- The Prime Minister says the Government cannot rule out further COVID-19 restrictions over the festive season. After a two hour Cabinet meeting, he says they will be monitoring the data constantly to survey their options.
Boris Johnson also responded to the recent picture released claiming to show members of Number 10 staff as well as the PM drinking wine in the garden of Downing Street while in lockdown. He explained the circumstances of that picture as 'those were people at work, talking about work.'

I worked 18 years in our Hospitality Industry and I can't start imaging what the Industry is going through right now.

Then it becomes a group who think they have the right to rule, and everyone else is beneath them. They work for us. The current structure needs a rethink, but to get rid of the government would be chaos.

Most of the people I know aren't vaccinated at all. They are lying about the figures, it's mostly women getting it.
I waited 12 hours for an out of hours gp to call me. They said I need to discuss with my GP, GP reception said they have no appointments call 111 or go to a&e. Im wheelchair bound and haven't been able to get out of my wheelchair for 24 hours
Took me all day yesterday trying to get my 2 year old a doctors appointment as they said they were fully booked ,managed to get one today after making a complaint , just got back there was not a soul in the doctors was just me my son and several empty chairs.

Not vaxed, had covid last week and it was very mild. I had a runny nose for 2 days and a slight headache. I eat well and take vitamin d and c so will continue doing what I'm doing

South Africa have had almost no restrictions in place since the pandemic started and roughly 30% of the population are vaccinated, yet 72% of the population contain the antibodies required for immunity against covid. If only 30% of the population are vaccinated why are there not many more deaths? Omicron has all the possibilities to bring an end to the pandemic based on natural immunity as it's less likely than other variants to cause significant illness, especially in a well vaccinated country like the UK.
