- WELCOME!!! My name is Liz, a succulent addict. My succulent addiction started whilst establishing my maintenance free garden. #succulent #garden #plants
I was looking for succulents that can survive our extreme weather and in the process ended up buying any species of succulent I could get my hands on. Now I call myself a "collector" because I can't seem to stop buying and looking for new species or variety of succulents. Now my succulents tally into thousands as I also propagate and create my own hybrids.
Along the way, I have learned through experimentation how to better care and grow hardy and strong plants that can survive a wide range of conditions both indoors and outdoors.
I'll share with you my techniques to growing beautiful, hardy and colourful succulents; from garden tours, growing & propagating tips, buying guides and maintenance.
I also love finding my own rocks and gemstones and incorporate them into my succulent arrangements.

I adore succulents! I lost my precious few from our move from Tennessee to Idaho, and I am soooo sad! Your collection of beauties blew me away! I had no idea there were so many colorful varieties. Besides Lowe's and Home Depot, where would you recommend visiting for purchasing a wider variety. I am so eager to learn from your channel. Thank you for posting!
I'm in Australia and lately been buying a lot of succulents online from specialize succulent shops/store. I also buy a lot from Australian Facebook sellers.
Being yourself in USA, I'm sure there's a also a US version of stores and Facebook Sellers. Type in SUCCULENT SELLERS on your search bar and on FACEBOOK, and you'll be amazed of how many sellers there are out there near you.

I am so happy to see you have started this channel. I found you a few months ago and have seen your succulent videos. I can watch them over and over. Seeing your garden gives me hope that I can successfully keep succulents out doors. I live in Peachtree City Georgia in the USA where the summers can be hot, humid and wet and the winters cold.
I can’t wait for more of your videos! I am very interested to learn and hope to see videos about what soils you use, if you mix them yourself, what you use as top dressings, your pots and everything in-between about your successful gardens . Thank you so much for sharing.

Hi Liz. I've been following you on your other channel and just subbed & belled on this channel also. I really liked your E. Amestro & purchased one myself. I have mine exposed to the elements and gets afternoon sun but I've only had it since Autumn and now it's coming up to the end of Winter here in Oz. So I'm worried when Summer comes. Should I offer it some protection from the afternoon sun? I hope you see this message & reply. Thanks in advance. ♥️
Hi Mel, I'm also in OZ, Canberra. This is the perfect time to leave it where it is since it's already winter acclimatized. In my latest video, Succulent Mornings VLOG #4, I bought a lot of baby succs yesterday and I will be showing how I'll acclimatized them to get them ready for our scorching summer.

May I suggest you propagate as much as you can the one's you have then you can swap with other collectors or maybe sell some to buy new ones.

hi. Liz i what soil wetter can i use here in California or another like the one you use and can i Master Soil Mix for my Cactus?
I use Advance soil mix for my cactus but thinking of changing to Master soil mix since my cactus are growing slow. Any seaweed base solution can be use as a substitute for soil wetter.

Hay naku po. South Australia is one of the succulent capital of Australia. An daming succulent seller at nursery dyan sa inyo. Dyan kami bumibili ng succulents. Google nyo po yung mga seller.

No I don't sell. They grow so slow and I need a lot of plants to put in the garden. Maybe in a few years time. Thanks for watching.

As a beginner, i find it hard to differenciate between succulents that can survive with extreme weather here in Norway. During winter time, our climate weather ranges between negative 15-20 degree celcius. Any recommendation?, Thank you poh.
The lowest my succulents have experienced is minus 11 Celcius. You can maybe try Sempervivum as they are European succulents and can be buried under snow and they come back in spring. Your Echeveria, Graptoveria, graptopetalums just to name a few will have to grow indoors during winter.
