintenance, the E55 would be the choice. Otherwise the Genesis or Lexus are the better options
Neither one with over 200K in miles, it’s in need to do much maintenance. Transmission, ball joints tie rod ends shocks electronics, window regulators, electro issues…dude it’s a money pit the free maintenance would expire before the vehicle had the kinks worked out😂😂😂
You have to add about $5K to your lowest prices.
Maserati ghibli for 10k ? Where ?
You're comparing the depreciation of cars that are 7 years old to cars that are 19 years old. It is April 1st when I watched this,so I assumed it was an April fool's video, but alas it was posted 2 weeks ago.
Why don't you include the years?
Prices for any of those is 3x your quote and all with at least 12 years of use
Hey Brad. 2023 says it's time to turn your cap around.
I didn't avoid Jaguar. I've owned a gorgeous XF since 2019. It's been fairly reliable.
@@zsb707 Because it's a fairly new car. It's a time bomb. Get rid of it before you get huge repair bills.
@@hurguler Time bomb or not, I intend to keep it till the end of this decade.
Good morning folks
Cheap yes, but to insure them and fix them that discount goes bye bye, fortunately I have my 2012 avalon for $14,900 that's perfect and easy to work on and good on insurance and makes them dodges so angry😂😍😂
Is an Avalon..."Lexus enough" to skip getting a Lexus & get the Avalon instead?
I've driven crap all my life & I deserve some luxury & comfort.
Excellent for the Lexus and maybe the infinity, all money pits
From someone who owns the genesis its not quality it it a hyundai and it will show it....but the engine is mint absolutely no problems with the engine its very reliable absolutely no problems with it
You can get a Passat CC for a bit over 5k and it looks better too
Better than what? Ghibli/XF/A7/Q60? It's just a VW Passat with a more stylish design.
And has one of the most unreliable engines ever made
@Mat Dyke the 2.0 turbocharged was reliable. It's not a Corolla but it's a decent car with cheap parts
@@Bogdan24199 brate these guys are clueless dont even know how slept on the CC is😂
When he mentioned Maserati Ghibli i exited the video knowing whyall others cool looking cars in this video's are cheap
Cheap to Buy doesn't mean Cheap to Maintain
Secondhand Luxury Car still need Luxury Sparepart
you forget to mention these cars are 20 years old
No they aren't. For example, the Jaguar XF is a 10-year-old car.
Chick chick and let's goooooooo
Pheaton such a underrated car
Volkswagen junk.
Nightmare to own. I follow an auto writer that stupidly owned one. He admits it.
You dont tell us the unreliability nightmares lol
