    @IdealCars the only luxury I ever been one, was when my dad use to be the manager at the Toyota dealer. And he picked up a 98’ Lexus LS400. It’s one of the most luxurious vehicles ever. I fell in love ever since. It’s comfy, it’s got that bullet proof V8, and of course, extremely reliable. It’s a must have. And one day, I will own one.

    One of my dad's business friends back in the day was the US rep for Fiat (1970's). In fact when I was looking to buy my first car we were all together at the house and when my Dad suggested he sell me a Fiat he replied with a thick Italian accent, "I would not want to lose you as a friend." In any case he showed up in an optioned out Jaguar XJ 12. And as we went for a ride, my Dad a Caddy man was even impressed. Nothing like that leather, wood intoxicating smell.

    I got to ride in a early 80’s Lamborghini Countach. My grandparents neighbor had a black one in the early 90’s. If I remember right he was going 100mph as we entered the freeway. Also I remember it wasn’t very luxurious. I don’t think it even had a stereo. I was only 10 or 11 years old but I’ve been hooked on cars ever since.

    For the car fans that noticed, every car on this list is reliable and should go up in value given enough time. Even Porsche, BMW, and Mercedes are very reliable. The reason he does not mention the 750i is that it has a BMW v12....and we all know what that means. My personal recommendation for the Mercedes is the e55 amg, its reliable fast beautiful and most of all fairly affordable. You could seriously use the ideal car strategies on an e55 merc, and make all your money back. I'm talking, maintenance and all.
    More on the BMW, I recommend you budget about $15,000 and get one in perfect condition with all the best options
    I think you guys at ideal should've added one more car to the list, but this car deserves its own video. The Toyota Century, that Japanese v12 that body style that is so classy and not to mentions the interior that rivals the best. Combined with the most important factor, Toyota's reliability. Seriously, this is so good It's on an entirely another level than Lexus. Not to mention you can get them at good prices, of course, you might have to wait to import one but my god will it be worth it if you get a good one.
    Ideal you guys 100% should make a video on the Toyota century

    The 02-03 TL Type-S didn't come with a manual transmission, only the coupe version, the CL Type-S, did. And the 5 speed auto in the 02-03 Type-S had bad 3rd gear clutch packs unless it was replaced with the updated one post March 2005. Just something to keep in mind if you're looking for one.

    • @GoWailord
      @GoWailord 2 года назад

      @@chiarac4967 yeah, that can definitely sour you on a car for sure. Unfortunately the Honda automatics are very hit or miss from the early to mid 2000s unless you're overly meticulous with the transmission fluid changes. And I'm talking like every other oil change since you only drain 3 qts out at a time due the transmission design. Definitely not one of their finer points.

    hmmm, well.... I had the pleasure of driving a friends A5 for a few days and it was a luxury to do so, I really do enjoy getting into my '09 128i every day though. Neither may be considered 'luxury' but they both sure make me feel great.

    Cool vid but a couple of points. TLs only came in auto (in north America) and the only 6spd is the CL (shown in your vid) type s in 2003. And second point, the BMW e38 is NOT reliable, trust me...

    The FX35 my family has is from 2011 and literally has a setting to save driver presences for mirrors / seat position for up to 2 people. Back Up camera with 360 degree top view awd drive, dual AC vents, 300hp blows me away most entry cars don’t have all these features today!

    The luxury car I've rode on was the 2016 Mercedes C63 AMG Sedan. It's impressive and can deliver power when demanded.
    Unfortunately I couldn't qualify to get it so I settle for my 2012 Lexus ISF.

    Holy crap, FX35 was my first car. It was a great car except the bottom got rusted due to the winter snow salts in NYC. I traded in for the E350 that is also mention here. Definitely not my best choice. It kind great but the back is cram. Also not reliable at all, electronics keep breaking down. My current is not the first Gen Cayenne but the second. My best car, paid 63k for a 3 year old Cayenne GTS. I love the sound of a V8. Also reliable for a 2013. I just change the spark coils that was going to hell. Aside from that mostly stress-free. I was told that even Benz is reliable if it's made in Germany not US.

    The most luxurious car 🚗 I’ve owned is, (drum roll please) The 05 LS 430 with the ultra luxury package. Bar none. It has a 20 gal tank and is supposed to get 23 to 25 miles per gallon. I got 650 out of mine before. Go figure. Definitely the best luxury car on the planet that year. It had the radar cruise, reclining right side back seat and a real refrigerator in the back console. Plus about 100 more features. That can be gotten for about 10 k still. By the way, I’ve had beemers, zzzzs, &RLs,Saabs and Cadillac s. Nothing comes close. Although I did like my two RLs.
